The Wensleydale Heifer

This is superb quirky hotel/pub to stay at. food very high end / good description is Michelin star without being nominated! Each room has a different different theme - all very quirky with ‘surprises’ to match theme. Everyone we spoke to were return visitors - this is THE place to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries. Higher end price bracket but worth it - they do have mid week offers.will definitely return

A warm welcome from all staff for us ( & our Dalmatian who was spoilt rotten!). Food superb and room clean & cosy. Easy beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect!

It is impossible to overstate the standard of the Wensleydale Heifer. The awards affirm the restaurant quality and the standard of accommodation. What they do not evidence is the attention to detail that every member of staff personifies. This is the first opportunity we have had to stay at the Heifer, although we have eaten here before. The hotel was everything we hoped for and will become our "go to" place in the Dales. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The food was simply excellent with first class serving staff. A wonderful experience in every respect. Thank you to all for making our stay so enjoyable.
