Shutters on the Banks

El hotel es en realidad una especie de motel. Para mí la sorpresa fue que muchas habitaciones, entre ellas la nuestra, no tenía una “ventana de verdad”; es decir, tenía ventana pero que daba al pasillo exterior por donde pasa todo el mundo, así que todo el tiempo con las persianas cerradas para tener un poco de intimidad. Lo bueno: un Acevedo directo y privado a la playa; un mar precioso.

Been coming to the OBX for many years and decided to try Shutters because of the indoor pool and hot tub being it is still May. This has been the best hotel we have ever stayed at here. It was so clean, the breakfast was a great add on, pools and hot tubs were great. I normally comment at other hotels how there are cigarette butts everywhere, not one to be found on the ground here:)

Our room was beautiful and the staff was very helpful with recommendations for dining in the area.

Shutters was an absolute amazing hotel to stay in. Very clean, with friendly and helpful staff, magnificent view of the ocean and easy, private path to the beach. When we make a come back to NC we will be choosing this hotel to stay in again. It was so wonderful, we were sad to have to leave.
