The room was clean and well equipped, including a fridge. Our room had a beautiful ocean view. The AC in our room worked beautifully. Common areas do not have AC, but there was no need, bc the windows were wide open and the breeze was wonderful. Staff was very nice and we were given bottles of water when we checked in. There are a few steps down to get to the hotel, (which has been renovated.). Will stay here again. Taxi is about 30 euro to the airport

Previously when I stayed in Paphos, I always stayed in properties in the Kato Paphos neighborhood. I wasn't sure what to expect from this location, but it turned out to be fantastic. First, there is a public bus that takes you within a few hundred meters of the door. The old town area near the hotel is also being renovated and so there are now a lot of restaurants and bars in the area - including many that cater to younger crowds. The property itself is nice with some nice views if you get the seaside end. The staff was really helpful and very welcoming. Very easy parking if you rent a vehicle. Overall, definitely worth a stay.

highly recommend this hotel. Their customer service is second to none. The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. Tolles, sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel, das alles bietet was man fuer einen Kurzurlaub braucht. Freundliches Personal. Es befindet sich im alten Teil von Paphos mit Restaurants und Bars in der Naehe. Das Fruehstueck war klasse und bot etwas von allem. Angefangen mit verschieden Arten von Milch (Kuh, Laktosefrei/Mandel/Kokusnuss), verschiedenen Kaesearten (Feta, Ziegenkaese, etc), Wurstaufschnitten, Bacon, frischer Fruchtsalat, Gemuese, gebratene/gekochte Eier, selbstgemachte Marmelade, Honig, verschiedene Arten von Koernern, Mueslis, Zerealien, Kuchen, verschiedene Arten von Kaffee/Tee etc. Die Zimmer zur Stadtseite bieten einen entfernten Meerblick. Bei offenem Fenster hoert man den Strassenverkehr, so ist das Zimmer auf der anderen Seite (Parkview) zu empfehlen. Es sei denn man schlaeft mit Tuer zu, was dann aber wahrscheinlich bei warmen Wetter zu stickig ist. Wenn man die Klimaanlage anmacht sollte es jedoch kein Problem sein (wir sind kein Fan davon). Das Zimmer war ausgestattet mit Foen, Fernseher (nur griechische Programme), hatte einen grossen Kuehlschrank, Duschgel etc ist vorhanden, ausreichend fuer einen Kurzurlaub. Hotel is near the central square area not the seafront but still convenient if you have a car. For a few euros extra its worth booking a room with balcony with seaview. Lovely traditional stone floor lobby with lounge overlooking the bay.

It's hard to believe this hotel is only 2 stars. I travelled around the island and higher stars hotels did not provide any better services. Some of them still don't do water refill, keep changing bedding and towels daily unnecessarily etc. Unlike here, with well explained schedules and a water refill station 24/7. The breakfast is easily like in a 3 star hotel, not to mention the fantastic view from the breakfast area. The economy room is spacious and comfortable. I noted many solo traveller women in the hotel like myself. This hotel is not for a beach holiday, it takes a while to get to the beaches. Choose it if you need city centre and transport links like I did, and enjoy the cafes and restaurants within minutes. There are bus stops nearby with services to the archeological sites or the beaches. Alternatively, walk to these in 20/30min.

There are some positives about the hotel and some negatives. Let's start with positives. Because I had a late flight even if check-in is until 23:00 they waited me and was not a problem upon my email that I will be late. I asked them for taxi when I arrive to be waiting me at airport and they did that too. They cleaned room every day, breakfast was ok nothing special, staff is friendly. And some negatives. My door had gap so there was light from the hallway all night. Mini bar was really loud when it turned on. In room was hot at night but if I wanted to turn AC then it was blowing into me and I hate when AC is turned in my head. And the last one I left biscuits on the table and then out of electrical socket came swarm of small ants.

We left raving enthusiastically about this hotel: with an unparalleled view over Paphos, fabulous breakfast, lovely balconies for spotlessly clean rooms, warm and helpful staff, we will come here again as soon as possible! The reasonable price makes the short bus ride to the harbour no problem at all. The elegant restaurant "Muse" is next door. We recommend this hotel to everyone!

The Axiothea was excellent value. I liked being in trhe old townn away from the busier beach area. The beach was still in waling distance and there were plenty of buses. I had a lovely room overlooking the sea with a balcony which had tableand chairs as well as lounge chairs and washing lines. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and an amazing breakfast choice was provided. Thank you to all.

This classic Mediterranean family owned hotel is close to bus service, the old town with restaurants and shops and the central bus station. In a quiet neighborhood with breathtaking views off the balconies and a panoramic glass enclosed dining area where you will start your day with a nice breakfast. Michael, the owner is also a great concierge. He can give recommendations and answer questions from where to get a PCR test to tourist hot spots to what bus to take to get to surrounding towns. Try to get a sea view room. It's worth the extra cost. The rooms are large and comfortable. Everything about this hotel from sparkling cleans rooms to breakfast. I chose this room at random but I'll return by choice

The room was clean and well equipped, including a fridge. Our room had a beautiful ocean view. The AC in our room worked beautifully. Common areas do not have AC, but there was no need, bc the windows were wide open and the breeze was wonderful. Staff was very nice and we were given bottles of water when we checked in. There are a few steps down to get to the hotel, (which has been renovated.). Will stay here again. Taxi is about 30 euro to the airport

We loved the Axiothea Hotel. It had a superb location in old Paphos which is away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area but only a 5 minute bus or car ride to reach the promenade. The reception area downstairs where you have breakfast has a breathtaking view over the city with sea views. The rooms have balconies so we had a lovely view from our room too. It’s a family run business and everyone is very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as a place to stay. Two star rating but Five star service. Brilliant.

We left raving enthusiastically about this hotel: with an unparalleled view over Paphos, fabulous breakfast, lovely balconies for spotlessly clean rooms, warm and helpful staff, we will come here again as soon as possible! The reasonable price makes the short bus ride to the harbour no problem at all. The elegant restaurant "Muse" is next door. We recommend this hotel to everyone!

Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Gave us a bottle of water the moment we walked in and lent us the proper wall plug adapter. Bed was comfortable. View from balcony was wonderful. Shower has great water pressure and all the hot water we wanted.

Excellent , very clean, choose a room with sea view balcony if you can amazing. Staff are excellent and friendly, it's a family business and they were all very nice me to and my requests. Restaurant MUSE is 3 mins walk away, and 10 mins into downtain there's restaurants.

Tolles, sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel, das alles bietet was man fuer einen Kurzurlaub braucht. Freundliches Personal. Es befindet sich im alten Teil von Paphos mit Restaurants und Bars in der Naehe. Das Fruehstueck war klasse und bot etwas von allem. Angefangen mit verschieden Arten von Milch (Kuh, Laktosefrei/Mandel/Kokusnuss), verschiedenen Kaesearten (Feta, Ziegenkaese, etc), Wurstaufschnitten, Bacon, frischer Fruchtsalat, Gemuese, gebratene/gekochte Eier, selbstgemachte Marmelade, Honig, verschiedene Arten von Koernern, Mueslis, Zerealien, Kuchen, verschiedene Arten von Kaffee/Tee etc. Die Zimmer zur Stadtseite bieten einen entfernten Meerblick. Bei offenem Fenster hoert man den Strassenverkehr, so ist das Zimmer auf der anderen Seite (Parkview) zu empfehlen. Es sei denn man schlaeft mit Tuer zu, was dann aber wahrscheinlich bei warmen Wetter zu stickig ist. Wenn man die Klimaanlage anmacht sollte es jedoch kein Problem sein (wir sind kein Fan davon). Das Zimmer war ausgestattet mit Foen, Fernseher (nur griechische Programme), hatte einen grossen Kuehlschrank, Duschgel etc ist vorhanden, ausreichend fuer einen Kurzurlaub. Alles in allem ein Hotel, das sehr zu empfehlen ist. Fuer einen Pool-Urlaub sollte man das Hotel meiden, da es keinen gibt. Aber das Meer ist ja auch schoen :).

We had a good stay. The room was spoilt by a step up to the bathroom which we kept stubbing our toes on. The bed was acceptable but we would not want to spend more than a night on it. The breakfast was very good indeed. We paid extra for a sea and city view which was well worth it.

Lovely, simple hotel in a great location in Ktima Paphos. Fantastic views over the town and easy to travel down to the harbour. Bathroom very small but did not cause any problems as a solo traveller. My room was next to the lift and I never heard a sound from it. Would happily stay in this hotel and the same room on any future visit.

There are some positives about the hotel and some negatives. Let's start with positives. Because I had a late flight even if check-in is until 23:00 they waited me and was not a problem upon my email that I will be late. I asked them for taxi when I arrive to be waiting me at airport and they did that too. They cleaned room every day, breakfast was ok nothing special, staff is friendly. And some negatives. My door had gap so there was light from the hallway all night. Mini bar was really loud when it turned on. In room was hot at night but if I wanted to turn AC then it was blowing into me and I hate when AC is turned in my head. And the last one I left biscuits on the table and then out of electrical socket came swarm of small ants.

highly recommend this hotel. Their customer service is second to none. The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. This classic Mediterranean family owned hotel is close to bus service, the old town with restaurants and shops and the central bus station. In a quiet neighborhood with breathtaking views off the balconies and a panoramic glass enclosed dining area where you will start your day with a nice breakfast. Michael, the owner is also a great concierge. He can give recommendations and answer questions from where to get a PCR test to tourist hot spots to what bus to take to get to surrounding towns. Try to get a sea view room. It's worth the extra cost. The rooms are large and comfortable. Everything about this hotel from sparkling cleans rooms to breakfast. I chose this room at random but I'll return by choice

Śniadania były bardzo dobre, różnorodne i obfite - chyba tylko malkontenci mogliby narzekać... Atutem hotelu jest centralne położenie w stosunku do morza, starego miasta i przystanku autobusów, skąd można dostać się na lotnisko albo do innych miejscowości na wyspie. Szczerze polecam ten obiekt.

Previously when I stayed in Paphos, I always stayed in properties in the Kato Paphos neighborhood. I wasn't sure what to expect from this location, but it turned out to be fantastic. First, there is a public bus that takes you within a few hundred meters of the door. The old town area near the hotel is also being renovated and so there are now a lot of restaurants and bars in the area - including many that cater to younger crowds. The property itself is nice with some nice views if you get the seaside end. The staff was really helpful and very welcoming. Very easy parking if you rent a vehicle. Overall, definitely worth a stay.

Good location old town lovely views sea view Clean plus decent breakfast with sea view . Beach / harbor 30 minute walk . Downtown less than 10 minutes to shops & restaurants. Check out the Muse restaurant/bar across from hotel . Unfortunately experienced the smell of smoking a few nights in a row the smell woke us from our sleep .It was intense there is no smoking in rooms or hotel . The windows were closed as it was cool in the evenings. Otherwise the stay was good .

The Axiothea was excellent value. I liked being in trhe old townn away from the busier beach area. The beach was still in waling distance and there were plenty of buses. I had a lovely room overlooking the sea with a balcony which had tableand chairs as well as lounge chairs and washing lines. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and an amazing breakfast choice was provided. Thank you to all.

Hotel is near the central square area not the seafront but still convenient if you have a car. For a few euros extra its worth booking a room with balcony with seaview. Lovely traditional stone floor lobby with lounge overlooking the bay.

We left raving enthusiastically about this hotel: with an unparalleled view over Paphos, fabulous breakfast, lovely balconies for spotlessly clean rooms, warm and helpful staff, we will come here again as soon as possible! The reasonable price makes the short bus ride to the harbour no problem at all. The elegant restaurant "Muse" is next door. We recommend this hotel to everyone!

Beautiful, clean and with gorgeous views!! Breakfast was amazing. Front desk staff was courteous. Had parking, for which I was grateful.

The Axiothea was excellent value. I liked being in trhe old townn away from the busier beach area. The beach was still in waling distance and there were plenty of buses. I had a lovely room overlooking the sea with a balcony which had tableand chairs as well as lounge chairs and washing lines. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and an amazing breakfast choice was provided. Thank you to all.

We had a good stay. The room was spoilt by a step up to the bathroom which we kept stubbing our toes on. The bed was acceptable but we would not want to spend more than a night on it. The breakfast was very good indeed. We paid extra for a sea and city view which was well worth it.

This is a lovely little hotel. It's not grand in any way - in fact, it is very simple, but it is friendly, spotlessly clean, and in a marvellous location. Breakfast is good (the cakes and the homemade preserves particularly) and to enjoy breakfast looking out over the whole of Paphos is fabulous. If you want five star luxury, then it isn't for you but, if you want a welcoming place with people who care, you will be in the right place.

Einfaches, aber absolut zweckmäßiges Hotel in toller Lage mit einem unschlagbaren Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ordentliches reichliches Frühstück sogar mit selbst gemachter Marmelade, von der es zum Abschied ein Geschenk gab.

I like it's location, up on the hill overlooking paphos, my room was clean and the bed was comfy, the staff at the Axiothea are friendly and helpful - and the breakfast selection is first class and you have a great view why your eating -
