The area is very convenient. Since there is no lift, it was exhausting to walk two flights of stairs with heavy luggage. The accomodation was very good.

Die Unterkunft ist nur ein paar Schritte von der Straßenbahn entfernt mit der man vom Flughafen in die Stadt fährt. ( an dieser Haltestelle ist auch gleich ein Einkaufszentrum mit einem riesigen Supermarkt) Die Unterkunft selbst ist für den Preis der Hammer die Zimmer sind sauber und schön eingerichtet mit allem was ich für einen Städtereise brauche, man kann von dort aus fast alles zu Fuß erreichen und für den Rest gibt es ja die Straßenbahn 😀 Noch zu erwähnen ist da es in einer Seitenstraße ist hatten wir nachts auch unsere Ruhe Die einzige Sache die mir aufgefallen ist es ist keine Unterkunft für Menschen die schlecht zu Fuß sind da die Treppen schmal und steil sind und es keinen Aufzug gibt

Wonderful place to stay in Bordeaux . We got a family room that was spacious for a family of 4. All the amenities were clean and modern. There is parking under a shopping center 2 blocks away. You can purchase a ticket at the hotel for 20 euro and save 4 euro. The walk to the old town is about 15 minutes, but there are plenty of buses and trams nearby. The breakfast was very nice and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this place if staying in Bordeaux.

Amazing.. will say reviews are right about one thing. If you are is poor health and walking up stairs is an issue know. This hotels stairway to the rooms is a tight spiral staircase and there are no elevators. Typical for this area of france in a small B&B such as this. I had one of the rooms that had an accompanying bedroom and it was nice and would be great for somone with a snoring partner. Parking in Bordeaux is a challenge and the parking deck two blocks over was going thru renovations so hard to find entrance. Once settled in the area this hotel is in couldnt be better, off a quite street in the center of town walking distance to all. Will return.

What a beautiful guest house. The welcome and information we received from the host was fantastic. She sat us down and went over all the attractions and transport. She showed us to our room and informed us to give her a call if we needed anything. I made the mistake of booking the suite which consisted of two rooms, so if you were a group of four this would be ideal. Just be aware it is on the 2nd floor with no lift and steep but beautiful stairs. There were 2 tram stations within a 5-minute walk, and only 2 tram stops to the main train station St Jean and a 20-minute ride from the airport. The cafes, restaurants and shops were all nearby as well as the attractions. Breakfast was sufficient all served at your table. Would absolutely stay here again.

The main pro is the location. We stayed in Marquis de Terme for 4 nights. There were for places the walks were patched and not painted over (one covered by an oddly placed picture). The head board was stained. The mirror frame was broken. The desk was stained. So were the pillowcases. The wardrobe has a shelf in the middle, so you can’t hang anything longer than a shirt. And the wine cellar mentioned on the website may exist but staff don’t tell you about it and so there is no way to get a bottle. There is no area to enjoy one anyway.

This B&B is well located for the centre of Bordeaux but a short walk on a quiet street. Our Maquis de Termes room was spacious with a comfortable Queen bed, and a small balcony which was pleasant to sit on in the sunshine. The hotel is well connected for the hotel bus and tram network. I didn't realise check-in was 5-8pm but so after calling me to let me know they sent me entry details by whatsapp which were straight forward to use. Breakfasts a mix of pastries, meats, cheese, cereals etc and a good amount of food. On our last day we appreciated they left us a packed breakfast in the room fridge as we had an early flight. Would definitely return. The only thing which could have been improved was the housekeeping. There wasn't a spare toilet roll in the room (so I took one from the communal toilet half way through our stay when we needed it). Also, the shower was spraying water from one of the joints which meant the bath mat outside the shower was soaked all the time. I expected they would have topped up the toilet roll and maybe changed the bathmat (or fixed the shower) but it was still on the floor where we left them each day. There was a radiator we used to dry it out but I don't think it was ever fully dry. Otherwise we had a great stay and I would recommend this place to others.

Beautiful and spacious room. Very clean and well stocked. Host was incredibly welcoming, accessible and helpful. She even booked an early taxi to the airport for us. Don’t walk from the train station, take a cab. Once at the property the walk to the center, shops, river is very close and easy to navigate.

Small but nice and very clean bed and breakfast property that is in walking distance to the old city in Bordeaux. Breakfast was simple and typical for most French breakfast but very fresh and tasty. Staff was around in the mornings but often there was no one at the desk during the afternoons, but this was never a problem for us. There is some street noise, but everything quieted down by 11 pm.

Nice little room with classic European charm and comfortable space for two. Clean, functional bathroom. Hotel is located on a quiet side street close to many amenities and both tram and train stations. My wife and I only spent three days in Bordeaux as part of a much larger trip. This hotel served its purpose nicely. I would stay again. Breakfast was included, but pretty basic, pastry eggs and coffee. Staff is on site during business hours and via WhatsApp after hours, but otherwise you are on your own. Aurore helped us at check in and was very nice and helpful providing us with a map which she highlighted and marked places to find good food and sights to see in the city. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had no issues.

The room was nice, clean, country-chic and charming. It’s has a small balcony when my husband and I had a vine and cheese. Great location on a quiet street but close the historical center of the beach Boudreaux.

I had one of the rooms that had an accompanying bedroom and it was nice and would be great for somone with a snoring partner. Parking in Bordeaux is a challenge and the parking deck two blocks over was going thru renovations so hard to find entrance. Once settled in the area this hotel is in couldnt be better, off a quite street in the center of town walking distance to all. Will return.

The rooms were really sweet and quaint and we loved the little balcony. Breakfast was very nice and the location was great and very quiet at night Our only issue was the Wi-Fi. It just didn’t work.

Hotel is located on a quiet side street close to many amenities and both tram and train stations. My wife and I only spent three days in Bordeaux as part of a much larger trip. The head board was stained. The mirror frame was broken. The desk was stained. So were the pillowcases. The wardrobe has a shelf in the middle, so you can’t hang anything longer than a shirt. And the wine cellar mentioned on the website may exist but staff don’t tell you about it and so there is no way to get a bottle. There is no area to enjoy one anyway.

This B&B is well located for the centre of Bordeaux but a short walk on a quiet street. Our Maquis de Termes room was spacious with a comfortable Queen bed, and a small balcony which was pleasant to sit on in the sunshine. The hotel is well connected for the hotel bus and tram network. I didn't realise check-in was 5-8pm but so after calling me to let me know they sent me entry details by whatsapp which were straight forward to use. Breakfasts a mix of pastries, meats, cheese, cereals etc and a good amount of food. On our last day we appreciated they left us a packed breakfast in the room fridge as we had an early flight. Would definitely return. The only thing which could have been improved was the housekeeping. There wasn't a spare toilet roll in the room (so I took one from the communal toilet half way through our stay when we needed it). Also, the shower was spraying water from one of the joints which meant the bath mat outside the shower was soaked all the time. I expected they would have topped up the toilet roll and maybe changed the bathmat (or fixed the shower) but it was still on the floor where we left them each day. There was a radiator we used to dry it out but I don't think it was ever fully dry. Otherwise we had a great stay and I would recommend this place to others.

Beautiful and spacious room. Very clean and well stocked. Host was incredibly welcoming, accessible and helpful. She even booked an early taxi to the airport for us. Don’t walk from the train station, take a cab. Once at the property the walk to the center, shops, river is very close and easy to navigate.

You can purchase a ticket at the hotel for 20 euro and save 4 euro. The walk to the old town is about 15 minutes, but there are plenty of buses and trams nearby. The breakfast was very nice and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this place if staying in Bordeaux.

Die Unterkunft ist nur ein paar Schritte von der Straßenbahn entfernt mit der man vom Flughafen in die Stadt fährt. ( an dieser Haltestelle ist auch gleich ein Einkaufszentrum mit einem riesigen Supermarkt) Die Unterkunft selbst ist für den Preis der Hammer die Zimmer sind sauber und schön eingerichtet mit allem was ich für einen Städtereise brauche, man kann von dort aus fast alles zu Fuß erreichen und für den Rest gibt es ja die Straßenbahn 😀 Noch zu erwähnen ist da es in einer Seitenstraße ist hatten wir nachts auch unsere Ruhe Die einzige Sache die mir aufgefallen ist es ist keine Unterkunft für Menschen die schlecht zu Fuß sind da die Treppen schmal und steil sind und es keinen Aufzug gibt

We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast room was cosy and inviting, making it a pleasant way to start the day. We also appreciated having a fan in the room, and to our surprise, we discovered just before leaving that the room also had air conditioning – a nice bonus that would have been useful during the warm weather. The biggest advantage of this accommodation is its excellent location. It is just a short walk from Bordeaux’s beautiful old town, making it easy to explore the city’s historic streets, restaurants, and attractions on foot. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Bordeaux.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast room was cosy and inviting, making it a pleasant way to start the day. We also appreciated having a fan in the room, and to our surprise, we discovered just before leaving that the room also had air conditioning – a nice bonus that would have been useful during the warm weather. The biggest advantage of this accommodation is its excellent location. It is just a short walk from Bordeaux’s beautiful old town, making it easy to explore the city’s historic streets, restaurants, and attractions on foot. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Bordeaux.
