Super 8 by Wyndham Orlando International Drive

The front of the motel was under construction.( no mention of that when booking, beautiful picture of the property attached at the time of booking) Main lobby had a cone in front and sign to use other door which was a tiny room with like bulletproof window to hand your id and credit card.. gross.. felt like you checked in some run down getto property. Inside the room was caulked all around so not to fall a part. 2 small towels were present for your needs. Really??? Not to provide full set of towels? Will not book it again and don’t recommend to any other staying with family

All ice machines broken, and they have made no effort to get them fixed. Floors dirty, when you take your shoes off and walk on the floor the bottom of your feet is black.

The parking lot was mostly blocked off by hazard tape. Hard to find parking. Bugs in room and lobby. Strange lobby setup where guests checked in from a stuffy foyer room while actually air conditioned lobby was sectioned off. Made for a crowded space while multiple guests attempted to check in.

It wasn't high end but that didn't matter, rooms were clean , booked for 10 days to relax by the pool , the pool was broke on arrival, looking at pool it was for a while ,green , asked night manger about it ,i was told to just go to another hotel and use there pool !! Had to fight with staff to open the laundry room ,i mentioned it would have been nice to receive an email prior to my stay because i would have stayed elsewhere, asked for my money back my first night and got no where,i had to go to the front desk for towels ,face clotos and toliet paper at times ,the bank machine , and vending macines were also out of order ,room was on the cheaper end but staying there ruined my vacation

There was a few things about the hotel room that i think need to be improved which is the bathroom door doesnt lock and the shower needs to be fixed. I had also found a cockroach one night in my stay. Pool also wasnt working. In all the place is good those were just things that i think need to be improved and things i didnt like in my stay.

I will definitely not stay at this hotel ever again. There was a lot lacking. Cleanliness, I really hope it was the housekeeper’s hair that was long, black and curly because it was everywhere. Condition, falling apart. The pool is “closed for maintenance.” I didn’t take a picture because it was growing things. The photos below are of the bathroom. Shower curtain rod literally falling out of the wall. The shower curtain along the rings, was ripped pretty much all the way across. The walls falling apart from water damage. Service, the guy at check in was bothered that I needed to check in, I must have interrupted his show in the other room. They left cups and the makings for coffee, but no coffee pot. When I asked for one right after I got to the room (7 PM), it wasn’t brought until after I left the next morning (10 AM). It was there when I was back at 5 PM. I tried to save a few dollars this trip, I definitely will not make that mistake again.

The only negatives were for my second time there that the pool was closed and my door either refuse to open or to lock That one was a struggle. The staff very friendly.

Construction going on outside of our room. Very noisy. Had to switch rooms becuz 1st room toilet was leaking all over. Bright n early on Saturday morning construction started again. Came back after a long day n the construction crew hit the main water line so we had no water. Pool water was so green. Then we had to switch hotels so there was no relaxing after a long day.

Had to get changed in rooms because the shower broke. When they cleaned they put no effort into it , or cared to give you new towels or actually sweep & mop properly & I had to call for toilet paper or else I wasn’t given any. The new room I got put into had an A/C problem. Staff was nice & all but they need to do better with the rest of these things, not to mention the pool was not accessible at all, it was super green & needed to be cleaned, which sucks because people want to be able to cool off somehow, it’s florida.

This property needs a lot of attention. Bathroom fan loud, toilet broken(i had to fix), shower head clogged, bathroom tiles cracked and/or loose, handle loose, one vending machine empty and the other was out of order.

Unfortunately the place was horrible, found roaches every day even in microwave. Dirty towels and linens in fact the whole room. Cheap with toiletries. Dirty surroundings. Had to check out 5 days before time and spend additional money renting an Airbnb. Complete disaster.

Drive all the way From west Palm and needed a place to stay for the night booked online bathroom was not sanitized . Roach crawling through the bathroom and The Room is not sprayed on can still smell Smoke through the room . Would not Recommend and yet still they wouldn’t refund my night I didn’t even stayed at .

The hotel has an excellent location—very close to major parks like Universal Studios. This is super convenient because you can easily get an Uber or Lyft for about $6–$7 each way, which saves you from paying around $35 for parking at the parks. The room includes a microwave and a fridge, which is a big plus, especially if you’re traveling with kids. That made things easier for us. However, there are several things that need urgent improvement. The bathroom is in poor condition, with visible damage. The bathtub looked dirty and was unpleasant to step in—it appeared so unclean that I had to shower wearing flip-flops throughout my stay. I also saw multiple cockroaches in the room: one crawling on the floor, another on the wall behind the TV, one by the sink while I was brushing my teeth, and another on the table under the TV where guests usually place their things. This made me feel anxious and uncomfortable, and I even had to sleep with earplugs at night out of fear that one might crawl into my ear. The remote control didn’t work properly—you couldn’t turn the TV on with it and had to do it manually. It was also missing the back cover where the batteries go. The bedding was also insufficient—there weren’t enough blankets, and I was cold during the night. This hotel has potential thanks to its great location and the in-room amenities, but it really needs proper cleaning, pest control, and general maintenance.

Overall terrible would never go back and I definitely would never recommend first I book it months in advance on my credit card when we get there my deposit isn’t on file but yet they held the room I booked so I never got my original deposit. Secondly there was mold in the bathroom and roachs in the bathroom and all over the fridge was completely disgusting so we asked for a refund and stayed at a different hotel.

I did not like nothing. It was very nasty dirty refrigerator, dirty sheets, dirty towels. He won’t give me my money back. It was just nasty. The tub looks nasty.

The room was not clean, the shower was clogged and leaking. The toilet was also clogged. Location was perfect.

The only thing nice I can say about this was the convenient drive to Universal Studios, and there was no bugs found. This was by far the most run down facilities I have ever stayed at. The front lobby looks new and is misleading as well as the photos advertised as the room that was provided to us was horrid. The room smelled thick and musky using the sink you could smell sewage, the bathtub repairs had me wondering if I was going to fall through the floor, the faucet was not working correctly and we needed a pair of pliers to use the shower. The bed was like sleeping on concrete and so bad we purchased an air mattress!! Every piece of linen in this room was stained, comforter, pillows, sheets. The smell of people smoking marijuana lingarded all around walking to the room. There was no washrags provided either but thankfully my husband and I purchased all the linens we would need for our 4 day stay as it was NON REFUNDABLE. They also have the audacity to charge a 100.00 deposit upon arrival. I will never stay here again. If I had the ability to upload photos I would.

We enjoy staying here because of the proximity to Universal Studios and how easy it is to get there. The price is always a really good value. My only complaint is how hard the beds are. They were extremely uncomfortable.

You pay for what you get! Door lock didn’t work, no towels in the room, TV didn’t work. Did not offer to move me until 11pm at night. No apologies.

Decent Motel, good for money. Fridge buzzed constantly and could hear our neighbours every word and move.

Bring your own towels and Bath mat…..terrible wifi

Property was dated, our air conditioner was not working when arrived but they were quick to come and fix it. The first night I spent there was very loud outside my room did not get much sleep. The owners and staff were very friendly and eager to help with anything.

I thought this hotel was good for the price. The room was in very good condition. My room was cleaned every day. The people at the front desk were helpful and nice. The wifi worked fine for me. I liked the hot shower. The TV was fine. The neighborhood was convenient to restaurants down the street.

Just the A/C was noisy

Room is in rough shape, toilet barely flushed, beds are very uncomfortable, light fixtures and furniture are in rough shape as well.

Rooms could use a good remodeling, specially on bathrooms. Safe didn’t work and door was difficult to open at times.

Extremely disappointing service from the day-shift staff at the lobby. I requested an extra pillow because the ones provided were extremely small—more suitable for a baby. The staff member told me, "I can't do anything," which is unacceptable for a hotel of this size and standard. How is it possible that a large hotel doesn't have extra pillows available? I stayed for three nights, and it was a nightmare. I ended up with neck pain from having to sleep on a single small pillow. This experience was frustrating and uncomfortable, and I will definitely not be returning to this hotel.

I think the location is ideal. Close to major roadways and was easy to get to from the airport. The Super 8 met all my criteria for reasonable accomodations; comfy clean bed, non-sticky floor and hot water in the shower. Staff was easy to talk to and very attentive. All went as expected. Yes, I'd stay there again.

Definitely a motel… but a clean, safe, friendly staffed one! Come in thinking that it’s just that and not expecting a resort and you will be highly satisfied. Front desk was amazing, traveling as a young woman alone and young man helped me to my room after a late flight. Got to spend money on other activities because of the pretty fortunate I saved staying here. 10/10! Again… NOT a resort, but above said!

There was a few things that was resolved in the moment por example as in the room doesn’t work the TV remote and there wasn’t the coffee machine but when i spoke to the front desk they fix the issue right first time

First off - I only booked for a one night stay because I was at Disney all day and did not want to drive back to Clearwater late at night. Terrible front desk night clerk - rude and nasty. Property looks run down and the front desk behind a small fiberglass window in a tiny office looks like a prison and felt like one too. I had to wait 20 minutes behind these two underage kids who booked a room for 2 hour stay, can you imagine staying at one of these kinds of places. When I finally get to the front clerk, he very rudely ask for more deposit from me, when I had already booked and paid. I refused to pay more so he literally threw my drivers license under the prison fiberglass window. When I told him don't treat guest that way, he said "blah,blah, blah as if he could care less. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. BUYER BEWARE; YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Went to three different rooms with all broken AC's and chipped paint on all the walls, my first room had broken drawers and dirty light shades, my second room had a bathtoom that's light was so dim it made virtually no differece and the bathroom door didn't close, my third room was literally crawling with bugs, the the two staff I dealt with were extremely rude the moment I spoke to them the day of and after.

The location was great and the prices was so cheap in comparison to the other hotels in the area. With that being said, you also get what you pay for. The pillows looked cute. But they were probably old, flat pillows folded into a square and not very comfortable to sleep on. The office chair hurt my butt after sitting and working for a couple hours. Used a pillow and it was FLAAAAAT after sitting on it. It was remodeled, and clean! So that was nice having fresher paint and flooring. My feet were clean after waking around all night. So there’s that too! For one night, it was great. I might stay 2 nights since the floors were so clean, but maybe not 3+. The bathroom wasn’t as up dated as the rest of the room, otherwise I’d give it a better rating.

It’s near shopping districts and a good variety of restaurants near by. Buses very accessible

Location is where everything is.

A very good choice if you want to be a walk distance from Universal. Restaurants and Markets next door. Public transportation stop in front. Take the bus line 42 to come or go to the MCO airport for $2.

they didn't have proper working coffee machine

I would not recommend this property to anybody. The bathroom was absolutely horrible and very dirty. The coffee maker was missing a pot. I may never stay at a super eight again in my life.

They they advertised and we actually paid on Expedia for breakfast for an extra charge they serve zero breakfast zero coffee except instant coffee in the room and then on the top of that they make you pay $100 deposit for incidentals and they charge your credit card and still waiting for reimbursement for that that is also not advertised it's a crap hotel I stayed at beautiful motels and nice hotels and they don't charge $100 incidental fee

You get what you pay for. Rooms were clean but bathroom could certainly use some love. Recommend bringing snacks and drinks for your stay. Nowhere to purchase anything at the motel. I asked but was told they only serve water. I did see 2 vending machines but both were out of order. Place was fine for a quick stay.

Don’t bother doing the online check in you still have to do it again at check in. Housekeeping poor always forgetting items pool still closed and no free breakfast as advertised

There was no dining in the super 8 there was no breakfast of any kind and zero shuttle to the Universal Studios park. But we went and asked for fresh towels and TP each day we stayed 5 nights and there was definitely banging and noise and car alarms all night but not horribly so and we walked the 35 min each way at to Universal Studios, ordered IHOP for on the way. Super 8 is definitely dated but the room was clean except for the floor of course. Very walkable area

Advertised that’s there is breakfast there isn’t. I picked the property specifically because it offered a shuttle to theme parks and there no was no shuttle. The staff was Very nice. But don’t advertise you have something when you genuinely don’t have the service. I will definitely bite the bullet next time and spend what I have to , to be able to stay at a property that has the things I need

This motel offers basic comfort (clean room, good location, reasonable cost, etc.), but do not expect "super luxury" (comfortable beds, high quality items, etc.) and breakfasts (although we can make coffee in our bedrooms) and keep some food and drinks in a small refrigerator and use a microwave oven.

The rooms look NOTHING like they’re pictured upon booking. The property overall is rundown and in disrepair. Our room was dirty and had little to no towels and toiletries. Advertised with pool and breakfast, had neither. Wyndham can, and needs to do better.
