The entrance driveway needs to be repaved it's pretty holy

The hotel looked runned down I’m the hallways and the elevator was scary to use.

Room looked newly renovated -furniture & bed were new. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower pressure good. Hotel was quiet. Only problem was that they shut down the elevator because of a loud banging noise it made when operating. We were on the 2nd floor and had a lot of luggage to carry when we checked out. The front desk staff person turned the elevator back on, we pushed a cart full of luggage into it, hit the down button & let the cart ride down by itself. The elevator worked & we pulled the cart out on the ground floor. Front desk person was very nice and helpful.

No working elevator. Got up the stairs and it smelled like marijuana as soon as we walked down the hall. Drapes didn’t close so the streetlights were shining in our face. The lock on our door wasn’t working properly even after the maintenance man changed the battery. Oh, the vending machine was broken as well.

The breakfast was AOK. Problem with phone calls in or.out and no wifi for 1st couple hours early afternoon, was corrected later, staff did best they could with what they had.

We were there when it snowed and while they were quick to plow the parking lot there did not seem to be any salt or sand applied to their steep entry driveway. The waffles for breakfast were delicious.

Nice comfortable room. Nicely decorated and roomy. Large comfortable bathroom. No significant noise even though we were near the lobby. Easy parking. We were on the area for a family event and this was close to where we needed to be. Close to Great Gorge.

The property looks like it needs a little love. I thought the elevator was scary. The noises and the shaking. The hallway was clean but the room shows worn and in need of maintenance. The bedspreads had Stains on them.

We had an overnight stay here. Desk staff was pleasant. Lobby was old and had a stale smell. Water leak by elevator. Room while very dated was fine. Clean and had towels and toiletries. Overall not bad for the cost but definitely needs work.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and air conditioning was effective.

There's NOTHING to like about rodent droppings in your room! My advice sleep in your car!!!!

Not to clean room

Upon arrival at 10pm it took over 15 minutes for reception to check me in. Upon pre paying they assigned a room, the room was filthy. The bed linens were stained but clean. Three of the hand towels had human debris on them and were stacked as if clean. The carpet was beyond stained in at least 5 spots. The walls had mold, paint chipping, and unfinished drywall repair. The toilet and shower room were modernized and worked fine. Sink area was dirty. Carpet cleaning and turn down was not offered cleaned or even vacuumed before or during stay. When day staff was present they were friendly and provided a decent breakfast. The property is dated and they’re clearly cashing in on the looks of the outside. Any motel nearby had cleaner inside rooms. I feel taken for the value and should’ve demanded a refund as no new room was available. I will not be staying here again next time I’m in area.

the whole place smelled bad

The only good thing was our friend Terry, she was very friendly. Otherwise, this is something I don’t want to state but for my fellow travelers, stay away. I was bit by BED BUGS, yep bed bugs. The elevator looked disgusting…. I should not have to see fingerprints smeared of who knows what on the elevator. Brown stains in the hallways. The walls are paper thin, I can hear the tv next door. My first room had unfinished spackling on the walls. Not one employee apologized for the bed bugs. I had evidence with my bites and capture the bag in a bottle. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!

Service was excellent. Room was clean.

The building smelled like sewer gas and made us feel nauseous and sick so we had a hard time sleeping. We reported to the front desk who said they reported it to the owner.

Was an okay stay, not what I expected. Had a strong odor of some sorts in the hallways and then the same smell in the rooms but not as strong. TV speaker seemed like it was ready to blow, limited breakfast bar, beds creeked & not that comfortable.

Very quiet and comfortable. I thing that i didnt like was on the second floor you cant close the drapes and the spot lights shine in through the window at nihht.

The phone in the room didn't work. The bathroom door doesn't shut. We were never notified that they were in the middle of renovations. The walls are PAPER THIN! We only had 1 roll of toilet paper in the room and it was only 1/3 of the roll.

We were pleasantly surprised because we didn't expect this hotel to be as nice as it was. Very clean and the rooms were great. Bonus that it is pet friendly (but we were told that there are bears around the property so beware). Breakfast options were really good and the dark roast coffee was excellent (and I am a coffee snob.) I would have given this a perfect rating BUT (and this is a big but), our room faced the parking lot and the only curtains you are able to close are sheers so I had really bright lights shining in my face all night and slept horribly. If they fixed that then we couldn't recommend this hotel more.

TV OPTIONS NEED TO BE IMPROVED. TOO MANY BUTTONS TO PUSH TO ACTIVATE VIEWING GAVE UP TRYING TO GET IT ON. FAIRLY COMPLICATED

our room was much nicer than i expected based on the building’s appearance, comfy bed, modern furniture, bathroom was meh but for the price i have no complaints at all.

Terrible terrible terrible experience. It’s not even about the hotel not being the prettiest but that lady at the front desk and her disgusting attitude. Absolutely do not recommend. She was extremely rude to us as soon as we walked in to check in, she even told my kids to hush and it was only around 6pm. Was incredibly rude when I asked her to open our door since it locked twice. Not worth the stay!

Property owner/ manager very rude and unaccommodating. A/C unit kept shutting off and was told she would address it in the morning. In town for a wedding and it was a terrible experience. Booked for two nights and only stayed for one. Wouldn’t recommend visiting this part of NJ for more than a few hours.

Friendly staff and clean facility

The day staff is warm and friendly. The overnight lady is rude and angry. My interactions with this person and my family's interactions were not so pleasant. If in fact she is the owner she should not interact with guests. I asked questions and she was clearly annoyed. We did not feel welcomed. We will not be returning.

I booked this hotel for my wedding. I waited over 45min to be checked in, which I was fine with, until I informed the front desk person that it was my wedding. I was told I would have to " clean up any pi$$, vomit or sh!t, myself." Then once in the room, I was called several times once my groomsmen arrived to all meet up and leave for my venue. They questioned them visiting to carpool and wanted to charge me for them. This was such a terrible experience, that I did not return and stay overnight in the room. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I made my reservation online in October, requesting a “Pet friendly room,” as I was to have my dog with me. When the confirmation came, I did not see that specifically a pet friendly room was booked for me, so I then called the hotel, and was told that they did have pet friendly rooms available, and that I would have one. When I arrived at the hotel on Thanksgiving night, with my dog, 150 miles away from home, I was greeted by a very rude clerk who said that I did NOT have a pet friendly room reserved, and that the confirming call I’d made in October was probably to Expedia and not to the hotel. The clerk indicated that she probably did not have a room for me. She then relented somewhat after a bit of a stand off, and said she’d need to see my dog because she was afraid my dog had fleas! (In the process of our conversation, I had handed her a $20 bill, as she’d said I had not been charged for a pet friendly room. It was only after this that she seemed remotely willing to consider letting me check in.) Once she saw the dog, she begrudgingly handed me a room key. Soon after that, my sister checked into the hotel for the room she had reserved. Somehow, during that transaction, the clerk associated her with me (although our names are different), and told my sister negative had a dog with me, and that my sister should NOT allow me to bring my dog into her room. Aside from the fact that neither my sister nor I had any plan to do this, I felt this was a violation of my privacy.

Quick easy check-in, friendly staff and front desk receptionist. Our room was very clean, bed mattress was very comfortable and smelled clean. The microwave and fridge was a good addition to the room. Continental breakfast was served until 10am. Very affordable price for the area.

Great stay close to the mountain

Cozy stay near Mountain Creek resort.

A really decent spot in the mountains if you are in the area for hiking, skiing or other recreation. Not fancy, but kind staff and clean.

Friendly staff and convenient location. Room was cozy with great heat. Definitely booking more stays in the future

It was a convenient and affordable option. The location is really good because it’s just a 8 mins drive from hiking, or local shops/ restaurants.

I enjoyed the property. It was close to the golf.

I stayed here because I love 3 hours away and was going to mountain creek water park. The next day. Its store close to the resort and check in was pretty easy. I like this hotel too because it did provide breakfast. Gps takes you on another route so you have to pay attention when you get close. Other than that… good stay.

Good place to stay if visiting the Mountain Creek area

Nice room for the price. Breakfast is minimal. People are nice.

I like everything ecept the breakfast start time. 630 am seemed odd. 6 wpuld have been much more convenient for me but 7 also made sense.

The breakfast options weren’t great. This day and age so many people are diabetic or have food allergies and there was only hard boiled eggs or one gluten free cereal available for us to eat. I’d hope moving forward they offer more variety and help those of us who face these challenges have better access and be sensitive to others needs

When I arrived the woman at the front desk was very pleasant and made checking in a breeze. The only thing I wish was that there were more options for breakfast. (Ex. Bagel,hard boiled eggs) since all there was was a waffle machine some fruit and granola bars. The waffle was delicious when I did have it. Thank you for a great stay!! Will definitely stay here again next year for the Spartan race weekend
