The photos don’t do this place justice! We got in and asked if we could extend our stay! It’s all about the small touches and this place had no shortage of them. They called me to make sure I understood after hours check in. My family and I were walked to our room. We got the suite that looked over the falls. It was spacious, modern, and had more than everything. Family friendly for sure. Breakfast was the nicest and locally sourced continental breakfast ever and was in a cozy gathering room. Can’t recommend enough. We will be back!

Beautiful New England inn set on old mill and factory, perfectly restored. Our room # had outstanding view of stream and waterfall. Cafe offer great morning breakfast options. A great place for a quiet stay.

The hotel is a beautiful, renovated property in Hatfield, Massachusetts, ten minutes north of Northampton. The rooms are lovely and extremely clean. It was self check-in and self check-out, so there wasn't a lot of interaction with staff. A substantial and delicious Continental breakfast was offered to guests with amazing baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. I really liked this hotel and will happily stay here again.

this place was perfect. my partner and i were road tripping and stayed for one night, as i lived nearby years ago and was familiar with the property. the suite we stayed in was super updated, and the waterfall outside our window was the perfect white noise machine for the most restful sleep. although we weren't there long enough to make much use of the full kitchen, it was a nice perk to have a fridge and coffeemaker. it's conveniently located, minutes away from a ton of great restaurants and things to do, but the property itself is a relaxing space that feels like its a world away. breakfast options were awesome, although we already had plans to go elsewhere i grabbed some delicious pastries and coffee that we enjoyed outside near the waterfall. the staff were all so friendly and helpful, sharing local recommendations. in fact, after discovering a few hours after we left that i had forgotten something in our room, i called and asked if i could pay to have it shipped to our home, and they were able to arrange that as well, which was above and beyond, and very appreciated. i would not hesitate to book here again, and definitely for a longer stretch of time.

Top notch service, beautiful property, friendly staff. We were upgraded by the kind lady who checked us in and placed in a beautiful room overlooking the water. This was one of the most scenic places I’ve ever stayed. Breakfast in the small cafe was great as well. We hope to return!

I stayed at this charming, clean and cozy property for a night when I dropped my daughter off at college for her Spring Semester. The only negative was that I was not aware prior to making the reservation that their restaurant would be closed between January and March for lunch/ dinner. However, guests were permitted to spend time within the restaurant and small lounge area to watch tv, read or play board games in a warm community setting all day and in the evenings. A complementary breakfast of brewed coffee and baked pastries were provided between 7am-11am in the restaurant also. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I do hope to return soon! 🙂

The Inn is on a waterfall and we had a room overlooking it directly. So beautiful. The staff and owner were so friendly and the breakfast at the cafe was delicious. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The renovations on this Inn are top notch. I'd stay here again and again.

My wife and I stayed at the Old Mill Inn for two nights and really enjoyed it. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are nicely appointed, but also charming. The breakfast - especially the biscuits- is amazing.

Staff was very considerate and reached out with late check in instructions. It was all great. My only issue was the mattress was too hard for my liking. Didn’t sleep much.

Adorable little inn. Rooms are nicely updated and well kept. The area is very picturesque. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and appreciated that the room had free Hulu.

Not exactly what I expected but turned out to be a gem. Well isolated but a couple of decent eateries within a short drive. One of the room windows wouldn’t close so we had the sound of the adjacent waterfall as continuous background noise but I suppose there is worse. Staff were very good.

A short overnight trip to see family after the holiday. We didn’t want to leave. Justin and Deb were so friendly and helpful. A lovely immaculate and comfortable room. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many choices to please. We will definitely stay there again when visiting. Thank you

This is our second time staying here and again it did not disappoint. The waterfall is so relaxing and the room was spotless. Checkin was easy and comes with the friendliest dog whose presence is therapeutic. Easy drive to Amherst and Northampton.

We were told we were getting rooms on the water side, but got them on the parking lot side instead. The woman at the desk smirked and implied that that was what we got for booking through Expedia. Also the walls were thin and I heard a man talking in the next room for a long time. However, the place was still quiet overall and very clean and the bed very comfortable. There was some junk in the back by the waterfall that shouldn't have been there. Would have been prettier without it! I'm still happy I stayed there, though.

Was booked into the Holyoke room for two nights. Lovely to open the window while sleeping and hear the falls. The industrial decor suits the place. Felt the staff I met (Gail, Marsha, Shannon) were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast in their cafe was delicious. My only complaint is the walls are quite thin and I could hear snoring or conversations in the room next door. Would not deter me from staying here again though. Thank you for a great two night getaway!

While we only stayed at The Old Mill for one night we enjoyed the handsome and very comfortable room (Waterfall) and the view of the waterfall and railroad bridge and would love to come back and stay longer - and try the breakfast choices (base on the aromas coming from the tavern in the morning). The staff was pleasant and helpful.

We had a corner room #9 which is bright and has a nice view to nature in the morning. It is on the top floor, so you have high ceilings and the the woodwork. Staff is friendly and helpful. As you have the “waterfall” close to the room, you will hear the background noise night and day. It didn’t bother us, sounds a bit like a a/c. Air plugs are provided, which we didn’t use.

This was a nice property. We had a suite. I would recommend this suite if you were staying for a few days. We stayed one night. I do t think it was worth the cost. The main bed was too high. It was noisy. Sounded like a herd of elephants were upstairs and running on the stairs.

First and foremost, the hospitality at the Old Mill Inn is exceptional! The Mill is beautiful and the recent renovations give it a very fresh look. The urban industrial look in an old country mill work well to create an upscale experience in a peacefully restful setting.

We love the Old Mill Inn! This will be our third stay and definitely not our last. We have stayed at several other places in the past, and definitely never will again after discovering Old Mill Inn! The women who run the inn are so warm and welcoming. They also have a new continental breakfast that consists of a wide array of home baked goods which were amazing.

We appreciated the wonderful historic building and its connection to the region, and all of the staff who were happy to tell us about the history of the region. It was very refreshing. We had a slight problem and they corrected immediately as well. Thanks to everyone at the Old Mill Inn.

Staff was very considerate and reached out with late check in instructions. It was all great. My only issue was the mattress was too hard for my liking. Didn’t sleep much.

Not exactly what I expected but turned out to be a gem. Well isolated but a couple of decent eateries within a short drive. One of the room windows wouldn’t close so we had the sound of the adjacent waterfall as continuous background noise but I suppose there is worse. Staff were very good.

The hotel is a beautiful, renovated property in Hatfield, Massachusetts, ten minutes north of Northampton. The rooms are lovely and extremely clean. It was self check-in and self check-out, so there wasn't a lot of interaction with staff. A substantial and delicious Continental breakfast was offered to guests with amazing baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. I really liked this hotel and will happily stay here again.

I cant wait to stay here again,our visit was brief but the charm and friendliness of the staff made us feel so welcomed,the inn is beautiful and the carriage house were we stayed,amazing,a mix of new and old, Would highly. Recommend to anyone. We were 20 minutes from the Green River festival. We were only able to get this room Because of a cancellation Everything was booked up because of the events, I did not realize you had to book so far.In advance, the festival was amazing as well. Beautiful memories made.

The Old Mill Inn was an incredibly quaint, comfortable, and authentic inn with a bed & breakfast level of hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was so welcoming. While the location feels somewhat remote, it is absolutely worth making it a destination stay.

Fun and unique experience. Staff and staff dog attentive and happy to help. We went down to the restaurant that is delicious and open only early day and the staff was having a 5 person party...they welcomed us in and shared their pizza salad and chocolate. The area offered some fun things. Yankee Candle Village and a butterfly house

This is an interesting facility; literally an old mill on the river. It is a nice place. However, there is not much in Hatfield for dining, and this hotel does not offer that much in that regard.

I stayed at this charming, clean and cozy property for a night when I dropped my daughter off at college for her Spring Semester. The only negative was that I was not aware prior to making the reservation that their restaurant would be closed between January and March for lunch/ dinner. However, guests were permitted to spend time within the restaurant and small lounge area to watch tv, read or play board games in a warm community setting all day and in the evenings. A complementary breakfast of brewed coffee and baked pastries were provided between 7am-11am in the restaurant also. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I do hope to return soon! 🙂

My wife and I stayed at the Old Mill Inn for two nights and really enjoyed it. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are nicely appointed, but also charming. The breakfast - especially the biscuits- is amazing.

Sort of weird. No one there when we arrived. Just a key in an envelope with our name. Rather basic amenities and felt a little moldy. A shoestring operation with the price of someplace where I would have expected a more personal inn-like experience.

I really loved the Old Mill Inn. Great location for sightseeing in the Deerfield area. Our room was spotless, and I love the decor. So different from 'chain' hotels. The view of the waterfall was stunning, and we even saw a family of otters swimming in the water! Staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, with homemade pastries and local yogurt. Easy parking, and I love the outdoor spaces for eating outside or just enjoying the view.
