Marriners Blick in Apollo Bay

Property was excellent. So well appointed, great stay. Great for our family and dog. Highly recommend

I own a short term holiday rental property and I have hosted guests for 8 years. I understand the issues on both sides of this discussion. The property is not as pristine as shown in the photographs.The indoor areas were clean albeit the dishwasher was not cleared by the person who cleaned up after the previous occupants. The kitchen was was very modern with well designed storage. It did not have all the utensils we expected for what was described as a well appointed kitchen eg - knife sharpeners, large roasting pans & chopping boards, good cutting knives & properly functioning vegetable peelers. An excellent roasting pan was eventually supplied and the kitchen knives sharpened. The television in the living area did not have instructions about how to use it nor were there any instructions about other appliances though most were reasonably intuitive apart from the volume control on the living room television set. The bathrooms & bedrooms were very good & the queen sized beds very comfortable. Our main disappointment with this property which detracted significantly from our stay was the very uncomfortable lounge setting which appeared to be very old-the seats had no springs or proper cushioning so that you sank into them. The lounge seating set back my recovery from a fractured vertebra. A safety issue that needs to be considered is the lack of hand support to enable one to get into and out of the bath. It appears that a number of townhouses with a similar design in close proximity so there is no privacy if all properties are occupied. The garden and deck areas are rather poorly presented - the view to the sea is blocked by overgrown plants. There was an unwashed lounge chair on the deck downstairs into the back garden. There was nowhere pleasant to sit there. Apart from the lounge chair, there were two wicker chairs without any padding. They were unusable. The upstairs deck had a dining setting with chairs that were frayed and looked unsafe to sit on. There was no umbrella or other awning to provide shelter from the sun which limited the use of that deck. There was a rusty old BBQ left in situ did not enhance the aesthetics of the deck. The whole top living is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass but all the windows were dirty. The property needs to be upgraded to reflect how it is presented on line.

Absolutely beautiful. Spacious, yet cosy comfortable and modern. Fully equiped kitchen and laundry. Very comfortable beds. Lots of extras. Big TV. Games books, balcony, bbq.

This is the second time we stayed here. A fantastic location, great for a weekend away. Secure yard was a bonus as we could bring our dog also.

We stayed with our dogs and we were impressed by the quality of the property. Everything we needed was there and the house was beautiful.

Our party consisted of 5 adults and 1 dog. The house was perfect as it was a short walk to the end of the street to a great dog friendly beach😀😀. The house was great as it had everything that we needed.

Great location and lots of room for our adult family and dog. Only issue was with the very damp smell in the bedrooms . Otherwise spot on

The apartment was very clean and very cozy. The owner was very polite and welcoming.

Enjoyed a brief overnight here. Some extra toiletries and towels would be nice. A little sea air needed to help freshen the house.

Beautifully presented property. Clean and tidy. Clear instructions and great communication with the host. A short walk into Apollo Bay which was really handy.

The house was overall comfortable, with essential equipments and nicely decorated. wifi was a plus point. Above all, Geoff was really helpful and caring. -- It'd be good to find a solution for musty and stuffy odor in bedrooms.

The house was in a great location and well appointed. It was easy to comminicate with the owners when required. Upstairs was well designed. The house did need the windows cleaned (which was actioned, thank you), but the downstairs rooms had an issue with moths and some dampness.

We had a one night stay in Apollo Bay and Geoff's place was absolutely perfect. It's a very stylish place with about a 10 minute walk into town. Well appointed, comfortable beds and well fitted out. We will absolutely stay again

Architecturally modern impressive house. Very well appointed. We enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was of a high standard and the only downside was the lack of view!!

Was a short stay, just overnight. Would have been perfect if we could have checked out a little later or in a little earlier as it was only 16hr’s use, but we do understand the challenges.
