Two large pools, well planned, one extra for kids, directly at the beach. No beach merchants, calm and polite personnel. Family friendly, per friendly! Overall a clean hotel with dining options. Relatively separated from the ’city’ thus use a taxi or just rely on the onsite services.

Överlag bra. Dock borde de köpa in fler solstolar. Blir stressigt att jaga stolar på morgonen. Vill man ha ett lyxigt hotell första dagarna i Thailand är det super. Men kanske inte det genuinaste i Thailand. Mer clean och lyxigt. Lite bedagat men ingen fara än så länge.

This hotel is quite large. It is set in a quiet area with really no where to go. The beach is nice and walkable. I think for Thailand the meal and drink prices are high. We only drank during happy hour in the lounge but there are several options at different bars throughout the property. I can’t say enough about the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay the best. I think the hotel needs to put a little more effort into maintenance. Windows need cleaning, tile around the pool next to the Fish Bar needs to be fixed. Tile around this pool also needed a good clean. Housekeeping was great even a night turn down service. Our balcony door screeched when we opened it. Brought that to the attention of maintenance but nothing was done. Also, bird poop on and around our balcony was disgusting. Something should be done with the large pool next door which I think is attached to the Marriott somehow. It is green and dirty. It just doesn’t look good when looking out your window. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel but maybe for a week at a time as we were there for 2 weeks. The rooms were great, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a large selection of food. There are 2 very large pools with nice loungers and beach towels. If you just want to relax this definitely fits the bill.

We LOVE the Marriott Rayong, and have been going for years, but this is the 2nd time visiting that the Lagoon pool (the kids pool with waterslides) has been under construction. We were not informed before our stay that it would be unusable, and because we booked through Hotels.com, the Marriott said they could not change our booking.

Très bel hôtel mais la piscine n etait pas toujours très propre et l hôtel se trouve loin de tout donc obligé de trouver un taxi pour se déplacer et difficile d en obtenir un meme surtout avec GRAB et la nourriture vu que tu es obligé de manger à l hôtel est très chère pour le choix hormis le petit déjeuner

Good things first: Location is really nice, outside area and beach are really nice. Staff are friendly, although slow at times. Bad things: The SMELL, our entire floor smelled damp/moldy, room smelled too, public restrooms smelled moldy/urine. Western food was okay, Thai food was not. The resort is in the middle of nowhere, with no taxis available other than one booked from the hotel, at exuberant prices. That comes with it being a resort type place, they want you to spend every bit of money at the hotel.

Väldigt bra hotel som ligger vid en tråkig och extremt smutsig strand. Plast, fiskedrag mm i massor så man får akta sig väl på stranden. Poolområdet är magiskt så det löste sig ändå. Frukosten är makalös. Tyvärr så lyckas hotellet ej uppfylla önskemål om att beställa taxi till en viss tid trots deposition. Båda gånger så gick det fel och taxin kom 35 samt 47 min sent, inte ok för ett femstjärnigt boende eller något annat för den delen. Gymmet är allt för spartanskt för fem stjärnor. Överlag ett superhotel om man bortser från det påpekande.

Vi hade valt ett lite större hörnrum, och fick högst upp på 11 våningen. Fantastisk utsikt över havet och solnedgången, men saknades möbler och bord på den relativt stora balkongen. Vi bar själva ut ett litet soffbord och fåtöljer från vardagsrummet, så det fixade sig ! Dock var faktiskt en del mygg, även så högt upp. Rummen var vackert dekorerade och välutrustade. Badkaret såg fint ut, men vi använde bara regnduschen. Två rymliga toaletter, var ju bekvämt att ha tillgång till. A/C var tyst och bra inställd, men takfläkten över sängen förstod jag inte hur den skulle kontrolleras. Fick igång den, men nästan omöjlig att få stopp på ! Hotellet är ju inte nybyggt, så slitage på dörrar och väggar fanns ju, men det var välstädat och sängen så underbar. Vi tillbringade stora delar av dagen, vid den enda öppna simbassängen, som inte var så särskilt djup och hade flera konstiga upphöjningar på botten. Servicen och maten där var bra, men fanns BARA en enda toalett !!!! Frukosten var god, och fanns för många olika matkulturer, även om saknade salami till frukostbrödet. Rent och fint, och trevliga personal. Kvällsmat åt vi inte på hotellet, utan valde en strandpromenad till något litet familjärt "seafood" restaurang. Återkommer gärna till ett lite mer lyxigt boende.

Very spacious room but the hotel has seen better days and probably needs a face lift. Having said that the room was very comfortable, everything was in working order and the staff were very friendly and helpful. By far the best part of the hotel was the pool which must have stretched over 100m down to the beach.

Windows need cleaning, tile around the pool next to the Fish Bar needs to be fixed. Tile around this pool also needed a good clean. Housekeeping was great even a night turn down service. Our balcony door screeched when we opened it. Brought that to the attention of maintenance but nothing was done. Also, bird poop on and around our balcony was disgusting. Something should be done with the large pool next door which I think is attached to the Marriott somehow. It is green and dirty. It just doesn’t look good when looking out your window. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel but maybe for a week at a time as we were there for 2 weeks. The rooms were great, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a large selection of food. There are 2 very large pools with nice loungers and beach towels. If you just want to relax this definitely fits the bill.

Fantastic hotel with nice rooms and views. Breakfast buffet among the best we have eaten. Very good for children and different options of pools. However, the children's pool could be a little warmer. If you don't want to stay at the hotel the whole stay, I recommend that you have a car because the hotel is a bit in the middle between other beaches with restaurants.

Vi hade valt ett lite större hörnrum, och fick högst upp på 11 våningen. Fantastisk utsikt över havet och solnedgången, men saknades möbler och bord på den relativt stora balkongen. Vi bar själva ut ett litet soffbord och fåtöljer från vardagsrummet, så det fixade sig ! Dock var faktiskt en del mygg, även så högt upp. Rummen var vackert dekorerade och välutrustade. Badkaret såg fint ut, men vi använde bara regnduschen. Två rymliga toaletter, var ju bekvämt att ha tillgång till. A/C var tyst och bra inställd, men takfläkten över sängen förstod jag inte hur den skulle kontrolleras. Fick igång den, men nästan omöjlig att få stopp på ! Hotellet är ju inte nybyggt, så slitage på dörrar och väggar fanns ju, men det var välstädat och sängen så underbar. Vi tillbringade stora delar av dagen, vid den enda öppna simbassängen, som inte var så särskilt djup och hade flera konstiga upphöjningar på botten. Servicen och maten där var bra, men fanns BARA en enda toalett !!!! Frukosten var god, och fanns för många olika matkulturer, även om saknade salami till frukostbrödet. Rent och fint, och trevliga personal. Kvällsmat åt vi inte på hotellet, utan valde en strandpromenad till något litet familjärt "seafood" restaurang. Återkommer gärna till ett lite mer lyxigt boende.

We had one of the cheaper rooms and on a higher floor and we had great views of the sea from our daybed. The bathroom was nice and the room came with a big bath . Tv options are limited but there is a English movie channel . Great size to the room and felt spacious . The balcony is nice but would benefit from some furniture . The staff are nice , polite and friendly but gosh they are slow ! Väldigt bra hotel som ligger vid en tråkig och extremt smutsig strand. Plast, fiskedrag mm i massor så man får akta sig väl på stranden. Poolområdet är magiskt så det löste sig ändå. Frukosten är makalös. Tyvärr så lyckas hotellet ej uppfylla önskemål om att beställa taxi till en viss tid trots deposition. Båda gånger så gick det fel och taxin kom 35 samt 47 min sent, inte ok för ett femstjärnigt boende eller något annat för den delen. Gymmet är allt för spartanskt för fem stjärnor. Överlag ett superhotel om man bortser från det påpekande.

This hotel is quite large. It is set in a quiet area with really no where to go. The beach is nice and walkable. I think for Thailand the meal and drink prices are high. We only drank during happy hour in the lounge but there are several options at different bars throughout the property. I can’t say enough about the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay the best. I think the hotel needs to put a little more effort into maintenance. Het was allemaal heel goed, behalve het eten. Ontbijt was wel weer heel goed. Als je een taxi in de lobby bestelde, betaal je ook de hoofdprijs. Heel jammer. Helaas kan je vanaf het hotel geen gebruik maken van Grab. Terug weer wel. Best overal ver vandaan. Heerlijk als je even rust wil. Goed zwembad. Fijn strand. En heel lief en behulpzaam personeel.

Underbart hotell om man gillar lugn. Restauranger och massage finns stranden som tyvärr har rätt mycket skräp. Bra frukost på hotellet. Inga problem med solstolar vid poolen. Tyvärr inga affärer inom gångavstånd. Vill man ha lugn och avkoppling är hotellet perfekt.

Værelset var rent og rummeligt. Shampoo og sæbe føltes som god kvalitet med skøn duft. Nogle af faciliteterne trænger til renovering men det er stort og der plads til alle. Kidsclub og børnefaciliteter var rigtig fine. Morgenmaden kæmpe, lidt uoverskuelig, larmende hvis man er der når der er flest. Drinks og mad for dyrt. Happy hour lidt et scam fordi drinksene smager fortyndet. Naborestauranten Mirror Mirror havde gode cocktail, fantastisk kaffe og god mad.

Very large area all the way to the beach. Nicely lined with beautiful trees and flowers and is lit with lightning to take an evening walk around the property. An awesome uncrowded beach with soft white sand and you can walk and take your time to a nice restaurant/bar along the way on the beach. The only disappointment was the food at the salt restaurant in the hotel. The food is horrible. They need to make some changes here. Like fire the chef and hire an experienced chef to straighten out the kitchen. However the food at the fish bar by the beach is fantastic. I ordered the Australian ribeye steak and it was absolutely delicious, probably the best steak I’ve eaten in Thailand. I believe the fish restaurant is privately owned from the hotel. Otherwise everything else at this Marriott hotel is top grade and I would definitely stay here again.

Was exactly as the guide and the photos portrayed. Not a lot to do outside of the hotel grounds but the hotel itself was excellen. The Fishbar was a little expensive but the food was really nice. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break

Stayed a few nights here in total . Really nice and good value mariott and has the look and feel of a lot of Marriott resort properties. We had one of the cheaper rooms and on a higher floor and we had great views of the sea from our daybed. The bathroom was nice and the room came with a big bath . Tv options are limited but there is a English movie channel . Great size to the room and felt spacious . The balcony is nice but would benefit from some furniture . The staff are nice , polite and friendly but gosh they are slow ! The hotel has a really nice feel to it and the staff are delightful to deal with but they take so long to do small tasks. it never felt busy anywhere we went on the resort so I can’t quite understand why The fish bar was nice enough , food was average , wait times 50 minutes for drinks , have to get my own menu that kind of thing which for a lot of thb it needs a rocket up it . Room service breakfast was pretty good overall . You won’t go wrong with the blueberry pancakes Which are delicious. My eggs Benedict turned up stone cold , was tasty but had obviously been left out too long . The coffee is ok and passable . Did love the facilities , the feel for the resort and the excellent room and overall had a great time . Would come back

Très bel hôtel mais la piscine n etait pas toujours très propre et l hôtel se trouve loin de tout donc obligé de trouver un taxi pour se déplacer et difficile d en obtenir un meme surtout avec GRAB et la nourriture vu que tu es obligé de manger à l hôtel est très chère pour le choix hormis le petit déjeuner

Amazing staff! Rooms are great. Overall it could use some renovation and some better cafes that opens earlier to get coffee and so. Besides that we really enjoyed it and will def be back. Most importantly is that the staff are outstanding.

Everything was fine, from the facilities to the environs; everything was as expected from a 5-Star hotel. The family-friendly infinity edge swimming pool is the largest I have ever seen and leads directly to the hotel’s private beach. It even comes with a fun water slider! The breakfast buffet line is extensive and offers all various assortment of food. My only gripe is the outdated and worn out furnishings within the rooms, though livable but can be better. The rooms' smart TVs, though acceptable, can use an upgrade.
