Clean, 3 bathrooms a plus, quiet area, hot tub was excellent. Decorated nicely, beautiful kitchen with large fridge. If you plan to cook, helpful to know there are no seasonings. Wifi was good. TVs were great too. View of active lock, walkers, ducks, and swans was a definite highlight. Quick walk to co-op (only coffee in Gargrave), nice meals at The Old Swan and Bollywood is worth a stop too (booking recommended). The Bull was our favorite. Fantastic hiking/walking in the area. Walked from the front door to Skipton (5 scenic miles), all along canal, and trained back for 3.50. Malham Cove was spectacular. US travelers: skyes cottages was the interface service but neither they nor VRBO replied to emails for payment updates or additional info. Hosts weren't given our info to communicate directly either as theyd liked to have contacted us to see preferred bed setups, etc. We were given host numbers only, a day before travel. Driving in the dales is beautiful but tight.
