Fantastisk lejlighed i Bastogne

I bit of miscommunication due to personal foreign language inabilities, but between interpreting and lots of what felt like charades, I think we made a good conversation work well.The owner is a nice lady who is very enthusiastic. She has cats and dogs. The dogs are friendly, make sure to let them smell your hand and pet them. The cats are around, the one small issue was the cat smell, but manageable. The property is clean, with a great view. Cows meander across the back as well as chickens. This was a oddity since our rural areas are very offset from the cities, unlike Belgium/Bastogne.The center of Bastogne is a 15 minute walk from the property, making this very accessible.

This property is a sectioned-off part of a house. The host was welcoming and kind. Of all the places we stayed on this trip, this was the best. The view is fantastic (see the photo below. The living/dining room is spacious as you can see in the pictures.. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic.It is also very centrally located. If I return to the area, this is where I'll be staying.

I travelled with my dog and we enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The appartement is spacious and has everything you need. The view is breathtaking. The bed is comfortable, I never slept better!!! My dog loved the huge, fenced garden. Marie made us feel at home and is very helpful. She provided very good tips to visit. We left as friends and hope to return next year.
