A beautiful, quiet oasis very close to town. Staff was very attentive and welcoming. Right on the water, gorgeous views. The pools were great. We absolutely loved our stay here, highly recommend it.

Cadlao has two different pools, both of which blend seamlessly into the beautiful backdrop of El Nido. The property is stunning, located directly on the beach so you can walk on the beach to the tourist area in the morning during low tide. The restaurant was phenomenal, and the bar made a truly delicious calamansi mojito. Despite arriving fairly late in the evening, we were greeted by the property manager with a virgin cocktail, and attentive staff who were quick to make sure our heavy bags were delivered to our rooms without our having to lug them around ourselves. I loved our stay, and would absolutely come back. However- some points to note: 1) they are an eco-friendly resort, so they reduce power consumption during certain hours, but they also have a generator to keep the fan and lights on 2) during high tide, at night, you have to be able to find your way through the winding back streets of the local neighborhood because the water will cover the beach entirely and you won’t be able to access the resort that way. It’s very easy to learn the route, but it’s worth noting if your vacation goal is to drink to the point of not remembering how to get back home

Beautiful beachfront hotel with a restaurant, spa, and 3 pools. Included breakfast is a buffet and hot made to order food which was delcious. Parts of the buffet changed daily which was nice since we had a longer stay. They also include a free tuktuk ride to downtown which is where tours usually start. They also have a black cat named Ursula they have adopted onto the property who is very friendly. There was also a beautiful and friendly orange and white stray cat that visited me everyday i was there and sometimes slept on my porch. Hopefully he stays around and they will take care of him like they take good care of Ursula

A beautiful well taken care off small resort just outside nido town. We had a fantastic stay in a calm and relaxing setting. Stand outs were the staff. The free tuk tuk service was very reliable (it's also a nice 15 mins walk on the beach into town (at lower tide). Happy hour with beautiful sunset views, great food at th restaurant, fantastic massages at the spa. Wifi worked well and rooms while not very large were well designed. Only small niggle - there was no conditioner provided. We would come back and highly recommend the place!

Wonderful stay! Peaceful and serene. Away from busy town center. Three pools and SPA were nice to enjoy. Best of all was the views and the restaurant. Buffet breakfast and ala carte ordering were complimentary and provided an excellent choice of local foods and western dishes. Fresh healthy shots, juices and shakes were super delicious. Staff were friendly and made our room each day. Across the street was the tour company recommended and tour A with Albert was excellent!!! Town center was a complimentary tuk tuk ride away. Hotel transport to and from airport is available for a small charge. We beach hopped around the island by tuk tuk. Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommend! Thank you for an excellent, relaxing stay.

Lovely resort with the kindest staff. The resort has 3 general areas, each with its own pool. The restaurant, Jinjer, is a standout and served some of the best Filipino food I’ve ever had - and I’m Filipino! It is elevated Filipino food that is really great. Loved the spa too. And the free tuk tuks to town were a great touch. Highly recommend

We checked into this hotel and stayed in the third section with the third pool and it was an amazing room and a very calm and low-key swimming pool. We were staying there for several days and then upgraded to an oceanfront Villa with the most amazing view and in front of the middle pool which was more popular. One of our flights was canceled and we had to stay one more night which was 6 in total and we stayed in a garden view room and that was just as nice. The resort was very nice, they have a trike that can take you almost to town and can pick you up as well. It's a nice walk. If you don't want to take the trike. They have a good breakfast. Highly recommend! Staff were extremely accommodating, bar and food was great including the complimentary breakfast. They also offer a free shuttle service to the town and have 3 pools. I would recommend staying here over El Nido town as it is so peaceful but easy to visit the town. Would definitely stay again!

The staff service is unquestionable. Everyone is friendly and hospitable. The rooms are clean and pleasing to the eye. Staffs are very attentive to guests needs and can be messaged 24/7.The road going from and to the property is not the most pleasant but they provide 24/7 transport which really helps. The property is very quiet and relaxing. If you need a place to relax, unwind and just enjoy silence, I recommend this resort!

The resort was stunning. The room was very clean and the restaurant was amazing especially their breakfast spread. The only drawback was the pool in our area (Cadlao 3) was not as inviting as the other pools. Also, there were some decorative features around the property that can potentially store stagnant water which lead to many mosquitoes in the area. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

We just stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect! The rooms and other areas were all so clean and tidy. The restaurant served delicious food and the breakfast had plenty of choice. It’s a great location, just a short walk to El Nido town. We really loved it here and would highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for our lovely stay.

Be forewarned, the beach next to the hotel is not swimmable, it's all rocks. The hotel has a number of pools, one of which is quite nice. Staff was really helpful and considerate. The grounds have good views of the bay, unless they book you into the back area "Cadlao 3" where my room was. My bathroom had a bad odor--like sewage--that became realy noticeable when using the shower or anytime the door was closed. When I brought this to the hotel's attention, their solution was to put in a glade airfreshener to cover it up. The hotel was fully booked, so I was stuck with a gross bathroom for 3 days. Really unfortunate, because otherwise, the hotel was fine.

I recently spent 10 days in Cadlao resort. This is a top notch resort and everything was just perfect. It is well worth the cost. The rooms are spotless. I witnessed the cleaning of the rooms when guest changes took place. They are meticulous and even wipe down the fans and walls. Our daily cleaning was excellent and it was so nice to come back to a spotless and nice smelling room after our days of excursions. The staff are so helpful and go out of their way to make all the guests feel welcome. The food at the resort was very good. From the lavish (included) breakfast to the Al La Carte menu. The property is excellent. I taken some score on cleanliness as the pools felt a bit dirty at times. The staff was generally friendly although I have to take some score out as they made some jokes that I found inappropriate. Very happy with my stay here. Customer service definitely stood out to me; the resort staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The resort is beautiful (amazing view of Cadlao island from the pools and restaurant) and the rooms are clean. Location is a bit far from the town proper, but they offer free tricycle/tuktuk rides to and from town. Loved my stay here and would definitely book with them if I ever travel back to El Nido.

Great stay in Cadlao Resort. We stayed in room Tatlo and had a great view of Cadlao Island from our porch. A TV would be nice. Close to town and easy walk for Island Hopping Tours starting point. Free daily, all you can eat, breakfast was really good. We ate lunch and dinner elsewhere. Free tricycle ride to get closer to town saves 10 minute walk to town. Definitely would stay here again.

Expensive for a very small room. if you don’t book the room with mirrored doors you won’t have any privacy and you’ll need to close the curtains. And you’ll feel claustrophobic and with no view at all. I left during the night and they offered us sandwiches to take away to my trip as I wasn’t having breakfast the day after. Was a nice touch that made the visit worth it. They also helped by booking the tricycle from the hotel to the bus station. I wish I knew about the tricycle free shuttle service before my arrival, as is very difficult to get to the hotel because you need to go through the beach. And some tricycles didn’t want to take us there saying that they cannot go through the beach to drop us. Contract them before your arrival and they will help you.

The hotel staff is lovely, courteous, and pleasant. However, the internet is unbearable and non-functional. The room is nice but basic, definitely not a five-star experience, perhaps a four at best. Overall, it's pleasant but nothing more than that. The food is exceedingly expensive and doesn't really justify the asking price.

I’ll start by saying that our stay was cut short due to the typhoon. We were only able to stay for one night. The staff is so friendly and greet you with an amazing smile. In the short time we had, the grounds were nice and the room was pretty comfortable. Downside, it’s pretty warm in the bathroom and there is no TV (minor problem). We were very disappointed with the bevahior of what we assume was management toward staff. On 2 separate occasions, in front of paying guests, he berated the staff for small errors. It was not professional and left a very bad impression. I can only assume this is not an isolated incident and I hope that this behavior will change in the future for the staff’s sake.

This place was great! The staff were so helpful, welcoming and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the restaurant was good, very convenient! The route to get to the resort can be a bit tricky, but they do offer a Tuk tuk ride, where you’ll be able to get another transportation to your destination. I would highly recommend, the lounging area is very relaxing and the view is wonderful. I will definitely come back ,and I highly recommend for you to visit!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cadlao, the staff were so friendly and everyone looked after me and made me feel very welcome. They assisted with carrying my luggage and booking an airport driver, and they were very responsive on WhatsApp which made me feel safe in case I was out and about and needed assistance. There is also a tuk-tuk that takes you from the hotel into town and back which was great! It was quiet and peaceful at Cadlao and the beds were really comfortable, and the shower water was always warm. The only thing I would have enjoyed that the room didn’t include was a mini fridge to keep my food and drinks refrigerated. The complimentary tea-time and cake at 4pm and then happy hour at 5-6pm was lovely as well. I would love to come stay here in the future!

Not worth the money. Stayed at this resort and was not happy. The food was terrible. Ordered several dishes and to say the least was not impressed. The manager also stated he has received multiple complaints considering the food so they are aware this is an issue. Also there was a miscommunication at the front desk considering transportation and was not happy with how their customer service was. They stated threats were made but if saying that we will speak the truth and give an honest review of OUR experience is a threat then so be it. Also after several conversations with the manager there was still miscommunication regarding a tour and tried to pass the blame on the tour which was not the case. The problem was due to a front desk error of pick up location and point. One employee stated one thing and another was stated something different. They did try to remedy the situation by giving us a complimentary massage or extra day but it was not worth it. Sad to say but for the money was not impressed. The sea front villa was very nice but because of the issue with the food and front desk mishap you would expect more for the price of the accommodations.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the entire staff us so accommodating. Sid greets us when we arrive and I swear he never sleeps. We see him every where and he is so helpful and is truly looking out for his guest. It was it first time in Palawan and we had no worries from transportation to the hotel, getting around town and arriving safe back to the airport. I will definitely be staying here next time.

Cadlao was a welcome oasis after weeks of hard travel. Everyone from the front desk staff to our server Monica in the restaurant provided the most professional customer service conceivable. Free shuttle into the busy little town 24hr a day. Included breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. Must try the coffee jello! Dinner specials changed every night and the presentation and preparation was flawless. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, hot water and strong AC. Can't ask for more. In fact, we changed our travel plans to stay two extra days at Cadlao -- it was that great.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. For starters the food was terrible, from ordered food to the buffet. The customer service was the worst I have seen. The staff at the front desk could not provide clear information and had many different answers to simple questions. For the price of the stay this was definitely not worth it and will not be returning. They tried to over charge for dinner and had to correct them as they could not correctly compute the bill. Foreigners be ware!

Beautiful location. It is a little difficult to get there (no parking) but the hotel send a tricycle to pick up from the main beach. Once you're at the hotel, it's wonderful with pool/bar overlooking the bay. Staff are lovely. Only negative is pricing - everything from food to laundry, spa services etc are significantly more expensive than average.

Amazing views of the Cadlao mountains and pool. The surrounding areas not so: roads goung to were narrow, transportation to and from the citu to resort was free. The beach is not good for walking around in front of the resort. The good was great!

To be clear, this location is probable the best at El Nido, but the beach is horrible. If you wish to swim, you need to take a boat tour. Then you will see great places. The El Nido bay is a harbor, not a good idea to swim in... If you wish an acceptable beach, go the Vanilla Beach.

Staff were friendly and made our room each day. Across the street was the tour company recommended and tour A with Albert was excellent!!! Town center was a complimentary tuk tuk ride away. Hotel transport to and from airport is available for a small charge. We beach hopped around the island by tuk tuk. Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommend! Thank you for an excellent, relaxing stay.

Lovely resort with the kindest staff. The resort has 3 general areas, each with its own pool. The restaurant, Jinjer, is a standout and served some of the best Filipino food I’ve ever had - and I’m Filipino! It is elevated Filipino food that is really great. Loved the spa too. And the free tuk tuks to town were a great touch. Highly recommend

The hotel staff is lovely, courteous, and pleasant. However, the internet is unbearable and non-functional. The room is nice but basic, definitely not a five-star experience, perhaps a four at best. Overall, it's pleasant but nothing more than that. The food is exceedingly expensive and doesn't really justify the asking price.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. For starters the food was terrible, from ordered food to the buffet. The customer service was the worst I have seen. The staff at the front desk could not provide clear information and had many different answers to simple questions. For the price of the stay this was definitely not worth it and will not be returning. They tried to over charge for dinner and had to correct them as they could not correctly compute the bill. Foreigners be ware!

The massage were add bonus. The property was beautiful and breakfast was provided was excellent. Staff was willing to go the extra mile. Happy hour was great and dinning was fantastic.

Fabulous comfy rooms, staff are amazing, food & cocktails are yummy. The perfect place to stay in El Nido!
