Close food spots and easy parking

All of the staff I had interactions with were polite and helpful. Check-in for a two night stay was easy and without issues. Upon entering the room the first thing that hit me was a pungent smell. I couldn’t place what it was but it smelled a little like staleness and uncleanliness. As I looked around the room and bathroom it appeared to be somewhat newer paint and clean. The linens were also clean and did not have a smell to them. I decided I would just run to the local store and grab a room deodorizer spray and Clorox wipes and see how that helped. I returned and wiped down all surfaces and sprayed the neutralizer spray around the room and left for an early dinner. Upon my return the room smelled much more fresh. The hotel is a bit run down with the stairs to the second floor being questionable and not consistent in depth causing my 73 year old mother to trip twice walking up them. The room was very basic. Two queen beds (a little too springy for me), small nightstand, small table with 2 chairs small refrigerator and microwave and TV. No other amenities like a hair dryer or coffee maker. The shower is very tight but I’m also not a skinny guy. The heater worked great and the A/C was intermittent but ok for March. Not sure I would want to test it on a really hot day. I return to Sanger once a year for a friend meet up and this is the first time I stayed at this hotel. I likely will not return as I prefer a little nicer hotel stay.

Dirty rooms

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very clean.

Had late arrival and were able to check in fast. Somebody knocked on our door at 4am and woke us all, but other than that the stay was good. Clean room, fridge, grocery store nearby.

We stayed overnight for a wedding we had in town. The staff was very pleasant, & friendly! The room was clean, and I was happy that we had a fridge & microwave since we brought food with us.

The owner was friendly as was his wife, but the furniture looked like it came from Goodwill.The room had a bad odor, I think it was pesticide. In the morning there were 3live german roaches in the bathroom. There was an empty shampoo tube in the shower. No amenities at all except 2 bars of soap. You could hear the traffic from the road. If we weren't so tired from the road we would of left.

it is close to park,but AC of the room 10 is too noisy to sleep, bath room smells odd ,maybe not clean with cleaner.

Management could improve as well as the cleaning crew they did not clean the room on 1 day of my stay

Stayed here once before. This room was much cleaner and the beds were more comfortable than my previous stay

The room is clean. But the air conditioner is too noise. we couldn’t sleep. We stayed 2 nights.

Under new management, the rooms have been remodeled with modern furniture, flat screen t.v., microwave and refrigerator. Such an incredible transformation! The husband and wife who manage the property are very nice. They went "above and beyond" to help us.

The owners of this property are in the works of remodeling all their rooms. We had the pleasure of staying in one of these newly remodeled rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful about options and amenities in the area. I would recommend this to travelers. It is in a perfect location for after yosemite to go to Kings Canyon and Sequoia

Nearly everything about this property is adequate or even nice. We saw evidence of lots of recent paint and improvements, although they do look like a DIY job, since spots are missed. Nevertheless, things look clean and comfortable. Our problem with our stay was that it was 90-100 degrees INSIDE the room when we checked in at 9 PM. I do understand that there's no way to control the Central Valley summer heat, but it seems to me that since we had a reservation days in advance, the proprietor could have turned on the A/C in the late afternoon of our arrival day. Even to bring the temperature down to 75 or 80 would have been a welcome relief from outside and we could have finished off the rest. To be fair, the A/C unit did eventually bring the room down to sleeping temperature, but not until 2 AM, which gave us a restless and short night. If it hadn't been for the extreme heat in our room, I would have awarded Town House five stars, despite the DIY stuff.

The hotel itslef was clean. Staff went above and beyond expectations and were super helpful and kind.

This is our second time at this location. Extremely satisfied with everything. The lady at the front super friendly. The place is very nice.

If you are planning a double, visiting Sequoia and Yosemite on the same trip, then this place is perfectly located in between. The Owners are super nice, keep the place in good shape. It is a motel, so don't expect breakfast in bed, but they have a few secrets to share, if you want to know where to get good food in Town.

If you are planning a double, visiting Sequoia and Yosemite on the same trip, then this place is perfectly located in between. The Owners are super nice, keep the place in good shape. Rooms were clean. Noisy neighborhood. Sufficient bath linens not in room. Overpriced.
