Wonderful B&B near the centre of Matlock. We loved our room and the person running it was lovely and very helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable two-night stay at Sheriff Lodge. The owner accommodated our early check in, which was very kind of her. Throughout our stay we had good conversations with the owner, who was a lively lady. Room was nicely decorated. The bed very comfortable and the room/bathroom exceptionally clean. Breakfasts were freshly cooked to perfection, with a wide choice. Location was ideal for the town, albeit the walk back up the hill took us longer than the walk down :) Most definitely we will be going back, next time we visit Matlock and the beautiful surroundings.

The stay at Sheriff Lodge,Matlock was absolutely excellent.Ziz the Propietor goes above and beyond in every aspect.My Partner and I stayed 20th April- 22nd April,the latter being my Birthday. Ziz popped a Birthday Card on the Breakfast Table discreetly with amazing food on offer and excellently cooked wvery time.Her local knowledge was also above and beyond juxtapose her Hospitality and attentiin to all details.
