The good part was the beds were clean the lift was ancient the shower was about 1’ of the floor not easy to get out of the plug socket was not secured to the wall properly there was hardly any one on the reception if you needed anything would not recommend

Perfect onsite parking directly outside the hotel. 5mins walk to the beach and other attractions, shops, arcades etc. Old building with dated decor, carpets and rooms. Still had everything needed to have an enjoyable stay, fridge, microwave and kettle in room. A lift in main reception which I used to take my luggage up to 3rd floor. At £35 a night, I will definitely be booking again. Very pleasant front of house staff 😊

Room was as expected. Budget double room was clean and a comfortable bed. Very close to Seafront, 1 minute walk. Street parking in front of Hotel. Check-in was quick and easy, staff friendly. Would stay again.

Great location, parking available at the front of the property, however very limited with other hotels using so many be hard in season to get a place. Walking distance to sea was 2 mins with a small corner shop on the main street with a small selection of food and drink. Room was large however there was a smell of weed in the room and the windows are painted closed so couldn't get rid of it. We may have just been unlucky. No bar or restaurant on site, this may have just been off season but worth checking if that's something you require. Room did have a microwave and fridge so if staying for work that would be helpful, save eating out. Small lift available to all floors if required. Staff friendly as in welcoming but no information on local facilities etc just the basic. So many restaurants and bars open within walking distance and of course amusement arcades. The price was more than reasonable for two people and was worth it for the location I would hope we just got unlucky with the room. The main reason we wouldn't return is the parking as so limited even off season it was full and one of the hotels in the road was closed. But from a price point you do get what you pay for and it was very reasonable.

Lift was small, luckily my partners mobility scooter was a fold up one. Room was extremely hot even with the window open. Shower head was dirty, mould on sealant in shower, taps scaled up. No hot water to wash or shower with. There was a leak i think maybe from an overflow pipe, water was hitting a roof nearby to our window so, with that and the heat didn't sleep very well. Bed appeared comfortable although didnt get under the covers as it was so hot, the floor felt hot i presume from pipes so, i dont know why the hot water wasnt getting to the taps.

The picture of the reception room is deceiving; it is not like that at all. It was dark and dull. The lift, for a mobility scooter, just fits in the lift. The slope at the front of the hotel is too steep for a mobility scooter to get up, so my husband had to get into the Hotel the back way. The room was okay, but the bed was not comfortable. We would not stay again even for one night.

Parking is out front in street bays, which are shared with the hotel across the street. Staying off season i was always fine finding a space but i could see it being limited in summer. Staff are efficient and helpful, rooms are basic but clean and i slept well enough. The weatherspoons (The Troll Cart) is a short walk away, so reliable food and drinks are nearby too.

Top end by pleasure beach and casino Clean ,parking handy opposite Staff a little confused as we gave ref of hotels.com They wanted 10 digit Experian ref Shower needed to run but for money was clean and what was needed Note lots of stairs and windy -probably not good with lots baggage or suitcases Although there is a lift we didn’t use it so can’t comment on how useful it was Curtains up but one didn’t open Kettle tea coffee facilities there a but a little tickle pickledy Microwave in room too

Nice and clean, quiet location but only a 3-5 min walk from amusements. Only draw back bit of a musty smell in the shower which wasnt very powerful, more of a trickle....but overall, comfortable and clean

It was very good location. Seafront, Beach are couple of minutes walks. Room was ok. But the shower was very weak. Hot water ran out in one evening but did came back. It was ok. Have parking as well.

Paid £45 so it's difficult to criticise, whole hotel is clean but shabby. Took half an hour to run a bath which is either hot or cold but never mixed. Takes five mins to get hot then if you turn on cold it takes five mins again to get the hot back. TV remote didn't work and hot tap on sink was wobbling about. Radiator in bathroom worked but one in the room did not. Bed was very comfortable, had a lie in.

Great budget hotel. Nice , clean and good location. Price of the room was very good. Good bathroom, toiletries supplied and clean towels. Lovely comfy bed. Room was a tad hot but it was heatwave. All in all a great stay over.

Room size great, nice to have a fridge & microwave (didn't use only stayed one night but they worked I checked) bed was very comfy and clean,plenty of free parking outside hotel. The only negative and a big one was only luke warm water for shower in morning, I mean luke warm had shower at 9am, check out was 10am.

The room was newly refurbished, good standard, bright, modern, all the basics, plenty of power points with built in usb ports. The staff were helpful, friendly and tried hard. They were let down by outside contractor not fitting a new boiler properly so it took time before the hot water was fixed. Letsface it , Yarmouth has a lot of old crumbly hotels that need a lot of work. While overall the Hotel looks dated they are doing up the rooms. It is a bit hit and miss but you're not paying much so dont expect the Ritz if your paying less tan 40 quid for a double, then theres probably issues. I only paid 12 quid with loyalty offers and 32 forthe second night . No kettle and heating not on , were remidied quickly . There was a fridge and microwave in room , so you get a lot for your money.

I stayed here by myself for 2 nights. Check-in was fast & smooth, & literally took just a few minutes. The hotel is dated, with old fashioned carpets, & furniture, & the lift is very old & has a 2 door system. Staff were friendly & helpful, & helped when I couldn't figure out how to work the TV! The room - again this space was dated, but comfy & clean, however the carpet was a little worn, ruffled in places, & frayed around the edges. My room had 3 beds, I'm assuming that this is their family room. There was a private on-suite bathroom, & the room also had a large flat screen TV, a fridge, microwave, kettle with cups, tea, coffee, milk, & bottles of water replaced daily. This hotel also has free parking & free WiFi. There was 1 double wardrobe & a double chest of drawers, these were modern (probably from IKEA.) The bed was clean, soft & comfy, & I had a great night's sleep. My only gripes were that my room door did not lock from the inside, so I pushed a bed up against it before bedtime, & the shower pressure is terrible, but doable. The only reason I didn't complain was because I didn't have time, I was gone first thing in the morning & came back late at night, so made do. I'm pretty sure had I complained, the hotel would have done thier best to accommodate me. So in a nutshell, I wasn't prepared to pay £236 to stay at an alternative hotel, so I booked here for under £80, & I'm sooooo glad that I did. I enjoyed my stay & I would definitely come back.

I stayed here for 3 nights, the bed was comfy and tea/coffee/water was readily refilled. Shower was very weak and the WiFi barely worked but the stay was good overall and I was happy for what I payed for.

Sadly as in all seaside resorts, there are a lot of run down buildings and the area looks a bit sad however the St George Hotel offers a wonderful location just across the road from the beach and it has onsite safe parking which is limited however we had no problems finding a parking spot. The rooms are not luxurious by a long chalk however they make up for that by providing a fridge, microwave, bottled water, hairdryer, toiletries and the bedding was very clean as were the towels. Sadly the restaurant and bar has closed permanently which is a sign of the times but for a couple of nights it was fun to enjoy arcades, ice cream parlours, fish and chips and the beautiful beach. The staff are Eastern European and they were all very friendly and welcoming. If you want 5 star, this is not for you but otherwise it’s great for a couple of nights. Also, big shoutout for the model village on the promenade, it was really enjoyable and a lot of work has gone into it, well worth a visit and you are allowed a re-entry in the following 7 days.

A fairly cheap room, adequate for what was needed. Bit noisy and buildings surrounding hotel in need of repair. Overall a good hotel for an overnight stay, good facilities and friendly staff, quick check in.

Nice inner hotel garden but smokers in the garden so you can't open your windows from your room and you can smell the smoke through the single pane glass. Why not make them smoke outside front of hotel ??? !!! This is 2024!!! 2 pillows in room. Not enough I need 4 and the pillows were so thing almost non existent. Room was smaller than photos suggest and bed was very small double so you can't move without waking your partner up It did have a tv and coffee tea and toiletries hairdryer so that part was OK but normal milk satchet. Nice inner hotel garden but smokers in the garden so you can't open your windows from your room and you can smell the smoke through the single pane glass. Why not make them smoke outside front of hotel ??? !!! This is 2024!!! 2 pillows in room. Not enough I need 4 and the pillows were so thing almost non existent. Room was smaller than photos suggest and bed was very small double so you can't move without waking your partner up It did have a tv and coffee tea and toiletries hairdryer so that part was OK but normal milk satchet. Check in was ok, room was very small with a tiny window, curtain only covered half of the window, stains on the bedding and the previous guests false lashes stuck to the bathroom tiles, it says free parking but good luck with finding a space, wouldn’t feel safe around that area late at night

I stayed here by myself for 2 nights. Check-in was fast & smooth, & literally took just a few minutes. The hotel is dated, with old fashioned carpets, & furniture, & the lift is very old & has a 2 door system. Staff were friendly & helpful, & helped when I couldn't figure out how to work the TV! The room - again this space was dated, but comfy & clean, however the carpet was a little worn, ruffled in places, & frayed around the edges. My room had 3 beds, I'm assuming that this is their family room. There was a private on-suite bathroom, & the room also had a large flat screen TV, a fridge, microwave, kettle with cups, tea, coffee, milk, & bottles of water replaced daily. This hotel also has free parking & free WiFi. There was 1 double wardrobe & a double chest of drawers, these were modern (probably from IKEA.) The bed was clean, soft & comfy, & I had a great night's sleep. My only gripes were that my room door did not lock from the inside, so I pushed a bed up against it before bedtime, & the shower pressure is terrible, but doable. The only reason I didn't complain was because I didn't have time, I was gone first thing in the morning & came back late at night, so made do. I'm pretty sure had I complained, the hotel would have done thier best to accommodate me. So in a nutshell, I wasn't prepared to pay £236 to stay at an alternative hotel, so I booked here for under £80, & I'm sooooo glad that I did. I enjoyed my stay & I would definitely come back.

Unmanned reception with countless notices. Took 5 minutes to find the bell located in a corner to call for check-in. The floor carpets are very dirty!!! No fan or air-conditioning, so a very muggy night! More like a 1-star hotel the claimed 3-star!

Room was as expected. Budget double room was clean and a comfortable bed. Very close to Seafront, 1 minute walk. Street parking in front of Hotel. Check-in was quick and easy, staff friendly. Would stay again.

We stayed here as a last minute choice and overall we were happy with it. Pros: Good price Clean room with a fridge and microwave Excellent location Easy to check in and check out Cons: Be aware that the bar/dining is no longer operating There is parking outside the hotel but you may not get a space right away The reception area and corridors need a renovating to make them lighter (perhaps new carpet)

Parking is out front in street bays, which are shared with the hotel across the street. Staying off season i was always fine finding a space but i could see it being limited in summer. Staff are efficient and helpful, rooms are basic but clean and i slept well enough. The weatherspoons (The Troll Cart) is a short walk away, so reliable food and drinks are nearby too.

Reception was welcoming. Room was moderate but most of the furnitures were broken or somehow kept in one piece. Bathroom door was barely hanging, there wasn't any railings to hangs the towels in the bathroom either. Could be better based on the price they are charging. Good thing was the short walk to the beach.

Sadly as in all seaside resorts, there are a lot of run down buildings and the area looks a bit sad however the St George Hotel offers a wonderful location just across the road from the beach and it has onsite safe parking which is limited however we had no problems finding a parking spot. The rooms are not luxurious by a long chalk however they make up for that by providing a fridge, microwave, bottled water, hairdryer, toiletries and the bedding was very clean as were the towels. Sadly the restaurant and bar has closed permanently which is a sign of the times but for a couple of nights it was fun to enjoy arcades, ice cream parlours, fish and chips and the beautiful beach. The staff are Eastern European and they were all very friendly and welcoming. If you want 5 star, this is not for you but otherwise it’s great for a couple of nights. Also, big shoutout for the model village on the promenade, it was really enjoyable and a lot of work has gone into it, well worth a visit and you are allowed a re-entry in the following 7 days.

Was only a little weekend away, the location was spot on couldn’t picked a better spot. Hotel is run down but you do get what you pay for we wasn’t expecting the ritz. Only bad thing I can say is the. Beds were really uncomfortable my partner will sleep anywhere but he didn’t sleep great. Basic but we didn’t want much just somewhere to put our head at night. No bar or restaurant as stated but plenty around. Staff all friendly

Check in was fine . Parking very good . Close to the beach and amenities . It’s a very old hotel. Floorboards creek. Windows rattle. The shower (lol) took 15 mins to get warm, not hot as the signs indicated , and little more than a trickle . Adequate for our 1 night impromptu visit to the seaside with 2 children . Sadly no food or bar at the hotel . My fault I didn’t read the specs properly . Plenty of places close by though . Luckily the weather was lovely. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it . But it sufficed for one night .

Stayed here for 1 night 14th September. Being disabled i phoned to make sure their lift was working. Got no help with my bags. Was given 201 on the 2nd floor. I played on the floor thought this is uncomfortable. My phone needed charging plugged it into the switch next to the microwave it sparked. Plugged into a different plug. Got into bed springs were in my back, every way I turned at 3am had enough got out took duvet out of cover and put that on bed then slepted on the edge in the duvet cover. No one at check out just a box to put keys in. I will never entertain this hotel every again it was unfit for purpose especially paying over £40 for 1 night.
