Herbergið var rúmgott, hreint og þægilegt. Baðherbergið líka. Starfsmennirnir voru fínir (þótt fleiri hefðu e.t.v. mátt tala/skilja svolitla íslensku). Morgunverðurinn var ágætur þótt hann væri ekki ýkja flókinn. Í heild er þetta gott hótel, en býsna dýrt.

Check in was incredibly slow. There was one guy checking people in and there was a line and he was really slow and trying to get everyone to pay for dinner and breakfast like he was getting commissions or something. We were in the main hotel and the room was clean although pillows were flat. In the morning, my son woke up with bites all over him - lots of bites. First thought of course was bed bugs. We looked and saw nothing. Turns out it was midges. I have no idea how they got in, because we never touched the window to open it, so either they fly in through the lobby and under the door or the windows don't seal properly. The location is good because you're in a town. It was convenient to be in a town (as opposed to some other guesthouses we stayed at out in the country), as I had to go the only pharmacy in town in the morning for hydrocortisone cream for the bites because he was eaten alive. There is a good rock store close by too - JFS Handcrafts. If the windows sealed properly, I would given a higher rating, as the rooms were fine other than the midges.

En härlig plats likt ett gammalt inn i hamnen. Det var tjusigt att bo och vistas ovanför restaurangen och badrummen var bra för våra ändamål. Rummet var litet men bra nog.
