Dish soap provided but no dishes, glasses, utensils or dish towels. No Kleenex. No hangers but they provided some. Facility ice maker broken so had to purchase ice trays. They did bring two coffee mugs. No plastic glasses for around the pool so had to purchase those too and paper towels. Loved decor, new beds, tables, floors and pool furniture. Staff, Tony very good.

Small black hairs all over bed. No ice machine. Key card would not work at 4am. Paid $15 for parking spot & zero avaliable when I arrived. Ran shower for ten minutes to get hot water.

We couldn't actually stay in the room. They were installing water heaters in other rooms from the time we checked in (6pm) until we were attempting to take showers (10pm). That work in other rooms, apparently meant no running water in other rooms. The first few hours, fine, we went to supper... but, there was no water from 9:30-10:30pm, wi-fi was over taxed and was barely useable. Oh, and surprise! $15/day parking fee I learned about at check-in. Be advised that the actual hotel cost isn't quite as advertised. I hope they recover from the hurricane... but I booked two nights, spent less than 2 hours on the property before needing to move to a different hotel with running water and enough quiet to sleep. No one was around at 10:30pm to tell them I was leaving and frustrated (except the workers still using power tools...). I booked a different hotel 6 miles away and finally got to bed after 1am. The next morning, I was given a refund for half of my stay (not all of it). I was shocked they felt this was fair. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was just terrible. I will never consider this property again. Being assured the water would be on in 10 minutes 3 times over 4 hours, only to find it off again 20 minutes later is totally unacceptable. All I wanted was a clean bed, a shower, some sleep, and enough wifi to take my morning conference calls. Clean towels? Clean bed? How was the pool? Beach access? No idea... couldn't stay that long.

Room was remodeled but done poorly. Wires spliced together outside. Cords running up the wall and hung over the mirror. Bathroom was very small and had no storage and we used window to store all of our stuff. Faucets were tricky to get shut completely off. Resort got busy and streaming tv was no longer available. No one to call for assistance so had to wait for staff to arrive the next morning. Was told to use antenna due to "too many people to stream" on the internet service they had. We booked last minute and went with what was available so for that reason it was good. It was clean and pool was great. Within walking distance to restaurants and stores for supplies. Short walk across street to beach.

The room was so called renovated after the hurricane. Black mold on bathroom door, which they tried to paint over, and in grout in shower had mold also. The office explained to me that your website did not charge for parking they did and charged us an extra $15/day to park. I asked about handicapped parking I showed them my sticker and had to pay anyway. No place to put anything not enough outlets. Horrible bed, blanket and pillows I should be refunded.

The room had black mold coming out of the walls and the bathroom was awful. We left after 12 hours when my throat got sore and I started coughing. Bed was like laying on a piece of plywood. The room was advised as newly renovated because of the hurricanes last year. Apparently they just covered up the problem with paint which does not work!

This was a great place to stay. The front desk was friendly and we were able to check in early. The room was clean and tidy. It looked as if it was freshly painted and/or remodeled. It was close to dining. Walking distance to the public access beach. I would stay here again.

This was a nice place and was just remodeled from the hurricane but it was very dirty from the remodel. It seemed no one came in and did a cleanup from the construction crew. A lot of drywall dust in the bathroom that turned into mud after showering. We did enjoy the location, the pool and and the restaurant rright next door!

The manager at the desk was very impatient, curt, rude and loud with me. He seemed overwhelmed and tired. He told me numerous times that i wasn't the only guest & he had been there all day. I tried to explain he could take his time, i could come back later. He was still loud and defensive with me. My neighbors were loud & up all night yelling. There was a great amount of mold & mildew in the shower.

Run! Run!! Run! The place is disgusting and the staff is rude. My wife injured herself walking up a set of stairs and when I asked if the hotel had any medical supplies I was told No and given a frozen water bottle as an ice pack. The room was filthy, there was a used loofa in the shower as well as used bandaids on the bathroom floor. Plenty of better options in the area unless you want to contract some disease.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everytime we left or returned to the room there was the bad smell of smoke both cigarette and pot Exhausting from the room 32 air conditioning. The bathroom was a small closet. The couch was so uncomfortable so is was hard to just relax.

We booked Holiday Isles Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida, through Expedia, trusting its 7.2 "Good" rating and the carefully selected photos on the site. However, the reality was nothing like what was advertised—it felt more like a motel in disrepair than a resort. At $330 per night for three nights, we expected at least basic comfort, but the stay was awful. If we hadn't paid so much it was almost comical. The beds were extremely hard, and the shower never got hot, fluctuating between cold and lukewarm. The bathroom outlet had burn marks, and the outlet near the bed was coming out of the wall, which was a safety hazard. The bedding was stained, and both the bathroom and kitchen were dirty—none of which was shown in the online images. The room was never turned over during our stay, and the towels had iron stains, which added to the overall lack of cleanliness. We understand that the area was affected by a hurricane and that many hotels were working to reopen. However, they should have ensured each room was in acceptable condition before moving on to fix others. Instead, it felt like they rushed to fill bookings without making sure the rooms were actually livable. The condition of the hotel seems to have changed significantly since then, so if you're researching hotels, make sure to check the most recent reviews instead of relying on outdated ratings. Awful. Clearly, Expedia doesn't have quality control.

Upon checking in, the gentleman worker was confrontational with us, didn’t want to accept cash for parking because he thought the owner would think he was ripping him off. The door to our room, no matter what is written back DID NOT lock! We deadbolted it and then someone from outside walked right in. There was NEVER a key needed to get into our room. The couch was horrendously stained. There was a musty smell and the “parking around the back” was questionable at best. Beware of this place there is no refunds given! You book pay and that’s it. Read the reviews and believe the bad ones. They want your money and that’s it! They do not care about their place or your safety. Find somewhere else. If you want a video of us walking through a deadbolted door just ask .

Room was very clean. Pool was right outside and inviting. Beach only 5 minute walk away. Bed was too hard and pillows were like pancakes. Not comfortable. Didn’t care for the fact you had to pay additional for parking in the motel lot.

There was supposed to be no smoking in the rooms, but right outside stunk like cigarettes and weed. The smell would drift into our room. We complained once, but no use. Also, people yelling outside and then the garbage truck came before 0700. The positive was we had a spacious room and the staff were friendly.

Room was remodeled but done poorly. Wires spliced together outside. Cords running up the wall and hung over the mirror. Bathroom was very small and had no storage and we used window to store all of our stuff. Faucets were tricky to get shut completely off. Resort got busy and streaming tv was no longer available. Convenient location. The room was okay, desperately needs upgrading. Forget showers, as the water stays ice cold. The pool isnt heated which was and is a great disappointment. Staff was unfriendly. As a resort worker myself, this place does not add up to resort standards and should not be labeled as a resort.

The staff (Anthony and Joseph) were amazing. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool was refreshing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return!!

The minute they find out your animals are service animals, they don’t ask for documentation, they just say to leave. There are no locks on the windows in the rooms so very unsafe. The manager at the desk was very impatient, curt, rude and loud with me. He seemed overwhelmed and tired. He told me numerous times that i wasn't the only guest & he had been there all day. I tried to explain he could take his time, i could come back later. He was still loud and defensive with me. My neighbors were loud & up all night yelling. There was a great amount of mold & mildew in the shower.

Zero hospitality from staff. They were very rude at check in. Also worth mentioning they advertise free parking through Expedia, but only offer it for those who booked directly through them. The location is great, it's across the street from the beach, restaurants are all around in easy walking distance, pool is kept up. I can't really comment to much on the rooms, because we had the smallest one, but it was efficient, it looks like they put some money in to making the rooms more efficient. All in all it was a great stay, and Anthony at the front desk will take care of your needs. Thank you Holiday Isle!

We enjoyed our stay across the street from the beach in Madeira beach. While the pool and surrounding area was nice I found it inconvenient to have to go back and forth and ring the doorbell at the office and wait to find that I wasn't offering any information about what we could ask for! There was no silverware in the room I didn't know I could ask for it I just assumed there was nothing because there were no glasses nothing and the room was not clean the floor was filthy the bathroom around the sink was filthy and the refrigerator was sturdy! We were staying to go to the beach and we overlooked a lot because we just enjoyed being together however we would not return based on all of that when I told the manager he says you should have said something yesterday I wasn't aware that there would be anything given to me as the gentleman in the office didn't offer and when I went to get towels he said the truck will be it at night at night and I was not going to wait to catch him after the office is closed for laundry!
