Oak Ridge Inn

Everything was great, staff was helpful, room was clean, beds are super comfy. Only thing I think could use improvement, are the shades. They dont block out the sun well, so if your room windows are east facing, you’ll get blasted with sunlight first thing in the morning. One other thing, you can def hear through the adjoining doors. Other than that, everything else was very nice.

Oak Ridge Inn has been remodeled into a very nice, clean place to stay. We had the jacuzzis room which was large and we loved the jacuzzi. There was a microwave, a medium sized refrigerator and a nice Keurig coffee pot with Peet’s coffee. Those are very nice features in a room. The room and hotel are not fancy and do not have some of the other option of places to stay. They haven’t been opened long and are in need of attention in some areas. For one thing. The website says breakfast is included, but it is not. Housekeeping is by request only, which we didn’t know. swimming pool isn’t heated and the outdoor jacuzzi, which had just been serviced didn’t work. Hopefully, they will get the kinks out because the place has great potential with wonderful staff.

Parking was plentiful and free. Staff was very helpful though they were struggling because it is somewhat of a new operation though it has been there for some time. There is a new casino that is built behind it and they are trying to keep up with it. So far so good. The chicken next door at the Shell gas station is the best we've ever had.

The room was clean and updated. There was a slight hiccup due to my late arrival, however Tami straightened it all out. If there was a 4.5 star, I would use it.

They just reopened and it looks like we will visit again. Staff was very nice and informed.
