Breakfast was Amazing, a lot of choices, The Room Was Warm and cozy

This place was not what I expected reading about it. Check in was fine but the person at the reception insisted we leave our shoes in the front. They do not provide courtesy slippers and so we had to walk in our socks to the room. They have a motley basket of slippers, which I’m not wearing! God knows whose feet were in them before me. Half were grungy travel slippers. The room had no shampoo or conditioner. Hot water took awhile to come. As we were the only people, the staff had breakfast setup in a small frig in the dining room. We could have it anytime between 7-10 am! This place had more dos and don’t s than amenities. At least the bed was clean and we could sleep for the night.

Die Zimmer waren ausserordentlich schön und sauber. Das Personal kümmerte sich sehr gut um uns und war immer da. Wir kommen wieder :)

Hotel is very dated. The room looks different from the photos.
