Nice clean room. Great value food in the pub. Excellent position. Although difficult to fix the kitchen fan was right outside our room. It was switched off at 9:00pm which was excellent but it was winter so we were in the room from 5:00 to 9:00pm apart from eating. The fans are intrusively loud. That knocked the comfort score down a bit.

Had an overnight stay here recently and enjoyed it. Plenty of towels, couple of bottles of water in the fridge, good tea/coffee facilities. Shower was very good. Light sleepers may be affected by cars leaving the venue via the gravel car park and the in-room fridge switching on during the night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of beers to choose from and an option to have dinner there. Separate entrance/exit from the pub entrances, very useful indeed. I would stay here again

Reasonably nice room with adequate bathroom at a rural site outside Gloucester. Its restaurant was decent. Lots of free parking! Room was very hot, though, and no fan, making sleeping there difficult (kept waking up sweating).

This was a fine hotel for the UK with a small bedroom (which is normal) and a good sized shower (which is not normal). It was very nice to have a mini fridge and kettle with cups, plates and silverware. We ate in the restaurant downstairs which was fine. When we were ready to check out, no one was around so we just left our keys in the room. Hope that was ok.

Really nice area and conviently located close to the wedding venue we were going to. Price was also reasonable. Main issue was that the shower did not work. The tap to adjust the heat was broken so it only gave freezing cold water. Luckily we were headed home so just decided to shower when we got back. There were also a few black hairs around the room. The matress wasnt that comfortable but the pillows seemed to be new and were decent. The room itself and the facilities were good enough. For 1 night and for the price it would have been completely adequate if the shower had worked.

Hotel is hard to find via the postcode, my satnav took us to a different place. Check in was a tad long as our booking wasn't written down. Room its self was very comfortable and clean, we had a great night's sleep however, as the rooms are above a pub, the late night leavers of the establishment made a fair bit of noise. Stayed here for a wedding, room was small but clean. You could feel the bed springs on your back when you laid down and the bed was a bit small. Understood they had breakfast included, but they don't serve breakfast. Staff was lovely and very accommodating.

A really nice suite with it's own kitchen. The building is old and creaks a bit but is in good condition. The suite we had was close to the extract fan for the kitchen which was noisy until it shut down just after 9 pm to allow a peaceful night.

Room is dated. Room was above kitchen with ventilation ducts running bergen the room behind plasterboard, this was very noisy. Iron was of poor quality and could do with replacing. Shower was nice and powerful.

Absolutely amazing stay at the Bell. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and professionalism. The room was cosy, but completely adequate overlooking the green. I have to extend a massive thank you to the kitchen staff who cooked us the amazing meal.( my steak was cooked just perfect!)

Excellent stay apart from 2 things! 1 the WiFi was rubbish and 2 when I booked it said breakfast included and then on arrival I was informed breakfast was not included and they had been trying to remove it!

lovely stay in a self catering apartment, well equipped with every thing you require. A well stocked shop 2 doors away. room was very quiet even though it was above the pub. i would stay here again. host were very polite and got us checked in quickly.

The only issue we had was the radiator in the living are was jammed on full. We spoke to a member of staff who immediately came to our room to see if he could sort it out. He could not but said he would report this to maintenance the next day. Our stay was excellent - the accommodation is spacious and comfortable, the food was excellent, the service by all the staff was excellent and the location is very close to WWT Slimbridge - the purpose of our visit. We will look forward to our next visit.

Very good facilities. Everything you could want in the room. All packed into a neat box. The area is lovely and the staff were so accommodating to us. Reccomdended!

The only issue we had was the radiator in the living are was jammed on full. We spoke to a member of staff who immediately came to our room to see if he could sort it out. He could not but said he would report this to maintenance the next day. Beautifully maintained pub and inn, east to reach from nearby motorway, friendly staff, lovely well-appointed room. Wish breakfast was included, as there are no nearby options.

Absolutely amazing stay at the Bell. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and professionalism. The room was cosy, but completely adequate overlooking the green. I have to extend a massive thank you to the kitchen staff who cooked us the amazing meal.( my steak was cooked just perfect!)

Excellent stay apart from 2 things! 1 the WiFi was rubbish and 2 when I booked it said breakfast included and then on arrival I was informed breakfast was not included and they had been trying to remove it!

I was very impressed with the size of room. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The food in the pub was great quality and good price.

Reasonably nice room with adequate bathroom at a rural site outside Gloucester. Its restaurant was decent. Lots of free parking! Room was very hot, though, and no fan, making sleeping there difficult (kept waking up sweating).

Stayed here for a wedding, room was small but clean. You could feel the bed springs on your back when you laid down and the bed was a bit small. Understood they had breakfast included, but they don't serve breakfast. Staff was lovely and very accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Bell. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and everything we needed. It had a kitchen which was very well equipped. The view was wonderful across the green. The staff were helpful. We had a lovely meal on the first night and a gorgeous roast dinner in the garden on the Sunday. Very well placed for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend.

The property is located in a fabulous area with lots of outdoor seating,the pub is great as was the meal that my wife and I ate.We received a warm friendly welcome and the staff continued to be friendly and helpful my issue was the fact that I got very little sleep because the noise from the fridge was horrendous and I couldn’t switch it off because I couldn’t find the switch which I assumed was behind the fridge which was fitted into a unit.It was also not possible to contact anyone because being a pub not a hotel there’s was no night staff. I did send them a message on several occasions during the night for them to get back to me later but so far they haven’t bothered.

Parking was great, nice room, staff were friendly, but for £123.60 we would expect a cooked breakfast, not a couple of Coissants yogurt and juice left in the fridge, Especially when the room was in a pub which serves food,
