Fint rum men lite konstig planlösning. Dush, badkar och handfat är bakom en glasvägg och toalett i ett separat litet utrymme med skjutdörr. Väldigt avlång entre och längst ned är sovrummet som är ganska trångt. Valde ett premium rum men till vår besvikelse är det enda fönstret ut mot de andra husen och en mycket "ful yta". Hade trott att premium också skulle ha en trevlig utsikt. Lägg inte pengar på detta rum om ni inte är ok med noll utsikt (gör att det blir mörkt i rummet). Trång hiss men det är det på många hotell i Paris. Bra läge nära 2 tunnelbanestationer. Trist frukost som enkelt skulle kunna göras mycket bättre. Endast rostat bröd och mycket tråkiga småfrallor som inte smakar något. Äggröran var varje dag lika torr och trist samt utan smak. Tråkigt när frukosten enkelt skulle kunna göras bättre med enkla medel. Få bord i frukostmatsalen och trångt där man hämtar frukosten runt en bardisk. Pros: I liked the decor of the hotel. It felt like old Paris. The rooms were clean and more spacious than others in the city at that price point. The staff during the day were very helpful and pleasant. I had a bathroom that had a tub that was luxurious(worth upgrading to). Cons: The man who was at the desk in the evening was brusk, irritable and impatient. The doors to the rooms were very heavy(metal fire doors)and difficult to open with the key. Parking was challenging.

Enjoyed this boutique hotel! So much character and charm. Located on quiet street, rooms are good size with lots of outlets to charge electronics. The bathroom was beautiful and large. There is a lift. Breakfast offered nice variety from pastries to meats and cheeses. Coffee machine made everything from cappuccino to hot chocolate. Staff was super nice and accommodating.

This is a lovely hotel in a great area of Paris for jumping on and off the metro to explore the city with some great restaurants and bakery’s nearby. The hotel room we stayed in was excellent with a huge and comfortable bed and the balcony was an extra bonus on an evening. The only downside of our room was the shower. We had no hook on the wall for the shower head meaning we had to handhold the head to wash ourselves, sending water everywhere and making it a challenge to shower quickly. The hotel lift is tiny (as is often the case with old Paris Hotels) so not suitable for people who are claustrophobic and can’t take the stairs. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and allowed us to leave our cases on leaving day as our train wasn’t until the afternoon. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully in a room with a proper shower!

Stayed 28–31 December 2025. On the first night the room had no heating overnight and no hot water the following morning, during winter conditions in Paris. There were no staff present overnight to assist. The hotel later confirmed in writing that the heating in the room had been turned off. I was verbally promised a refund for that night and a move to a warm room. I was moved to a smaller room to mitigate the situation, but the accommodation on the first night was not fit for purpose. A partial refund was later offered top cover the smaller room, but this did not cover the failure of service on the first night. I was also disappointed by the reception staff on the final day I booked a car to the airport new years eve - timing was essential because of the traffic. The car didnt arrive, they had zero urgency and in the end I ran onto the street with cases in tow and finally hailed down a cab. I also note that they have two hotel buildings and the other building on the 28th had no electricity AT ALL and there were no staff on reception to deal with the customers who had no room and could not be checked in, cold, waiting and generally miserable. I had no heating or hot water and they had no electricity. I was told that in Paris no one refunds. That isn't French law but it's certainly the attitude. Pretty hotel, poor service and communication. It was overall a really poor and costly stay.

I cant accept that this is a 4star hotel.. first of all there was a smell from the carpet like it hasnt been cleaned for long time. Also the shower wasnt clean. But the worst was the bed… bed sheets were dirty and they had brown and light red spots. The worst experience of my life and for sure this is not a 4star hotel. Avoid.

This is a very dated hotel and definitely not 4 star. The bathroom had some type of mold in shower. The shower slanted and water just ran onto floor in bathroom. We stayed for 4 days and room was only cleaned once. The drapes detached by itself from wall. Would NOT recommend this Hotel

The check in staff were great, let us get rooms early. But one of the rooms wasnt actually ready when we opened the door (unmade bed, room needed to be made up). Also, it is very small for what you are paying (maybe that is Paris hotels in general). And the hotel internet didn't actually give us internet access (we accessed WiFi using the signal from a hotel across the street).

Location was great. Close to 2 metro stations, bakeries and bistros. Room had adequate storage and space. Only things to note: - Bathroom had the usual lotion, body wash and shampoo, but did not have conditioner. - Bathroom door is saloon style (split in the middle and swings both ways) which was good for space purposes. However, the doors don't actually meet in the middle. There's a 1cm gap, so privacy could be a concern. - There also isn't any vents/fans/window in the bathroom so all the steam/smell goes back to the bedroom.

I would stay at the property again. I chose it because it wasn’t immediately in the tourist area of the city. It was about a 25-minute walk to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The staff were very friendly. I had the best sleep! The bed was VERY comfy. The only adjustment was the AC. It did not blow very cool in my room but I would choose to stay again.

Fint rum men lite konstig planlösning. Dush, badkar och handfat är bakom en glasvägg och toalett i ett separat litet utrymme med skjutdörr. Väldigt avlång entre och längst ned är sovrummet som är ganska trångt. Valde ett premium rum men till vår besvikelse är det enda fönstret ut mot de andra husen och en mycket "ful yta". Hade trott att premium också skulle ha en trevlig utsikt. Lägg inte pengar på detta rum om ni inte är ok med noll utsikt (gör att det blir mörkt i rummet). Trång hiss men det är det på många hotell i Paris. Bra läge nära 2 tunnelbanestationer. Trist frukost som enkelt skulle kunna göras mycket bättre. Very nice hotel. Area was good, but not great. Not unsafe, but a bit removed from areas we wanted to visit. Shower in our bathroom only had a handheld sprayer, which wasn’t ideal. Bathroom was otherwise very nice.

Wonderful welcome from friendly staff, clean, large & comfortable beds, nice clean large bathroom. Staff was also very helpful with suggestions for Paris. Good location and near Metro & RER Train stations. I can highly recommend and will definitely stay here on our next trip to Paris

La ubicación es buena, pero el personal… Tuvimos una situación en la que insinuaron que intentábamos tener a 10 personas en 4 habitaciones dobles, cuando en realidad twníamos cinco reservaciones, cada una para dos personas. Creo que en lugar de preguntar de forma descortés, pudieron haber verificado en su sistema nuestras reservaciones. En nuestra habitación el agua salía por la regadera de mano, más no por la de arriba, por lo que tenía que bañarme sosteniendo la regadera de mano o jalando el botón constantemente para que saliera por arriba. El cuarto baño se inundó por un golpe de presión de aragua, por lo que tuve que usar las toallas para secarlo y al pedir más toallas el recepcionista me cuestionó el porqué necesitaba más toallas si era mi primer día en el hotel. Necesitan más educación. Por lo demás, la habitación era agradable y el lugar bien ubicado.

Pros: I liked the decor of the hotel. It felt like old Paris. The rooms were clean and more spacious than others in the city at that price point. The staff during the day were very helpful and pleasant. I had a bathroom that had a tub that was luxurious(worth upgrading to). Cons: The man who was at the desk in the evening was brusk, irritable and impatient. The doors to the rooms were very heavy(metal fire doors)and difficult to open with the key. Parking was challenging.

Stayed 28–31 December 2025. On the first night the room had no heating overnight and no hot water the following morning, during winter conditions in Paris. There were no staff present overnight to assist. The hotel later confirmed in writing that the heating in the room had been turned off. I was verbally promised a refund for that night and a move to a warm room. I was moved to a smaller room to mitigate the situation, but the accommodation on the first night was not fit for purpose. A partial refund was later offered top cover the smaller room, but this did not cover the failure of service on the first night. I was also disappointed by the reception staff on the final day I booked a car to the airport new years eve - timing was essential because of the traffic. The car didnt arrive, they had zero urgency and in the end I ran onto the street with cases in tow and finally hailed down a cab. I also note that they have two hotel buildings and the other building on the 28th had no electricity AT ALL and there were no staff on reception to deal with the customers who had no room and could not be checked in, cold, waiting and generally miserable. I had no heating or hot water and they had no electricity. I was told that in Paris no one refunds. That isn't French law but it's certainly the attitude. Pretty hotel, poor service and communication. It was overall a really poor and costly stay.

We had a lovely stay at NewHotel Republique. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. Great neighbourhood too with lots of great restaurants, shopping, cafes, and easy access to the Metro.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à l'hôtel Gabriel! L'hôtel est à quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs stations de métro, donc il est hyper facile de se promener à travers la ville. L'hôtel est à 3 minutes de marche de la place République: restaurants, boutiques, cafés, boulangeries... un plaisir!

This is a small hotel with classic charm in a great location for walking or the metro. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They all spoke English, which was a bonus. Enjoyed this boutique hotel! So much character and charm. Located on quiet street, rooms are good size with lots of outlets to charge electronics. The bathroom was beautiful and large. There is a lift. Breakfast offered nice variety from pastries to meats and cheeses. Coffee machine made everything from cappuccino to hot chocolate. Staff was super nice and accommodating.

There is a lift. Breakfast offered nice variety from pastries to meats and cheeses. Coffee machine made everything from cappuccino to hot chocolate. Staff was super nice and accommodating.

Das Zimmer wsr sehr sauber und hatte die richtige Größe. Gewöhnungsbedürftig war nur, dass man in unserem Zimmer direkt im Bad gelandet ist. Dieses war komplett in schwarz gehalten, was es sehr dunkel erschienen ließ. Insgesamt passte aber alles und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Not a 4 star hotell. Read reviews and order room at your own risk. Was here for 4 nights sat-wed. I ordered the room: Chambre Luxe - Maison Albert on the 6th floor. But this room was in another building than the hotel itself, it was right across the street so not to far away. The hotell itself looks very good, the main floors in both of the building emit and aura of a 4star hotell, but when you start going deeper things change. The breakfast area (which is also in the 2nd part) was very small, lots of tables and chairs to accommodate all the quests, which is good. Elevator which only holds 2 maybe 3 thin people (not with luggage) and it only goes up to 5th floor, and you need to take 1 set of stairs to reach the 6th floor. The coridoors are very thin and crammed. Around 3 rooms on each floor (2 on top floor). The room i got was small, but big enough for just 1 person, huge bathroom, small closet with safe and fridge. Seperate toilet and a huge queen size bed. Smart-Tv with only 5 working french channels (did i even expect more?). However, some major issues was found in the bathroo, open electrical WIRES on the sink and above the tub/shower. - Missing screw randomly laying next to the shower head. - No water preassure in sink or tub. So taking a shower was impossible. - Loose tiles in corners. - Open holes next to mirrors, window, wall and all around the tub. In the corner behind the tub it does not even look cleaned or maintained for the past year. But it's clean. Clean

The new owners, New Hotel Republique have ruined it. The staff is not friendly OR helpful and my room (a premium room) was dark face a wall and I had to go across the street for breakfast at the sister hotel. DO NOT STAY THERE!
