Fast, easy check in, clean and safe. Parking was super convenient and very affordable stay. Excellent value for the money.

The pool wasnt opened and no where did they have that posted and my grandkids was very disappointed. This is one anemity they should post their opens and closings. This was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel on memorial day weekend.

Last 2 nights of an 18 day Road Trip - trying to save money - this hotel was by far my least favorite place of about 10 I stayed using Hotels.com. I was sitting in my room, with the door latched and all of the sudden someone (employee / owner) tries to walk in. I didn't like that one bit. I couldn't get the TV to work - turned out - you have to turn it on with one remote and change channels with a 2nd remote - not explained at check-in, Check-in was through a window sliding tray which I find very unfriendly, Room was OK - get what you pay for, Unfortunately for me, I stayed 2 nights - at the end of the 2nd day after about 6 miles of hiking that day I returned to my room - NO WATER - completely shut down - owner said give us 30 minutes, 2 hours later I went to the window (no walk in office) and asked about the water, the guy literally in a raised voice yelled "It's no my fault" I told him it wasn't my fault either, what was I to do - I was 500 miles from home and had already paid - BIG sign NO REFUNDS, the area was fine but I got the impression locals were living there and the pool was used by families not staying at the hotel - just a very, very unpleasant experience, don't understand why this place has received so many positive reviews from hotels.com - I would not recommend it at all

Price was decent considering everyone else jacked up the price of their rooms due to the Oktoberfest in Helen, (9 miles away). Room was very clean. Had to air it out for a couple of hours due to cleaning chemicals. Staff was absolutely excellent and responsive to our wants. Property is very old. Room was large, or it seemed so, but that is primarily due to lack of amenities. No closet or even rack to hang clothes. No luggage stand. Other than the wooden chair by the "desk" or on the bed there wasn\'t any place to sit. No chair, couch, stool, nothing. Had a decent size mini fridge, very small microwave, but no coffee maker. Old time ice machine was just outside our door. Front Office did have a hair dryer for us to use. It\'s on the corner of two main roads so you will get a lot of traffic noise though not intolerable. I would stay again without a problem. There was a swimming pool, but being October, it was closed and the water in it was very green. If you plan on staying with kids, it would be a good idea to make sure it is open. Overall, if it is just a place to sleep it\'s okay but if you plan on spending any me time in the room it\'s not the right place. Please understand that this review is being written by someone used to staying in Candlewood suites type hotels.

Horrible the reception guy had a attitude the sheets were stained they had blood on them and the room was completely not ready then when we asked for another room he got mad at the end he gave us another room and he told us if we left a minute after ten he would charge us for another day the ceiling was full of fungus do not recommend this hotel at all!

The room was basic but clean. Would have been nice to have a small table with two chairs to sit at to eat or play a game. There was room for one. There was an ironing board that we used to put some of our luggage on but we never saw an iron. No big deal. We had a small problem with the TV and remote but, the office provided us with new batteries. Still had a problem when the remote wouldn't change the channels or pull up the guide. We were leaving in the morning so we weren't worried about it. When we turned the TV on in the morning it had reset its self and went back to normal. The room didn't have a hair dryer but the office had one to loan us while we were there. They also extended our check out time due to my wife not feeling well. There were several places close by to eat and a large grocery store across the street with a gas station to fill up for the next leg of our trip. Overall we had a nice stay for a good price.

Bathrooms haven’t been cleaned for a long time, hairs in the bath tub.Disgusting

I saw 2 roaches and the bed cover didn't appear to be clean. I hate writing bad reviews but I felt it was necessary and I hope hotel management does something about it.

The room was dirty and smelly, the dresser was scratched up like someone had a room full of dogs or cats that liked to scratch on furniture.

It's a $60.00 a night motel. You get what you pay for. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was small. Cleanliness was okay, but I think the age of the place gave it the illusion of being slightly on the dirty side. Checkout was 10am, not 11am as posted on the sight. It's good enough for a one night lay over on your way to somehwere else.

For the price and how close it was to Helen it was a good deal. I was there after Christmas when everything in Helen was very expensive so it was worth it. We also took a day trip to Dahlonega which wasn’t too far. As far as the room it was basic but good. No complaints for the price point. I could hear loud talking through the wall but I sleep with a white noise app so it didn’t bother me. No good local food choices just basic American. I will stay again.

Couple of minor plumbing issues, but the TV was great. Wife upset there was no coffee, but having a fridge with a nice freezer and a microwave almost made up for it. A/C worked fine but made a funny noise.

Beds are uncomfortable. Pillows are rock hard.

Bed and pillows are very firm. Nothing on the walls except yellow paint, no closet or place to hang cloths. They did check my room daily and take out the trash and provide clean towels. Tv and heater worked well. Traffic and be a little noisy but thats not the motels faulty

In Room #105 (One of the few doors that had a sign on it) The Bathroom sink was broken, patched, painted over. Metal drain was rusted. Hot water....barely lukewarm and a low flow compared with the cold water. M Star Cleveland should be bulldozed and made into a parking lot. Avoid it like the Plague!

I like the M-Star in Cleveland and elect to stay there sometimes twice a month. The price is reasonable but it's actually better than most for that price!! The staff is polite and personable and the rooms are VERY clean & smell good. It's quiet and very private and safe feeling.

The guy at the front desk was extremely rude, for no reason. We didn’t ask for anything. We didn’t complain. We were simply checking into the hotel. A different guy, with red hair, checked us out; he was very sweet. The rooms are outdated and I was scared to take a shower.

Location for business. Noisy intersection

Next to the hotel there is a construction which caused a lot of noise. The workers also shouted a lot when doing the cleaning work. The administration did not communicate that they would carry out cleaning work in the hallways, which also caused a lot of noise. The hotel check-out time was 11:00 AM and housekeeping knocked on my door before 10:00 AM. Overall good experience. But I don't think I would return here to stay.

This is located near main roads which makes for a loud evening. Otherwise this place is great to stay at.

Good location, efficient, kind staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms, & close to important places for fundamental grocery & gas needs. The price is very affordable and it's a well patrolled, safe location.

It is a great spot for going to helen and to dahlonega georgia, and its cheap, clean, it has good eating options nearby, the service was good, and the room has everything you newd on a stay, the only downside is thst it is a little outdated, but this does not affect the stay at all
