Soggiorno di 1 notte

There was no room, when I arived I was told there were over booked. I then had to go search another hotel. At such late notice it was both very stress full and very expensive

There was no room left at the hotel. They simply refused to provide a stay. They did not even consider a refund and asked me to apply for a refund from Hotels.com. They, however, looked for a hotel nearby at a slightly higher price. I had to pay from my own pocket. I now request a refund and also to sanction the hotel for their unprofessional behaviour.

Soggiorno di 3 notti

This is not a place for outsiders. All of the other guests in the (tiny) bunks were poor Indian men on their way to be, say, a guest laborer somewhere (one man showed me his visa to Ghana). Anyway, it was awkward AF, so I powered through a couple nights and then moved next-door to the Afra hostel — still pretty much a local place, but MUCH better, and I even made some new good friends there. Actual showers, a few western toilets, a men's wing, a woman's wing, and a mixed dorm, no hangout space, but at least the bunks have really good curtains, and an electrical outlet and a light. Next-door at Shahana you're just in the dark if the room is in the dark, and you might be made to feel out-of-place.
