Boardwalk Resorts at Atlantic Palace

Initially I was skeptical. The parking garage leaves something to be desired. It's a two way drive up and down with really only room for one car, so if two cars are trying to pass it's tight/impossible. There's also no elevator, so with bags or accessibility issues, you've only got stairs or the walk down however many flights you parked up on the driving ramp. We didn't realize there was a little pull-up area for check in, so once we got our parking pass we had to walk all the way back up to the car. I definitely recommend pulling up to the front to unload and check in first. Despite this rocky start, the receptionist was absolutely lovely. Our room was great. We had a fantastic view of Steel Pier. Everything was clean and the kitchen had more than just the basics like a whole knife block, measuring cup, and plenty of utensils, etc. The only down side to our room was there was just one towel and four of us staying. After a long day at the beach we all wanted to shower, but it took about 45 minutes for housekeeping to bring more towels. The only other challenging part of our stay was that we went to use the pool around 10am. It was supposed to open at 9, but at 10 they were still vacuuming and asked us to wait for about 35 minutes. The towels at the pool were damp and there were tons of towels on the rack. We asked for different towels because they were wet and the woman working said it was because they'd just been washed n refused to switch them out, which was just weird.

The hot tub was broken and the “gym” had one weight machine which was very misleading advertising. No bueno. Staff were great and place was clean but the amenities are almost non existent. I won’t be returning.

Too much people for 2 elevators

Elevators were down most of tge weekend. Had to take the stairs from 22fls

No elevator in garage…

Was told by a staff member that guest were not allowed to use the stairs. Elevators took forever which happens when you have 30 floors, but not allowed to use the stairway or have signs pointed towards the stairs is unsafe.

Parking lot is very inconvenient,there’s no way to get to the hotel from the parking lot you have to load and unload your car in the front of hotel park ur car and walk down to front of hotel to get in

Parking was available but so very, very tight.

Parking lot had no elevator very dark at night, not enough lighting! Club across the street, cops was out there, rooms was alright, upgrade the furniture, wouldn't stay there again!!

Parking was in separate garage. You cannot take your luggage by your own to room, need to use hotel's services $. Pool was not open. Overall okay.

Bed was terrible noisy and not comfortable. Room floor was dirty when we came in.

The floors in the rooms need to be cleaned. My feet felt disgusting 10 seconds after walking into the room

I went to a competition for my daughter, the room is ok but the corridors are dirty with a lot of cigarette smell throughout the hotel and inside the elevators, when we check in they ask us to sign a letter saying that we cannot smoke but the entire hotel it stinks of cigarettes and marijuana!

The room has a great ocean view but found rubbish on the carpet.

The place seems dingy and the lighting was dull. The pool area was filthy. You’ll need to pass a lot of drug addicts and homeless people to get to the hotel as they gather a block away so I never felt safe. Not too much interaction with the staff but no issues with them. The only positive thing about the stay was the location of the hotel on the boardwalk and the view of the ocean. This is definitely a 2 star hotel and not 3.5. It definitely was not worth the price I paid for my stay.

The check in process is complicated - leave car and get a parking pass, go park car in crazy tight parking garage that has no elevator. Trudge all your things down 4 flights of stars and then go check in. After you get the list of rules - you then wait forever for an elevator. Room was clean enough, but sofa duct taped together left me wishing we stayed somewhere else. Bathroom light was temperamental at best. Huge bathtub that did not appear very clean so we chose not to touch it - can’t imagine an older person being able to get in and out without difficulty. Surprised it had such high recommendations

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bathtub was moldy and disgusting. Vents full of dust and cobwebs. I had an ocean view room, but the windows were smudged with handprints and covered in film which was definitely on the inside. No washcloths in the room - just 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. I was embarrassed that I brought my guest here.

It was on the boardwalk so close to casinos but the room had sticky stuff all over the table hair on the floor in the shower and tv remote didnt work so just used my phone while in the room, also elevators were sketchy seemed in not great condition but front desk and security were nice though it was ok because its location but def not worth the $400 I paid for the room on New Years Eve.

Sofa sleeper is old and extremely uncomfortable. Shower had no pressure and mold on the doors. Furniture is worn. Stains on the carpet. Dusty tables. It was a real disappointment.

We stayed 2 nights in room 1811, as soon as we walked through the door all you could smell was mold and stale air. The furniture in the living room was from the 80’s, poor condition and uncomfortable. The bed however was very comfortable, that’s the only good thing we can say about the room. The bathroom was full of mold, the air vents were covered in years worth of dust and mold, turned on the jets to the jacuzzi tub and the water instantly turned black. The entire building is in need of a remodel and the housekeeping staff through management need to be fired for the conditions they allow.

Bathroom outlet didn’t work, my girlfriend had to dry her hair in the kitchen. The fridge made noise all night, walls are paper thin, could hear the tv next door to us. The towels for the bathroom are the smallest I’ve ever seen. Last but not least. The room wasn’t ready for us until 4pm! Then they wouldn’t let us check out an hour late.

The view was awesome and loved the rooms kitchen. It was a nice place other than the uncomfortable pullout bed

Rooms was very nice, had everything you would need. The bed was very noisy. The view was great, even on a cloudy day. The elevator was a bit sketchy and kind of slow but overall, great experience.

A Hotel in a great location. Hotel was clean beds were comfortable and beautiful views it’s very spacious it is just not luxurious or extra special. The furniture is worn and the walls are very thin. I would recommend someone stay here but wouldn’t stay here myself again it would be great for families and people needing a lot of space.

Condo-like spacious rooms. Great staff and security. Property is a little outdated but clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! Convenient location, we walked right out to the boardwalk! Super easy to go to the beach, 1 min walk. The outdoor pool was so nice and there is a spa, gym, kids activity room and mini arcade all located on the same floor as the pool. They have a wonderful diner in the front of the hotel leading out to the boardwalk, it's only open for breakfast and lunch though. Close to casinos and carnival. Only downfall is the parking which you have to pay extra for and is a multi level,one way ramp with tight spots. They have an additional lot behind so i suggest parking there instead. Neighborhood looks sketchy but security here is phenomenal and very helpful so you feel 100 percent safe. Definitely will be staying here again!

Everything was just okay , except the view was the best!! The beds were horrible , so uncomfortable. Dents in the bed and sofa bed , I recommend get some new beds and furniture !!

I have stayed at this property every time(5 times)I go to AC. The space go the hotel room is great, allowing for everyone to sleep comfortably. The location on the Boardwalk is great(pretty central to everything my family and I wanted to do).

Our room was pretty clean, though it felt a bit old-fashioned. The furniture and decor had seen slightly better days, but everything was tidy with soaps and shampoos laid out for us. The best part was definitely the view we had. The large windows let us see the Steel Pier and the boardwalk, which were AWESOME. Each morning, we could watch people strolling along the boardwalk. The view of the Steel Pier added a bit of charm to our stay, giving us something to enjoy while we relaxed in our room. The sound of the waves was a constant background noise, which was relaxing. Overall, the combination of a clean room and the pleasant views made our stay very good.

Very clean room. Older property and dated room. However, view of ocean and boardwalk was fantastic and great way to see the sunrise. Comfortable and clean bed. Shower is in a jacuzzi tub and could be hard for some to come in and out. Huge mirror in the shower- might be a plus for some.

The front desk staff member Ramee Tally was friendly, attentive and gracious. The check-in process was super quick and along with our room key, we received a complimentary parking pass. Our suite was 'over the top'. Not only was the room clean and well maintained, the interior was all new, and the view was amazing. I'm in love with the Boardwalk Atlantic Palace and it's staff. Thank you, I will be back

The staff was horrible and very rude. Rooms was ready and they were not able to say when they would be ready. It was 5:30pm so we requested a refund and stayed elsewhere

During my recent stay, I contacted the front desk to request additional towels. The staff member I spoke with was rude and stated that we would need to return our used towels before receiving any clean ones—which I found to be an unreasonable and unsanitary policy. After waiting nearly an hour with no response, I called the front desk again to follow up. It took an additional 20 minutes before we finally received clean towels. The overall attitude and lack of professionalism from the front desk staff were disappointing and unacceptable. This experience negatively impacted our stay and should be addressed to improve future guest service.

The staffs at the front desk when you're talking she's so rud I checked in around 330 PM the big issues I'm so abset with I do understood my checking out was 11AM I asked the front desk I just need 30mnts the person I spoke to on the phone she was rud and she changed me $160 this unbelievably I tried to contact the manager they said not here today I am still keep looking my money back

Showed up at 4 pm for check in, room not ready. 5pm room still not ready. Told unsure when it would be ready. Manager at desk not concerned, said you can check out at 12 (1 hour late) big deal. Wasn’t going to sit around another hour or more waiting. Canceled and left. Surrounding area completely trash. Hotel ok, but nothing else. Shady people hanging out in parking structure. Bad experience all the way around. Will never book here again.

Stayed here for a night while in AC for a concert, and it was the perfect spot. Super convenient location, and the staff was really friendly—including the parking garage clerk and front desk staff. Would definitely stay again!

Staff is just plain rude—couldn’t be bothered trying to resolve simple requests.The rooms are beyond dated—smell like cigarette smoke and lack basic necessities like a shower curtain.The hotel staff did bring one up—but left it up to us to put it on the rod.Basically everyone who works there hates their job and takes it out on the guests.The only people there who was friendly and helpful were the Bellman. Atlantic City is a filthy place and stepping off the boardwalk is down right scary.If you are going to gamble—pick a Casino hotel and don’t leave that building.The gangster element and weed stink on that boardwalk isn’t worth anyone’s time or money.

Hidden gem of AC. The surrounding area on the street side isn't the best but the building itself has 24 hour security, extremely clean rooms and breathtaking views of the ocean. Less than a block walk to the boardwalk.

On the plus side, rooms were good. Nice size. Comfortable. Location was good, right off the beach. A few blocks from steel pier would definitely walk in that direction. While ok, walking towards steel pier is nicer. Other direction kind of sleazy.

Atlantic City is sketchy but the area around Atlantic Palace is loaded with police presence which helped but tells the whole story. The room while clean could use some updating. Room wasn’t ready at 4:30 when we arrived, I told the front desk person that was disappointing. And then magically within a few minutes a room was available! We were only on property overnight so can’t speak for the pool or other facilities. Lacked a bar restaurant or even a place to buy bottled water.

Good location and close to the beach, friendly staff!!

The property premises and our room was in good condition and clean. The bed was comfortable, water in the shower was hot, and the view from our room of the ocean was outstanding. The only drawbacks of this property are such that the elevator situation is drastically out of hand in terms of slowness. It can take 15-20 minutes for an elevator to arrive and take you up or down, and stairs may not be an option if you are hauling luggage. Additionally, the property is located in a rather seedy area just a block or so back, but AC in general suffers from this issue.

This is just a regular hotel that is being redone. It’s also an Airbnb. They were doing time share seminars the weekend we were there. I first found out about it when they called me directly on the room phone. Then I was approached walking on the boardwalk. Then I was told about in the lobby as I was returning and yet again by the same guy literally 5 minutes later.(we only went to check out the onsite restaurant which was closed the whole weekend) Rooms were clean and the big tub was cool. Bed was very comfortable but the furniture was beat up. Parking was easy and the beach is just steps away. They said there was resort activities happening but we couldn’t find them. No coffee, water or tea in the lobby. Not even in the morning.

Would I stay here again? Yes. Just not one for the books! Nothing wrong. Clean. Maybe it’s just an AC vibe. The bed was sub-par. No back support. Pillows ok. Great breakfast at diner on ground floor. Near the boardwalk entrance.

Atlantic Palace rooms are roomie and well equipped. Lovely views of the ocean. Not much in way of amenities small cafe at the back but only open ftom 8am to 4pm. Staff were helpful and friendly. Right on the boardwalk which was great for easy access for a morning or afternoon walk.

I liked that it was on the boardwalk. I didn't like that there weren't casinos nearby...I'm older and in that heat long walks weren't a good idea. I didn't like the the steam room was out of order, and even it it wasn't, it was in the spa and there would have been a charge to use it. I didn't like that their website said breakfast was available in the hotel and it wasn't.

Pros: Location of the property is good and right on the board walk. We stayed in a ocean view room, the view was very good. Shops, arcades near by the hotel. Cons: No complementary breakfast though the rent was pretty higher. No stationaries available for urgent needs. Ex: They did not even have a tooth paste.

The room was clean & modern…would’ve liked some dining options within the facility…staff was friendly & helpful…we would stay here again

Easy check in, can walk the boardwalk, hit the casinos and relax on the beach! All employees we came in contact with were extremely pleasant and "My Friends Diner" had amazing service and food!!!!
