Pillars House

Staff was friendly and informative at check-in. Breakfast was not officially provided, but all the makings of a continental breakfast were available in the kitchen (included) - breads, pastry, fruit, juice, coffee. It's a small property so the staff aren't always waiting for arrivals so try to give them a good idea of when you will arrive to avoid them not being available. Easy access from the tram and a nice walk to Leith or into Edinburgh.

From May 1st to 4th, my family and I stayed at the Pillars House Hotel in Edinburgh, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The historic structure, elegant architecture, and peaceful atmosphere were all part of the service we received from the very beginning. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The quiet and peaceful environment truly allowed us to relax. I would also like to thank Craig. His extremely attentive, kind, and sincere approach made us feel like he was there for us. His focus on guest comfort and solution-oriented approach ensured our stay was flawless. Encountering such professionalism and sincerity was truly invaluable. We sincerely thank all the hotel staff for their smiles, attention, and hospitality. What an absolute gem, so pleased we booked to stay. Free parking around the back, easy check in, Craig and Anthony were so friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble and communication by email was excellent. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet, the bathroom was also spotless with a good shower, there was even a fridge in the room which was a bonus along with complimentary water and Iron Bru! The B&B had a good size kitchen where you helped yourself to breakfast, bread, cereal and pastries, butter and jams, there was also different pots if you wanted to cook anything. Right on the tram line and lots of different cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Fully recommend staying here and we'll definitely be back!
