Good hotel in a great location only a few minutes walk from shops, markets, bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a rooftop pool and bar. Happy hour every day in pool bar (half price drinks) I would recommend this hotel

The spa massage was average for the cost. The bed was comfy and there were no annoying lights in the room. The pool top was nice & the coffee shop was great along with dessert!

Great hotel with lovely rooms and really gentle , helpful staff. The pool was bliss after a hot day out and we were treated to a display by 2 hornbillls, fed by the man at the pool. The location was good too. A short Tuctuc to Riverside and many other attractions.

High expectations when we arrived as Gold VIP members with perks. The front desk could not even find our reservation and after they found it after waiting in the awfully hot environment, they were not aware of any VIP privilege for us. We had the spell it out but any way, we were not accorded and neither did we use any of the privileges except breakfasts.The lobby was stuffy and hot as the ac in the lobby as well as the buffet area was almost non existent. AC in the room was good though. We were in our first assigned room for 2-3 nights and then the entire room started to smell of sewerage. We informed the hotel and maintenance came to rectify the situation by spraying deodarants. Next day, there was a heavy downpour and when we returned, not only did the room smell of sewerage again, but the writing desk was all wet from leaking from the ceiling. Our important papers were ruined. The hotel then changed our room to another similar one on another floor. Buffet breakfast was alright, not great. But the atmosphere daily in the breakfast room was like a sauna and even after complaints on the heat, nothing was done. The furniture in the room was also rather dated and in our first room, the water pressure was low. Overall, I would not stay here again. There are many other better options in Phnom Penh at the same or lower price bracket. I should not have been taken in by the VIP exclusives promotion for Hotels.com gold members.

The hotel was lovely and we rrally liked our room ( we upgraded to a suite). The staff in the hotel were friendly. The pool area was good and was quiet each time we went up. The pool itself would benefit drom being fitered every day. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Staff were great, always with a smile and very helpful. Consistently had a 'good morning', greeting. Great breakfast and good gym facilities (could be updated but decent for this region). Pool was also really nice. We asked for a later check out and we're told this was no problem and no charge - massive bonus. Would recommend.

Beautiful, clean hotel. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The pool is off the 8th floor on the roof and is lovely. You can still hear some street noise in the pool because the city can be loud, but with the background music it was fairly serene. The restaurant was delicious. We dined there for breakfast as well as a few dinners. Good selection of western and authentic Khmer dishes.

The G Mekong was a good place to stay for our first trip to Cambodia and to Phnom Penh. It is well positioned and relatively close to a lot of attractions in the city. Nothing is too far to work or get a tuk tuk to. The hotel itself has some super features - a lovely lobby, a brilliant rooftop pool and sun deck with bar, and a good gym too. The restaurant on the ground floor also was good value. Our issues were with the room. While the bed was comfy (the main thing to consider!), the bathroom was grubby and a leaking pipe meant that the bathroom floor was always wet. This led to an annoying dripping noise at night and a musty smell. We raised this with the reception desk when we arrived and housekeeping assured us that it was just the air con exhaust pipe and the water was normal. That may have been the case but it just made the bathroom feel unclean. We were lucky to get a window in the room but didn't manage to get much natural light as our view was out into a chute-like space with windows and fan units. Overall, there were positives of the place but if you want to feel clean and like a bright room, I would look elsewhere.

Very clean and spatious room in a hotel with a lot of amenities! The staff was really welcoming and helpful! Even though there was a problem with the booking when we arrived, they were very accommodating and managed to solve the problem quickly. We got a free room upgrade but it was on the smoking rooms floor so it smelled in the corridor but fortunately not in our room.

Beautiful interior design and very nice pool rooftop area with great view of the city. The breakfast is just average, but the rooms are comfortable and very clean. Overall, a nice good looking hotel, perfect for a stay in PP.

Everything was good here. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The only thing they need to step up is cleanliness. When walking to the elevator someone had left a glass nearby a post. It was there for two days, and wipe down the counter tops in rooms, but overall a good value and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Es startet mit durchschnittlichen 5-Sternen ++ sehr schöne Lobby & Restaurant. + freundliches & hilfsbereites Personal, die Angestellten geben sich sehr Mühe. + Frühstück ist in Ordnung. + gute Lage, man ist überall sehr schnell - - Im Zimmer ist es sehr Laut. Die Klimaanlage hört man auch noch, wenn sie abgeschaltet ist - wahrscheinlich die Belüftung von anderen Räumen. Auch den Ventilator auf der Toilette hört man ständig. Neben dem Zimmer war ein Service-Raum von dem man auch Lärmemissionen hörte. Schallisolation zum Flur ist auch schlecht. Eigentlich hört man überall irgendwelche Geräusche. Selbst mit Ohrenstöpsel war es sehr mühsam zu schlafen. Ich weiss allerdings nicht ob das in jedem Zimmer so ist. Von anderen Zimmern oder Verkehr habe ich nichts gehört - hatte allerdings auch keines zur Strasse. - Pool-Bereich sieht auf den Fotos besser und schöner aus als er in Wirklichkeit ist. - überteuertes Essen meiner Meinung nach. - das Bett war nicht sauber und ich hatte es erst am nächsten Tag gesehen. Hatte lange schwarze Haare drin und ein Fleck. Allerdings kann ich nicht glauben, dass das öfters vorkommt, weil eigentlich ist alles sehr sauber. Nach der Reklamation wurde alles zügig gewechselt und dann war es auch sauber. Fazit: 5 von 10 Sternen. Wäre das mit dem Lärm im Zimmer nicht, würde ich sagen ist es ein guter Deal in diesem Hotel zu übernachten.

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits dans cet hôtel de centre ville Le personnel comme toujours au Cambodge est courtois, ayant toujours envie de rendre service Nous avions une chambre double standard L’odeur de cigarette était forte bien que ce soit interdit, même chose dans les couloirs d’accès La salle de bain n’était pas très propre (des traces de rouille sur la tuyauterie) La piscine bien que jolie n’était pas non plus mise en valeur ( trop de déchets sous les transats) Sinon pas de bruit A mon avis des efforts sur la propreté sont à faire Un hôtel quelle que soit sa catégorie doit l’offrir à ses clients

At first glimpse the room and service is amazing, especially at the entrance. But you can feel that the hotel has a certain age ( pool and bathroom wasn’t super clean), and in 5 days they never changed our sheets. Plus the laundry service is particularly expensive compare to all the other similar category of hotel in cambodia (pay per items instead of per kg).

Hotel looks recently renovated and clean. Some of the furnishings and fixtures are showing signs of wear and tear and could use some refurbishing, but everything else looks well maintained. Staff reception are very kind and speak fluent English. Housekeeping and restaurant staff struggle with English, but they try their best and are friendly - Lobby off the main road is current under renovation, so you have to enter at the back and walk through their restaurant to a makeshift reception desk - I received a coupon to use at the restaurant, but it’s still quite expensive even with the discount for what you get. Not worth it IMO - Room quite spacious. Bed a bit stiff, but still comfortable - Good air con to cool the room - Machines in the gym were okay. A few dumbbells were nice to have - Pool looks nice and clean, but didn’t use - Clean kettle with coffee, tea, and water bottles provided. Cups looked a bit dirty though - Towels and bed sheets in great condition - Housekeeping tend to forget to replenish some items - Good and stable WiFi - Flip-flops provided - Bedside power ports Overall decent value

Property was a little old ,hall way was dark and my bathtub faucet (hot) wasn’t working properly. The hot water was very low coming out of the faucet. It would probably take 8 hours to fill the tub. So I didn’t use it

My stay at G Mekong was pretty average. No one really came/ offered to help me with my bags upon arrival. Check-in was pretty efficient with a friendly receptionist but I was given a room with NO WINDOW. The images shown were only for 1 side of the hotel. This for me was false advertising. Furthermore, the facilities in my room were pretty shabby compared to my friend’s junior suite in the same hotel. The hairdryer holder was falling off the wall, the were sediments in the sink and the shower knob indicating hot/ cold was also installed the opposite way. These were not apparent in the my friend’s suite that looked more well maintained. It was details like that that let the hotel down. Redeeming qualities for the hotel were the kind staff, the beautiful reception and it was good value for money. I might stay there again with proper improvements made but I will definitely be asking for a room with windows.

Es startet mit durchschnittlichen 5-Sternen ++ sehr schöne Lobby & Restaurant. + freundliches & hilfsbereites Personal, die Angestellten geben sich sehr Mühe. + Frühstück ist in Ordnung. + gute Lage, man ist überall sehr schnell - - Im Zimmer ist es sehr Laut. Die Klimaanlage hört man auch noch, wenn sie abgeschaltet ist - wahrscheinlich die Belüftung von anderen Räumen. Auch den Ventilator auf der Toilette hört man ständig. Neben dem Zimmer war ein Service-Raum von dem man auch Lärmemissionen hörte. Schallisolation zum Flur ist auch schlecht. Eigentlich hört man überall irgendwelche Geräusche. Selbst mit Ohrenstöpsel war es sehr mühsam zu schlafen. Ich weiss allerdings nicht ob das in jedem Zimmer so ist. Von anderen Zimmern oder Verkehr habe ich nichts gehört - hatte allerdings auch keines zur Strasse. - Pool-Bereich sieht auf den Fotos besser und schöner aus als er in Wirklichkeit ist. - überteuertes Essen meiner Meinung nach. - das Bett war nicht sauber und ich hatte es erst am nächsten Tag gesehen. Hatte lange schwarze Haare drin und ein Fleck. Allerdings kann ich nicht glauben, dass das öfters vorkommt, weil eigentlich ist alles sehr sauber. Hotel looks recently renovated and clean. Some of the furnishings and fixtures are showing signs of wear and tear and could use some refurbishing, but everything else looks well maintained. Staff reception are very kind and speak fluent English. Housekeeping and restaurant staff struggle with English, but they try their best and are friendly - Lobby off the main road is current under renovation, so you have to enter at the back and walk through their restaurant to a makeshift reception desk - I received a coupon to use at the restaurant, but it’s still quite expensive even with the discount for what you get. Not worth it IMO - Room quite spacious. Bed a bit stiff, but still comfortable - Good air con to cool the room - Machines in the gym were okay. A few dumbbells were nice to have - Pool looks nice and clean, but didn’t use - Clean kettle with coffee, tea, and water bottles provided. The hotel is pretty new and because of this it’s good in shape. But the air conditioning was not on or not working on the floors and in the elevator so it was very uncomfortable going upstairs to the room on the 8th floor to the room. The guys working there when I arrived told me that they are pretty new working there and could not answer some questions I have had about the place and the area around. At the pool I took 2 towels and I was told that only 1 is allowed per person.🙁👎 WHAT???

High expectations when we arrived as Gold VIP members with perks. The front desk could not even find our reservation and after they found it after waiting in the awfully hot environment, they were not aware of any VIP privilege for us. We had the spell it out but any way, we were not accorded and neither did we use any of the privileges except breakfasts.The lobby was stuffy and hot as the ac in the lobby as well as the buffet area was almost non existent. AC in the room was good though. We were in our first assigned room for 2-3 nights and then the entire room started to smell of sewerage. We informed the hotel and maintenance came to rectify the situation by spraying deodarants. Next day, there was a heavy downpour and when we returned, not only did the room smell of sewerage again, but the writing desk was all wet from leaking from the ceiling. Our important papers were ruined. The hotel then changed our room to another similar one on another floor. Buffet breakfast was alright, not great. But the atmosphere daily in the breakfast room was like a sauna and even after complaints on the heat, nothing was done. The furniture in the room was also rather dated and in our first room, the water pressure was low. Overall, I would not stay here again. There are many other better options in Phnom Penh at the same or lower price bracket. I should not have been taken in by the VIP exclusives promotion for Hotels.com gold members.

Our second time staying there. We love it. Especially the help of Dom. Whatever we needed he made sure we get it. Checking in the second time was fast but the room wasn’t ready yet, so we had to wait. They said it will be done in 10 minutes. We waited for about 30. After receiving they key to the room we made our way up, ready to refresh ourselves ( we had a long day traveling from Battambang back to Phnom Penh) So as we got to our room opened the door and room was a mess. It wasn’t done. March my way back home and to the receptionist. She apologized and got on the walker right away, we said that it was ok, that we’ll grab some food at the restaurant while we wait again. She keep apologizing. As we sat down eating another person a trainee came to us and gave us our room key. That was only downfall we had staying there. As for the food… We’re do I begin. Ughh it was delicious. Dom worked at the restaurant durning the day/ lunch then bar upstairs at the pool. He is such a hardworking guy. Who truly cares for the guest.

Staff were great, always with a smile and very helpful. Consistently had a 'good morning', greeting. Great breakfast and good gym facilities (could be updated but decent for this region). Pool was also really nice. We asked for a later check out and we're told this was no problem and no charge - massive bonus. Would recommend.

This property has a beautiful Cambodian flair. Although most of the staff do not speak much English, they still are very helpful. The café downstairs makes delicious coffee and offers baked goods. There’s a restaurant on site with delicious food. The rooftop pool is wonderful. For being right in the middle of a busy roadway, the hotel is very quiet. It is a couple of kilometers to the Riverwalk, and easy enough to get a tuk tuk ride for $1.25 through the Grab app or Pass app.

This place was great. Rooms were set up well, clean, maintianed daily and there was a reagaurant and coffee shop on the ground floor. Easy access to multiple ATMs, restaurants etc, all within walking distance, but far enough away to be out of the busy areas.

The area around the hotel is normal Asia chaos and noise. This hotel gives you a break from that. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the restaurant. Food was good. Location is also very good. A 10 minute Grab gets you most tourist areas. And btw book a Grab tuktuk don't get one off the street. Grab is way cheaper and more reliable and they won't hassle you for tours and stuff. Stay here!

This hotel is a lovely haven in a hot and bustling city. The decor is nice and modern and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool area was great to cool off. I also used the gym, although some of the machines weren’t working, there were only very heavy weights, and no towels or water in there, so it wasn’t ideal. My only other complaint is that the breakfast was terrible. The majority of the buffet contained meat, and what didn’t was either mushy fruit or stale bread. Not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. I would stay here again as it’s well located and nice otherwise, but I would try to get an option where the breakfast isn’t included because it wasn’t worth it.

Loved my stay at the G Mekong hotel. Everyone was extremely nice and always willing to assist in anyway possible. It’s walking distance to the Royal Palace, river and orussey market. The area feels safe, but at night, when most business are closed, it’s better to use a tuk tuk. The restaurant and coffee place offer a large variety of options at a very reasonable price.

Splendide Hotel, accueil charmant, juste un hic le restaurant, nourriture, vraiment très moyenne, petit déjeuner très moyen margarine à la place du beurre c’est mon entourage. Sinon cela aurai était plus que parfait.

Es startet mit durchschnittlichen 5-Sternen ++ sehr schöne Lobby & Restaurant. + freundliches & hilfsbereites Personal, die Angestellten geben sich sehr Mühe. + Frühstück ist in Ordnung. + gute Lage, man ist überall sehr schnell - - Im Zimmer ist es sehr Laut. Die Klimaanlage hört man auch noch, wenn sie abgeschaltet ist - wahrscheinlich die Belüftung von anderen Räumen. Auch den Ventilator auf der Toilette hört man ständig. Neben dem Zimmer war ein Service-Raum von dem man auch Lärmemissionen hörte. Schallisolation zum Flur ist auch schlecht. Eigentlich hört man überall irgendwelche Geräusche. Selbst mit Ohrenstöpsel war es sehr mühsam zu schlafen. Ich weiss allerdings nicht ob das in jedem Zimmer so ist. Von anderen Zimmern oder Verkehr habe ich nichts gehört - hatte allerdings auch keines zur Strasse. - Pool-Bereich sieht auf den Fotos besser und schöner aus als er in Wirklichkeit ist. - überteuertes Essen meiner Meinung nach. - das Bett war nicht sauber und ich hatte es erst am nächsten Tag gesehen. Hatte lange schwarze Haare drin und ein Fleck. Allerdings kann ich nicht glauben, dass das öfters vorkommt, weil eigentlich ist alles sehr sauber. Nach der Reklamation wurde alles zügig gewechselt und dann war es auch sauber. Fazit: 5 von 10 Sternen. Wäre das mit dem Lärm im Zimmer nicht, würde ich sagen ist es ein guter Deal in diesem Hotel zu übernachten.

We ended up booking this hotel 3 times as we passed through to another destination. It was very nice with a great breakfast. The rooftop pool was nice to hang out. The cost was very reasonable.

Located on the main road, about 30-40 mins taxi from the airport. Room is spacious and clean. Have its own restaurant onsite or at least connected to the hotel with really good reviews and good tasting food. Breakfast was ok, a bit small, and simple. If you like coffee, there’s a coffee shop right across from the restaurant.

Beautiful, clean hotel. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The pool is off the 8th floor on the roof and is lovely. You can still hear some street noise in the pool because the city can be loud, but with the background music it was fairly serene. The restaurant was delicious. We dined there for breakfast as well as a few dinners. Good selection of western and authentic Khmer dishes.

My stay at G Mekong was pretty average. No one really came/ offered to help me with my bags upon arrival. Check-in was pretty efficient with a friendly receptionist but I was given a room with NO WINDOW. The images shown were only for 1 side of the hotel. This for me was false advertising. Furthermore, the facilities in my room were pretty shabby compared to my friend’s junior suite in the same hotel. The hairdryer holder was falling off the wall, the were sediments in the sink and the shower knob indicating hot/ cold was also installed the opposite way. These were not apparent in the my friend’s suite that looked more well maintained. It was details like that that let the hotel down. Redeeming qualities for the hotel were the kind staff, the beautiful reception and it was good value for money. I might stay there again with proper improvements made but I will definitely be asking for a room with windows.

Fantastic pool, with food service available as well, lovely huge concrete sink in bathroom, hallways were tastefully decorated, Mr. Kim in the lobby was a massive help arranging transportation for us.

Happy with our stay at G Mekong. Team were friendly and helpful. Room was great. Didn’t really enjoy the breakfast selection, but that’s a personal preference. Close to some good restaurants.
