Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Parking lot was large for boats and trailers. You really can’t beat it for the price.

Wish the room had some outlets by the bed.

This place is definitely dated, but well cleaned. If you are on the ground floor there is ample noise coming from the upstairs room which detracts to the stay as you can hear every footstep and cough etc. There is ample parking for big trucks or trailers and the front staff are very pleasant. The bed itself was older but quite comfortable. There are ample places to eat around the area, but majority close at 8 (even if online says 9) If you need gas the owner at the 76 is extremely friendly and will offer full serve gas pumping for you.

I stayed here 3 weeks prior and everything was great so I returned. Everything was good. One exception. I hadn't seen this before but the headboard had USB outlets on each side. Handy! I plugged my phone and laptop in. In the morning I found neither had charged. The USB and the Wall lights are all on the same circuit as the entry switch. To turn out the lights in the room I had to use the switch by the door. The room was good and I will probably return but I know not to use the USB with the lights turned off.

Nice motel. All the standard amenities are available- including the mini fridge-freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. Seemed they could use a bit more help in housekeeping, but the room and grounds were adequate. The upper rooms have a decent distant ocean view.

It’s basic. Clean. Two stories, no elevator. Older building and furniture, although the bed was comfortable. But if you stay more than one night they don’t make the bed up. They do drop off clean towels. No breakfast. Coffee machine, noisy little fridge and a microwave in the king bed room. It’s fine for a one nighter on the way through, but invest a bit more and get some amenities elsewhere if you’re planning to stay in the area.

Room was filthy. Sheets dirty, bed skirt had blood or ketchup, furniture not been dusted in weeks, carpet stains and bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned. Rented 3 rooms..issues with all. Front desk blamed it on overworked staff, said only had 2 employees to clean 20 rooms. Refused to stay there.

Our room was not cleaned well, a pair of pants left on the floor from people befor us and our second room had a plugged toilet that someone had plungged but did not fix so room was just left with water all over the bathroom floor when we checked in. The hotel gave our friends another room right away but 2 out of 2 rooms not cleaned well is not a good sign.

There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.

Toilet was dirty and didn’t flush well (it just needs to be replaced), no fan in the bathroom, flooring was peeling up, no deadbolt on the door.

It was falling apart moldy, gross, bathtub had hair, towel were so old the were almost a grey. Not sure they were washed even. Filters to air / heat were covered thick. Yuk

The staff was amazing. The room needs updated badly. The beds were comfortable however it smelled like urine and mildew and the bathroom had spots of uncovered mold visible. For the price i paid i dont want to see mold or smell pee.

Overall, the hotel room looked great. The bed was clean and comfortable, and everything was as described. Our main complaint is that, although the (uncarpeted) floors looked clean, it appears they had not been mopped for quite some time. My bare feet became very dirty after I had showered and then walked around in the room for a little bit. I had to wash them again before I got into bed. Also, the towels are very dingy and rough. Time for an upgrade.

We got this room because, we operate a food truck and had a two day event we were working. First off I have stayed at very many differant hotels flea bag hotels to high end suites. I made the reservation and was told I would not have to pay until arrival. Come to find out they ran my card almost four hours early. Second comes the shower head that is so short it was lower than my neck. My wife who is barley 5 foot didnt even fit under the shower head. Very disappointed as after a sweaty hard days work. There is nothing like a hot shower. Then we get to the beds. Well they were disappointing and very uncomfortable. Couldn't get much sleep and woke up hurting more than when I went to bed. Won't be recommending this to anyone I deal with at the many events I attend. Spend the extra few bucks and get the little bit better hotel. I also got called the next day to verify if I had a reservation or not even though I was already checked in.

Basic accommodations at a reasonable price. The bed was advertised as a Queen, but this was a ‘Motel Queen’ which is really a Full. Bed comfort was okay, not luxurious by any means but did allow for restful sleep. Walls were thin and we were easily able to hear our neighbor snoring. Fortunately we were completely exhausted from driving all day. Room condition was rough but not unacceptable. The toilet did run all night but due to exhaustion we were able to get a decent amount of sleep. Overall the establishment served its purpose at a reasonable price. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

It was a nice place if I had a complaint at all it would be the flooring was not carpeted which if you have someone above you on the 2nd floor you hear evevry step.

They advertise the Ocean view, which is a joke. You may be able to se a little glimpse of some water thru the houses and trees in the front on a lucky day when all the stars are aligned. LOL. If you are looking for an Ocean view, look somewhere else.

There were some pros and cons to this hotel room. The pros: The water pressure in the shower was great! The cons: The room smelled like mildew and stale cigarettes. The grout/tile floor in the bathroom was cracked. When you walked on it, water would seep up from understand. I think the water was coming from the toilet. The person above us was dropping heavy objects and walking around loudly ALL night. Not exaggerating. We weren't able to get any sleep. It wasn't just loud stomping sounds, it was also a sharp cracking sound coming from the ceiling. Maybe just an old building? At times, the sharp cracking sound was worse than the heavy walking. I will not be staying at this hotel again in the future.

You can hear everything through the walls. Building seems old. Needs some work and lots of TLC.

The room was clean and comfortable for our quick stay on the coast. And very affordable. We'll be back for sure. My favorite part was the view and access to an even better view after a quick walk. The only downside I found was that with a 6" tall man, the shower head only came to his chest. That didn't work out quite well for him.

Thin walls allowed ALL outside noise in. Upstairs flooring was extremely squeeky. Room needs an update. Outdated furniture

Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

The woman who was running the place was somewhat rude. She felt the need to lecture us about not smoking in the rooms and bringing in pets. She did this repeatedly. When She was told that we do not smoke and do not have a pet, she became defensive. It was like she thought she was doing us a favor by allowing us to stay at the hotel, even though we paid to stay there. Ironically, they even dared to leave a tip envelope on the dresser. We spent under 8 hours in the room and did nothing but sleep. We didn't even bring a scrap of garbage for the waste can, yet we left feeling like we had been bad customers. I think their staff needs to remember that if they want customers they should be grateful people choose their establishment and that it's the customers keeping their business alive. I do not recommend this business.

Totally nice room completely renovated, excellent hot shower, lots of TV channel options, including many HBO channels. Very nice staff probably the hotel in the area can’t beat the price.

Rich the desk clerk was amazing! He was willing to to answer any questions I had about the area. He went above and beyond giving me options of where to eat dinner, etc. He was just very personable, very nice, very friendly and a lot of help!

Arrived about 10:30 PM to check-in but the office was locked and dark. Pressed a buzzer numerous times and after 10 or 15 minutes a man came to the door and checked me in. Once in the room, the toilet was plugged up. The phone provided in the room was dead. I found the phone number on the room receipt and called the number to only get voice mail. Left a message asking for a plunger. I did not receive a call back and left about 7:30 AM.

Stay as far away from this place as possible! The woman at the desk in the evening is beyond rude! She charged me almost double to go from a 1 queen to a 2 queen and then said she would give me one night free to make up for it. I then was charged another night at the end of my stay-a charge that I never OK’d! When I called to inquire about this she was so rude and belittling. There’s lots of places to stay in the area -this is nothing special-ice machine and water didn’t work, it was loud much of the time and offers no amenities for the price. Very underwhelmed.

The room was as expected for an inexpensive motel at the coast - had everything needed, nothing fancy. It triggered my allergies a bit and when I looked under the bed at the end to be sure we weren't leaving anything, I saw why - the bottom fabric of the box spring had fallen down to the floor, still attached, so apparently that area had not been vacuumed in quite awhile and there was plenty of dust. Still I would have rated it one higher if not for the commercial truck parking right outside. Between our room and the "ocean view" - just on the other side of the fairly narrow parking area for the motel - is commercial truck parking. The first night there was a tractor trailer parked lengthwise across, not the view I'd imagined from the description. The second night I was woken up at 4am as the log trucks got going right outside our room. It's a real shame because if there wasn't commercial truck parking right there it would really be much nicer. As it is I felt a bit misled.

The location was off route 101, yet was very quiet. We could watch the sunset over the ocean from a distance through the trees. The room was clean and parking was easy.

A dirt lot in front of the rooms was parking for logging trucks. The first truck started making noise prior to 3am. In all, there were 5 trucks parked in the same dirt lot. Over a span of 2 hours, one by one, each driver showed up and started and warmed up their rig. For the most of 3 hours we didn't sleep

Great service and quality, especially for the price. We booked 2 rooms....one for us and one for our out of town guests. One room was updated and really nice. Our room had not been updated yet....older furniture and bathroom fixtures, but it was very clean and comfortable. Looking forward to another visit after all the rooms have been upgraded. Beautiful view of the sunset from just past the parking lot and our friend appreciated being so close to the walk way down to Harris Beach and the overlook.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is within minutes of Harris Beach and downtown shopping, so it was a super convenient location. The beds and pillows were very comfortable (I'm really picky so that was important to me). The room was clean. The only two reasons I'm not giving 5 stars: 1) no extra security lock on the door (like a chain or other; I was traveling with my 14 yr old daughter and a friend so I would have preferred this, although I didn't feel unsafe or anything, just wanted the extra security), and 2) the bottom floor was very noisy with families letting their unruly children run around and stomp until about 11:30pm at night above us. Some enforcement of quite hours would have been preferred. Despite those two minor issues, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Cute place, great room, comfortable bed, definitely an older building as you could constantly hear the people above us walking around, them up at 4am to go fishing was not my favorite, but overall quiet and cozy. Definitely will be back. We were walking distance to a cute little donut shop as there is no breakfast at the motel, so that was nice.

I had a one-night stay at Americoast Inn in June 2025. A friend and I shared a standard (not-handicap-accessible) room with two queen-sized beds in the lower level - room 109. Check-in was quick and pleasant, and the desk attendant, Rich, was knowledgeable and helpful. He recommended a good seafood restaurant with fresh fish (Catalyst) near the Inn that we enjoyed. Of note, the front desk has limited hours and closes at 10pm. I am unsure what would have happened had we had any overnight issues. Fortunately we had an enjoyable stay. The parking lot was clean and had ample space near our room. There was a graveled side lot that someone had parked their boat in, and there was still plenty of room back there for a second boat or a small camper. Our key cards worked without difficulty, and upon entry to the room we noted it appeared clean, and was relatively cool. We realized the room was cool because the bathroom window had been left open. We closed the window and turned the heat on while we went to dinner. By the time we returned the room was a comfortable 69°F. The floors had clean-appearing carpets. The transition points between carpet and tile were low, but could create minor annoyances for anyone using a walker. The heater worked well all night and, while audible, was fairly quiet. The curtains blocked out most of the light. My friend and I are both light sleepers and we didn't wake up through the night. The beds were slightly (continued in photos) (unable to add photos)

This was an affordable and well located spot. Good recommendations for the area and nice people.
