The Hamilton - Lakefront & Studio Suites, Hot Springs

The property itself is nice; however, I was very disappointed with how management handled an unexpected water outage during my stay. A water main broke, leaving the hotel without water for approximately a day. I had an event to attend and was unable to shower, so I ultimately had to book another hotel. What was most disappointing was that no alternative accommodations or meaningful assistance were offered. Given that Hilton has multiple properties in the area, I would have expected management to at least help guests explore options at another location. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told that because I had already paid for my stay, there was essentially nothing they could do. I ended up paying for another Hilton property myself. I understand that a water main break is beyond the hotel’s control. My issue is not that the outage occurred, but rather how the situation was handled afterward. Unexpected problems happen in the hospitality business; good management is demonstrated by how those problems are addressed. I generally have had very good experiences with Hilton, which made this situation particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, based on the lack of assistance and concern shown to guests during the outage, I would not recommend this particular property.

It’s a lot cleaner in the inside when looking at the condo from the outside look rough. Loved the lake right outside everything was nice BUT we stayed 5 days we left after 4 had to go buy towels cause I couldn’t get anymore and had to go buy toilet paper. Getting a hold of anybody is impossible but if your only staying a day or two would recommend any longer go somewhere else also nothing really around there to eat or see

The rooms were clean. The kitchen had very minimal silverware, the stove was so small you could only cook one pan at a time…the cleaning staff was available if needed. The back balcony had a lot of debris on ground, no broom sweep it off. The wood around the property was in need of repair!!!! The back sidewalk around the lake had duck poo all over it the whole time we were there. Someone should clean that DAILY!! All tables and chairs inside and out are real cheap white plastic, and uneven.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The location and lake view were nice, but communication was poor. We contacted the property because the bathroom sink wasn’t draining and we needed more toilet paper. We didn’t receive a timely response, had to buy our own toilet paper, and the sink was only fixed after we followed up. Our biggest issue was the final night. After midnight, there was constant loud stomping and banging from the unit above us, despite the property’s quiet-hours policy. At 12:36 a.m. I contacted management because we couldn’t sleep and had an early drive home. We received no response until 10:15 the next morning, when we were told they had contacted the upstairs guests but “never hit send” on their response. Unfortunately, the noise continued regardless. I understand management can’t control every guest, but timely communication is important, especially at a property without an on-site front desk. Between the maintenance issue, lack of basic supplies, excessive nighttime noise, and delayed responses, I would not stay here again.
