This motel is older and yes needs an update. There is fridge and microwave a long with coffee in the room. It was very clean and quiet considering it is beside a busy highway. Staff was nice. For me it was just a place to sleep while I spent time with family.

The first clue should have been at check in. You can't go to the office. The sign says go to night window (it was 2pm) "for your safety and ours". They were supposed to be non smoking. There was an ashtray in the room and it stunk of cigarettes. Our first trip was to buy air freshener. The bed squeaked and the walls looked like they might cave. The shower head was rigged into the ceiling and the toilet was in bad repair.

We walked in and checked the sheets and immediately found an adult bed bug. There were also stains on the sheets as well. We had to leave immediately and try to find another hotel to stay at.

The Cheerio Inn is a great, restored motel roughly an hour and a half from Jekyll Island, St. Simons Island, etc. Very clean. No bug problems whatsoever. Super nice staff. My wife is far pickier than I am about such things, is used to nice hotels, etc. and she felt fine. The nightly rates are terrifically affordable and the area seems quite safe.

This was our second stay as we headed back home. This time I wasn't as happy with my room. On arrival, the room was stuffy. Outside temps were close to 100. The air conditioner took quite a while to cool down the room. The coffee maker basket was broken, and there was only enough coffee for one cup. There were two of us. We had to go to the office for more. Also, the shower wouldn't shut off completely, but dripped all night. Our room was clean, no complaints there and it was quiet. We slept well. The price was very reasonable. No frills, just a room and shower. Not sure I'll stay there again.

It was a older lodge but it was great! It didn’t have a tub! But it was a walk in shower! It was old school tile! Which was great for me! I don’t care for fancy! As long as I have a clean room!! I even done a google review on them! The price was great! And I did have 2 beds it was had everything I needed in a room

It was very run down. They charged me a $50 cleaning fee for my service dog. No where on their website does it say about bringing paperwork showing he is a service dog which is actually not allowed. All the bedding was stained and didn't look clean. I actually went and bought sheets to put on the bed to sleep on because I wasn't sleeping on theirs. They need a major remodel! Oh and as soon as I walked in my room it REEKED of marijuana! I understand for the price I shouldn't ask for much but there are only two options for this town and I was just staying one night. The man in the office was ok. He wasn't rude or anything but not very friendly either. If I was in a major pinch I guess I would stay there again but I would be either be bringing a sleeping bag or bedding again.

I was not real impressed. There are only two hotels In Glennville and I was told that this was the better one. It is very dated. The floor was not very clean. I had to wash my feet after walking on the floor barefoot. It is not a smoke free facility and it smelled heavily of smoke. It wasn’t listed as smoke free but it was strong. I wouldn’t stay again but it is a bed for the night. I would recommend staying at a hotel out of Glennville.

The room was very clean, the manager called me the day before we were to arrive and let us know that the T.V. system was out in the whole motel. We stayed anyway. It's an old motel but was very clean, bring your own coffee pot if you want coffee in the morning.

The room was very clean, the manager called me the day before we were to arrive and let us know that the T.V. system was out in the whole motel. We stayed anyway. It's an old motel but was very clean, bring your own coffee pot if you want coffee in the morning.
