Hampton Inn & Suites Dickinson

We typically always choose Hampton Inns bc you know it will be clean, comfortable and have a decent breakfast. This was probably the least pleasant experience I have had out of all of our many stays. They did not seem to use the air conditioner in the halls so the the elevators and hallways were uncomfortably warm and stuffy except for the first floor. Our shower did not properly drain so feet were covered in water during showers and the curtain had mildew on bottoms. On the surface the room appeared clean but you could tell it was just on the surface by the dust and potatoe chips on the bathroom floor in the corners. It was almost as if someone had used the toilet when we arrived, seat was up and some paper in the toilet. The afternoon/ evening shift front desk were pretty unprofessional both in attire and interaction throughout the 2 night stay. We had an issue with our keys not working and even when we got new ones another of them didn’t work at outside entrance or our room. The second day when I came down for towels( since rooms are not serviced due to Covid) I stood for more than 10 minutes with no acknowledgement while someone was being checked in. Once I asked for towels i mentioned the chips on floor, mildewed curtain and shower not draining and the response was “ok”. Then she wrote down my room number and told me she would bring towels. By the time she came I had already showered and just used wet towels from the night before. The morning shift was friendly.

It was really hot outside during our stay our room wouldn’t cool down to our comfort level but it was manageable. It was hot in the hallways as well. Made it really stuffy in our room. The continental breakfast was great and the overall room and pool was great.

Everthing was okay just wish they would have let us know there was no hot tub available.

Friendly, professional staff and the facility was clean and in good repair. Could have used more fresh fruit options for breakfast but appreciated the variety of choices of menu items otherwise.

The elevator got stuck open and didn't operate. Our room was missing the cable box and cords. On the upside, Sandy at the desk worked hard to find a new box and power cord for us. Kudos to her! The breakfast person was awesome! The room was quirt.

Got snowd in and couldnt get out the parking lot to much snow at hotel entries. Other hotels and restaurant accross from street been take care of it besides this one. I end up paying $125 for the guy pull me out an to the street

We had a long day of travel and ended with a night here. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the spacious room and the pool area. At check in the staff member was not welcoming. She did not greet us, just checked my ID and then handed me keys and walked back to the staff area behind the desk. We were not given directions to the room, elevators, breakfast area, etc. The breakfast staff member was very friendly, however, which we appreciated.

The property was clean,staff was friendly, breakfast washot and someting there for even my pickiest grandchild. We were there 5 days and they even brought us up a high chair for the baby great place to stay

Room was not what was advertised and the hotel would not assist in changing rooms because we booked through Expedia. The fridge was broken, tv didn’t work and the pillows were like tiny squares. The room smelled musty and dirty.

The room was clean and spacious. The pool was nice. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

We stay in Dickinson often and choose the Hampton. Clean, friendly service, and a great breakfast! Easy to get to being off the Interstate is also nice. Highly recommend!

Entry & bathroom floor sticky!

It was hard to get our devices to stay connected. Our phones kept getting kicked off, our fridge was super cool and the tv kept going off line.

We stayed in a king suite and booking through Hotels.com got the reservation wrong. It stated two rooms and only reserved one and charged me for two. The accommosdations were great, but I would book directly next time

Shower head was broken. Only had one setting that worked. The fitted sheet wasn’t on correctly. It kept coming off all night long. It made it for a long night !!

Beds were a little too hard

This hotel was quiet and the bed was so comfy. I slept great and was refreshed for my road trip in the morning

Pillows are too soft and bed was much too firm.

No check in information, example hours for breakfast, pool hours, wifi ect.., clerk just handed hotel key. Asked for towels next day and front desk clerk said it would take awhile and rolled her eyes. Since they do not refresh rooms but every other day, it is necessary to ask front desk for them.

This was a great stay and perfect for our family with children! The staff was friendly and paid attention to details, even putting a Welcome screen with our name on in the room. The breakfast was excellent and had waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, muffins, cereal, and more. We especially appreciated the staff in charge of the breakfast, they went out of their way to keep food warm, stocked up, and they were incredibly kind and helpful. We highly recommend this location to other families!

Desk clerk slow, unfriendly and did not honor our awards program.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. A couple food choices within walking distance.

Perfect to relax after day at Medora

We like staying at this hotel. I will say the breakfast was a disaster. We were there before 9 and it closes at 10 and there was almost nothing left . Continually watched folks wonder around trying to piece something together to eat .
