Holiday Inn Resort Deadwood Mountain Grand by IHG

Great dog path right outside the hotel! Very pet friendly! Highlights: quiet, clean, and comfortable bed. Low point, hiking through casino maze to find poorly marked hotel elevator could be designed within the theme of property, easier to navigate, no bathtub despite premium price, and no valets to help with luggage, parking, and disabled guests. Staff was friendly, and welcoming to my four legged family member. Breakfast? Go downstairs for a decent South Dakota breakfast at reasonably OK prices. I ate at the sportsbook bar and had an excellent steak with broccoli. Take a nice walk around historic Deadwood, there are great trails that are close by. There is a nice little dog park just across the street. Quiet rooms yet close to the action! Check out was effortless.

Our room had a balcony and the beauty of the Black hills could be seen at night and it was so starry out that night OMg!! What a hit having a casino and a restroom just down the stairs!! Awesome memories!!! And it was a workshop so convenient!!

The breakfast was good, the staff friendly. The hot tub was great.
