Our stay at Copperstone was nice. The apartment was roomy and clean. It would have been a little better if their was a second hot tub as the one they had was pretty full a lot of the time. Another BBQ would have also been nice. My only other complaint was the lack of utensils in the unit. No scissors, no tongs. Overall though it was nice and would recommend this place.

This property is very clean and well maintained, well appointed in terms of supplies in condo. I was never able to get into guest portal for check in which was annoying but thankfully front desk people were very helpful. My only complaint was only one hottub, always full and closed so early. Plus there is literally nothing in dead’s man and roads got bad but we still had to trek to canmore. For the $$ could have stayed in Canmore. Beautiful property and condo though.

The property is easy to access off the Trans Canada. Well insulated because we did not hear any outside traffic and slept well. Underground parking is convenient. Having our own washer/dryer was so helpful when we came back from our hike soaking wet and dirty. Close to Canmore where we would stop for supplies on our way back from the park. Appreciated the clean outdoor hot tub after long hikes. Recommend!

My friend and I love exploring National Parks and wilderness throughout North America, and this was a wonderful basecamp for our adventures in Banff, Jasper, and Kootenay! This resort was close to the town of Canmore, which we found more appealing in terms of cost and relaxation then staying directly in one of the parks. Additionally, the facilities were clean and well organized. We would have loved to have access to the fire pit for more extended hours (it closed at 10pm each night), we understand that it was linked to the staffing hours for the front desk. Would definitely stay here again!

We felt so relaxed in our cozy apartment. The location was close to Canmore for shopping and a short drive to the lovely town of Banff to hike and sightsee the surrounding mountains and lakes. The onsite hot tub was a huge bonus where we could soak after hours of hiking and sightseeing! Highly recommend this resort!

This place is very convenient to Canmore and Banff. The room is clean and spacious with full kitchen, study desk and a lot of storage. Beds are very comfy. It's perfect for a small family. The only issue that I confronted is parking. In order to easily check out next morning, I thought it's ok to bring the parking pass with me to the room at the end of the day because I haven't checked out yet. Next morning after I dropped the room keys with parking pass to checkout box and was ready to leave, I found there was a parking violation notice ($70 at 11:39pm ) on my car because of no display of the pass. I contacted the resort and explained it to them about the reason to waive the fee. but what they did is just to pass my message to the parking company. At the end I paid $30 even though I was their customer and had the pass. I never worried about the parking when I stayed in any hotel, but this place is very different. Remember to display the parking pass in your car till last minute.

Our group rented 4 units at the property and all were clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great and the bike storage in the underground parking was appreciated. The layout of the property and the access from the underground parking was really well thought out. The only downsides (which made it a 4 for me instead of a 5) were the distance to the closest grocery store - it was a 10 min highway drive to Canmore. The height limitation on the parking garage meant some of the vehicles with roof top carriers could not access the garage.

I loved staying here in a smaller village but so close to everything I would need in Canmore. Beautiful area! The rental suite was so clean and comfortable! And had everything I needed and more. I will definitely stay here again!

The room was very spacious, could of been cleaner. We a pizza crust under the dishwasher and some of the cups were filthy. We arrived at 5:30 pm to check in and there was a notice saying be back at 6 pm Sorry for the inconvenience. She didn't show up until 6:15 and unapologetically checked us in so my first impression wasn't very good orherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

We truly enjoyed stay here as it was a quiet place and we loved our suite which was a second floor corner unit. We did not mind the 10 min drive to Canmore for lunch and dinner as this time of year it’s still bright out side. We will for sure stay here again.

Such a nice and comfy place to stay! The kitchen was great and the bed was perfect. Wondering why there were no washcloths in the bathroom but no big deal. Very happy there was a washer and dryer. Would absolutely recommend! P.S. being from the states, we weren’t completely familiar with the trash/recycling process. I separated things the best I could think of. Hope it was all ok. We also tried to be helpful by washing and putting away all of the towels before we left. Thanks for a great stay!

The unit was beautiful and well cared for. Everything you need is there. The building itself is nothing fancy but once you enter the unit you know you chose the right spot. While it looks out to the mountains, right across the street is a construction type trailer. However the south exposure with the sun coming in is lovely. As long as you have a car, you can make your way to Canmore for services but not much to see or do at Dead Man's Flat. If you want quiet...this is the place for you.

This is a wonderful stay the only negative I have is the check in time. We were told we would be able to check in early (noon) and there were no open rooms ready so we had to wait 4 more hours. This was inconvenient as we had purchased groceries however front desk staff was accommodating and kept the food cold for us! I would stay again!

This place is very convenient to Canmore and Banff. The room is clean and spacious with full kitchen, study desk and a lot of storage. Beds are very comfy. It's perfect for a small family. The only issue that I confronted is parking. In order to easily check out next morning, I thought it's ok to bring the parking pass with me to the room at the end of the day because I haven't checked out yet. Next morning after I dropped the room keys with parking pass to checkout box and was ready to leave, I found there was a parking violation notice ($70 at 11:39pm ) on my car because of no display of the pass. I contacted the resort and explained it to them about the reason to waive the fee. but what they did is just to pass my message to the parking company. This is our second year staying at Copperstone Resort and we had a great time. The place is quiet though there are a lot of people around and it is very dog-friendly. The office staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort.

The room was very spacious, could of been cleaner. We a pizza crust under the dishwasher and some of the cups were filthy. We arrived at 5:30 pm to check in and there was a notice saying be back at 6 pm Sorry for the inconvenience. She didn't show up until 6:15 and unapologetically checked us in so my first impression wasn't very good orherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was close to the highway and close to Canmore. However, it was a little bit of a drive to the main Banff attractions. Overall, it served its purpose, but nothing special.

The property is easy to access off the Trans Canada. Well insulated because we did not hear any outside traffic and slept well. Underground parking is convenient. Having our own washer/dryer was so helpful when we came back from our hike soaking wet and dirty. Close to Canmore where we would stop for supplies on our way back from the park. Appreciated the clean outdoor hot tub after long hikes. Recommend!

We truly enjoyed stay here as it was a quiet place and we loved our suite which was a second floor corner unit. We did not mind the 10 min drive to Canmore for lunch and dinner as this time of year it’s still bright out side. We will for sure stay here again.

The unit was beautiful and well cared for. Everything you need is there. The building itself is nothing fancy but once you enter the unit you know you chose the right spot. While it looks out to the mountains, right across the street is a construction type trailer. However the south exposure with the sun coming in is lovely. As long as you have a car, you can make your way to Canmore for services but not much to see or do at Dead Man's Flat. If you want quiet...this is the place for you.

The room was perfect, we have stayed here before in the same room. It is ideal being right at the end of the hallway (corner unit), nice and quite. There was an issue with regards to the parking payment as the discount code did not work, but it was resolved the next day and I received my refund. All in all, a great experience and loved being at this location as it is quite, and only 10 mins to Canmore.
