Room was spacious and had been renovated. Pool was not in service. Appears place is under renovation so really couldn’t judge the finished product. Shower head was installed incorrectly causing water to just drip. Room floor was dirty. Check in was seamless and it’s a great location.

The property was nice and convenient to downtown Lake Placid. The price was very reasonable as well. There was ample free parking and a very well maintained pool. Our room was clean but a bit dated. (New curtains would really perk the space up.) Upon arrival we were greeted by a very nice gentleman even though we were messaged in advance that it would be a contactless check-in.

The room we booked was extremely spacious, very clean, parking was ample, and the king beds were very comfortable. This was my first self-check in and did not receive the text with room number and pin lock access code. Communicating via Expedia was not effective or timely. There is nobody on site to assist and had to find another person staying there to message the manager. Once i was in, the stay was great. House keeping is on site only from 9am to 3pm and by request only. We were out of supplies and messaged the owner and they sent somone out to drop off toileties. Amazing service!! There was also a small freezer/fridge and microwave which was great for our 1 week stay.

At first I didn't like that no one was on the property to check us in or answer any questions that we might have ( I Didn't know this when I booked the room ) However it worked out really well. This property is not fancy, It is clean, comfortable and at a reasonable price. The Swimming pool is a bonus. This is the second time we have stayed here and we are happy with what we got for our money.

Excellent location. They just finished refurbishing a beautiful inground however when I went out to use the pool it was locked and when I asked the manager on duty why it was locked he said that the health inspector had not yet approved it for public use. This was very upsetting because that was the main reason I chose this particular motel. Expedia and/or the owner should have pointed out this fact.

The Maple Leaf is in a great location, walking distance to several restaurants and quick drive to many others. We stayed on 2 different nights over a 5 day time period and both of the rooms we were given were clean and we did not lack for any basics. Beds were comfortable, sheets soft, and both the a/c & heating units were efficient and quiet. Parking was right in front of each room. The check-in was smooth and simple and they went above and beyond to provide us with a much needed early check-in for one of our stays. Would not hesitate to stay at the Maple Leaf should we visit the area again!

There was a door in our room that connected to another guests room which creeped me out. It was locked but super sketchy. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. Very low water pressure in bathroom.

The blanket that I took from the closet spread little pieces of I am sure of, debris. Coffee filter was not removed from the coffee maker, those 2 things gave me a feeling of, "what else was looked over?" How sanitary was the room. I realize that you are short staffed, it's a shame, the property needs a lot of TLC. (Not blaming you) I loved the keyless door entry. Felt safe. It was a very convenient location; the money I paid I really cannot complain at all. Thank you so much. Stephanie

We stayed one night at this motel to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. The location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk to Mirror Lake, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a large TV, a fridge, and a microwave. Everything was spotless. There’s no front desk, you receive a code and room number before your arrival, which makes check-in super easy and convenient. Great location and very good value for the price. We’ll definitely stay here again! 🍁

There were no staff members working the entire length of our stay. When we arrived they had blue sticky notes with our name on it, the room number and the key sitting on top of it. This is a major security concern. Unsafe practices. The room smelled of mold and everything was presented in an unsanitary manner. My girlfriend developed a sickness only women get from bacteria, which we believe is from the sheets, which smelled as though they were not washed. A man was roaming the halls and waited to see us go into our room. There were no staff to report this to. I had to confront this man myself. I would pay double to stay at any other hotel in direct area.

Not bad for a quick overnight. The window coverings don't quite cover the parking lot-facing window as well as they could. They don't overlap the molding, feeling as though you're a bit exposed.

Very basic room with 2 beds, small fridge and microwave. We appreciated having both a heating and cooling system since temps can range from 30 - 80 degrees in a day. Bathroom was well stocked with towels. Spent most of our days hiking so this was a nice place to relax!

It was a very nicely remodeled room and very comfortable. Property owner was very nice and responsive to my questions. However, the ceiling was leaking from the room upstairs, there was barely any water/water pressure one of the mornings I was there, and the WiFi signal was very poor so we could not stream any tv when we had downtime.

The check in process was a little confusing at first as they are starting a new system, but the manager Carlos was very responsive and helpful. With one quick call we were able to get in and had everything we needed.

This is a nice reasonably priced motel for basic lodging in an overpriced resort area. Obtaining my room key through my smartphone and having no on on the premises in charge was a new experience but we didn’t have any problems. I would recommend this place and would not hesitate to book here again in the future.

First booked for one price, then facility rebooked for a higher price on its own, did not give a code for the second booking, phone calls, emails and texts went unanswered, when we arrived, the code given for the first booking did not work, could not get into the room. After calling booking agent, finally got a call back from the manager Carlos, he was rude and disrespectful and gave a wrong code again, finally got into the room by transposing the numbers of the code given. Room was clean but would never return given the rudeness and disrespect of the customer service, and the fact of facility rebooking at a higher price point than originally paid.

Clean room, good location. Had issue with the electronic lock, and door of my room was opened when I arrived. I tried to call, text and e-mail to fix the issue, I never got a reply. I had to figure it out by myself, several hours later.

Quick trip to LP and found this property. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable bed. Host very friendly with great communication. Very responsive and thoughtful.

When we arrived our room wasn't quite ready due to an employee calling in. The staff was more than accommodating and tending to our room asap. We told them we'd go into town to grab dinner and the owner gave suggestions of things to do while we waited. They were extremely apologetic about the situation. While we were in Placid they messaged us when our room was ready (very quickly btw) and met us at our door to get the code set up. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. This place was very affordable, especially given the location. Will definitely stay again!

The Maple Leaf is in a great location, walking distance to several restaurants and quick drive to many others. We stayed on 2 different nights over a 5 day time period and both of the rooms we were given were clean and we did not lack for any basics. Beds were comfortable, sheets soft, and both the a/c & heating units were efficient and quiet. Parking was right in front of each room. The check-in was smooth and simple and they went above and beyond to provide us with a much needed early check-in for one of our stays. Would not hesitate to stay at the Maple Leaf should we visit the area again!

We stayed one night at this motel to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. The location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk to Mirror Lake, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a large TV, a fridge, and a microwave. Everything was spotless. There’s no front desk, you receive a code and room number before your arrival, which makes check-in super easy and convenient. Great location and very good value for the price. We’ll definitely stay here again! 🍁

Clean and comfortable. Had a little bit of trouble with check-in but the staff took care of it. Extremely walkable to nearly all of Lake Placid’s amenities.

Stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn for a lacrosse tournament after a summer of expensive lacrosse tournaments. Was looking for something inexpensive but safe and clean. Maple Leaf Inn fit the bill perfectly. It doesn't look great pulling up but our room was meticulously clean, the shower worked great, and the beds were comfortable. Great value and walking distance to downtown.

Autonomous check-in was easy. Kitchenette in the room was a plus, although it would be great to have some basic kitchen stuff like oil.

Being a senior and not very tech savvy I found the check in Procedure very difficult. Fortunately I got on the phone with Carlos and he looked after everything for me regarding check in. We loved the room as it was large with a nice kitchen and very comfortable beds. Carlos stopped by every day to make sure we had everything we needed.

it was priced reasonably for the Lake Placid area and it was a good location. They were skimpy on the bath towels, there wasn't a floor mat or hand towels or wash cloths just a pair of bath towels. Also. it took a while the get the TV working as it took some steps to get it done. They should have the instructions on the TV to help future people who stay there and a list of the Apps that worked would be nice also instead of having the try each one to see if the hotel had a subscription or not. There was a lot of light coming in both windows even with the shades down which woke me up early every morning no breakfast either but there was a McDonalds about 4 minutes walking distance away other than that it did the job but for some very inexpensive little things this could have been a better stay for future travelers.

We came into town for a busy weekend, and needed a walkable stay so we didn't have to struggle to find parking in Lake Placid. This location was just close enough to walk to everything we needed to, including dinners, shopping, and sight seeing at the Olympic Oval. Our room was clean, and our requests during our stay (extra towels, etc) were met each time. Would stay here again, maybe with a kitchenette for an extended stay to save on meals.

The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I think I have ever slept in. Traveling as a family of 4 in one hotel room can be tough, but the size of the room and comfort of the beds helped a lot. The bathroom was so small though and the water pressure in the shower at times was down to a trickle. Other times, however, it was fine. My biggest issue is there were zero hooks or places to hang up clothes in the room. A wall mounted coat rack or series of hooks would be really helpful. There is enough space in the room that part of a wall could be made into a closet type area or even just a bar and a few hooks. Overall, it was just what we needed. It was clean, close to downtown, the beds were great and the price was right. Fix a few things and we will keep coming back!

Rooms were clean and bright. Ample parking, easy to find. Close to the shops and restaurants, though not easy walking distance, there's lots of metered parking there. Registration, check in and check out are via email, quite easy even if you're minimally technology savvy. Altogether a pleasant stay
