The main could do with being changed. We rolled into the middle and the mattress was not very comfortable.

The cottage did the job- we slept pretty well and had what we needed in the kitchen. It is a very small property and lacked somewhere to hang coats and out outdoor stuff (of which we had lots). And there is no view at all which is frustrating when you know what’s around you. The walk into Ambleside is a short 10 stroll.
