6 Star Luxury Villa, Private Island Near Lake District

Booked for group of 19 for stag weekend. Place was perfect and had everything you could want. Would be good if there was a BBQ but other than this the place was ideal and great location. Had so much information shared in advance of check in and every detail was covered. Photos don’t do it justice! Would recommend and would definitely book again!

17 of my family stayed in Hermitage House from Friday - Monday and gosh we had some fun. We watched a film in the cinema room, had some fun gambling on the casino. Going for night/early morning walks to try spot the otters & overall enjoyment. The house was big enough that you wouldn’t have known there was so many of us there!! Thank you Jerry

Great stay in a stunning house with lots of lovely features. The owner Jerry was super helpful and allowed us to check in early to set up decorations. Only thing I would say is that the website says the check out time is 11 and the details we had for check out was 10

We had a great time at Hermitage House. I cherished every second. The setting is perfect, and the view is stunning. It was really tidy and lovely! Modern bathrooms and nice, roomy rooms. We enjoyed every moment of it. The setting is perfect, and the view is stunning. The host is incredibly responsive and kind. I'm eager to return. We've just come back from a 4 day stay at Hermitage House. To say it was absolutely stunning is an understatment. The property and grounds are breath-taking. Jerry was a fantastic host. His communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. He ensured that we had all the relevant information. The kitchen was well equipped and all the little extras, towels, complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. It's an amazing place to stay for a celebration or just a family break. Pleanty to do for both adults and kids. Already looking forward to booking again. The property was extremely clean and maintained to a high standard. Thanks Jerry for being such a good host.
