about 5 minutes from seward in a quiet wooded area. rooms and lodge are all well maintained, comfortable and up to snuff. coffee shop in lodge and full service restaurant for all meals. shuttle bus to go into seward. there is no comparison to anything else in seward. the others are not as nice, busier, but less expensive.

Great location by the Resurrection River and Exit Glacier. Resurrection Road House Restaurant is convenient and good for dinner. Wished that there were more amenities like pool or hot tub.

We had two nights here, big comfortable room, hotel is easy to find and good car parking. Reception staff, I cannot speak too highly about them, they were brilliant when I needed them. However, as it was a two night day on the second day we got back to our room to find that towels have been changed but the beds were left unmade and coffee, cups etc were not replenished, they were only paper cups as well! When I complained to reception the first thing they said to me was are you a HollandAmerica cruise customer? Should that make any difference? of course I was not Holland America but I was a paying customer. Sloppy housekeeping meant 4 star review and not 5.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely lodge which was built in such a beautiful setting a couple of miles out of town. Our spacious room was very quiet and was a quick walk to the restaurant/bar and lobby. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful and the shuttle bus to and from downtown, the station and the harbour was very reliable.

The property was gorgeous, the staff was all great and the room was very comfortable. The greatest part of the place, in my opinion, was the shuttle. The shuttle runs every hour and takes you to a few places around town. They'll also drop you other places along the way if you ask nicely. There's no cost, and the drivers all do a great job of pointing things out, offering suggestions and just being great Seward ambassadors. There's a free city shuttle going around the town that stops at some places the Windsong shuttle doesn't go to, so between the two, you don't need to do any of your own driving if you don't want to.

The room was clean and cozy. A bit pricey. Could’ve offered a cup of coffee in the lobby at no charge, but instead there was a little coffee bar that charged five dollars for a cup of coffee. They had a restaurant on the property, but also was pricey. $25 for the breakfast buffet.

Loved this property! It has a great lodge too. Heck I’m with coffee bar and store. The entire property is very nice and feels like your in the middle of the woods. The cabins are spread out in the property and each have 6 rooms. They have a guest shuttle to take you downtown ( about 7 minute drive ) and other stops. Highly recommend!

Remote feel, clean rooms. They include a fan in the room for warmer summer days. Restaurant onsite is great for being remote. Beautiful views. Free bus transportation to town is efficient & a great perk.

The WindSong is conveniently located to Seward Alaska. They also provide a free shuttle bus to the Boat areas and to restaurants in marina boat area as well as downtown. The shuttle drivers are Kathleen and Martha and they are very friendly and informative. The WindSong is great but you just request first floor if you have difficulty with stairs and carrying luggage up stairs as there is no elevator. The Lodge has a restaurant and a coffee shop too.

We had high expectations for the property based on past reviews. The rooms are spread out across the area of the property but we didn’t mind that. The room felt dirty and there was a dead fly with dried blood on the windowsill that looked to have been there for a while. We mentioned this to the front desk and the person didn’t seem concerned, but asked if we wanted house keeping and we said yes, but upon returning to our room we only found the bath towels had been changed, so we mentioned this issue and requested cleaning for the next day. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, only the towels were changed and I mentioned the dead fly still remained plus the beds untouched. Apparently the person at front desk explained that if there was any single item of clothing on the beds, staff wouldn’t touch the bed (we should’ve been told before, not after, the fact). The flu remained there at check out. The area around is beautiful so that’s the only reason to recommend. The restaurant next door was expectedly busy for breakfast, long wait time for pancakes and french toast (which was cold, even a table next to us had cold French toast). We couldn’t wait another 30 minutes for a fresh dish after having waited a while already, as we had a tour to get to, so we mentioned this to the staff who deducted 30% off the item from the bill. I would eat elsewhere as the value for money and quality of food isn’t great.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The room was as described and extremely clean. The lobby was beautiful with a cozy fireplace for the chilly/cloudy day I arrived. My only regret was that I only needed to stay one night. If I go back to Seward, I will definitely be booking it here again.

Booked this stay based on the positive online reviews. Pros: beautiful and convenient location, easy check in, easy parking, quiet. 5 minutes to town. Cons: unfortunately not clean. We immediately requested a vacuum to clean the floors ourselves (visible dirt, chunks of something around in the carpet) and had to clean the bathroom floor of quite a few hairs that were not ours. Toilet seat was loose and needed replacement.

Windsong Lodge was great. It's close to the main city and Kenai Fjords national park Rooms are spacious and clean, although they didn't have a microwave. Would definitely stay there again. Staff was very friendly too.

Everything was great. Only complaint I would have would be the bathroom. Kinda dim, not good water pressure, and the sink is outside the bathroom next to the beds. Personal preference

We were put in the Windflower building. The property is nice and the room was fairly clean. However there is some maintenance issue, possibly with the pipes. When using any water, there is a VERY loud vibrating sound from the walls. It also appears to be happening when we aren't using the water, but possibly when other rooms in the bldging run water as well. Not the peaceful night sleep we were envisioning for the price.

This is a great option right outside Seward port. Nice and clean…but an older property. No AC and the bathroom sink was beside the bed (odd layout). However the grounds were gorgeous and the Reaurrection Roadhouse food was amazing!

We enjoyed our 1-night stay at this property. The onsite restaurant is amazing, and a must try. The hotel offers a shuttle to the town of Seward, which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and offered great tips, including allowing us to park our car at the hotel when we went on our 8.5 hour glacier cruise in Seward. The only reason for a 4 star rating, is the layout is the room. Our room had the bathroom sink outside the bathroom - not great for those sleeping.

While the lodge is fairly new, and the decor is charming, there is very little insulation or sound proofing. Each unit has 8 or so rooms, and you can hear all the other guests walking, toilets flushing, showers running etc. When others go up and down the outdoor stairs or walk along the porches, it sounds like an army going by. We stayed 3 nights with different neighbors but it was loud no matter who was around. The Hotel and staff are seasonal, and since we stayed early in the season, no one seemed to know what they were doing. From checking in to getting coffee from the breakfast bar, every staff member was confused or incompetent. Room was missing a microwave and there was no iron either. Free shuttle to points around town was a pleasant bonus.

The lodge itself is very charming — the cabins have that cozy, rustic feel and the setting along the road to Exit Glacier is beautiful. It really feels like a peaceful getaway in the woods. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by how thin the walls are. We could hear absolutely everything going on in the cabin next door, and let’s just say it was not the kind of “wilderness sounds” we were hoping for. It made it very hard to get any sleep with all the noise and excitement coming through the walls. Overall, it’s a cute place in a great location, but soundproofing is a serious issue. Be prepared — you may end up hearing more than just the glacier river running by.

Very poorly insulated for noise. Try to get an upstairs room because otherwise you will hear every footstep, door opening, toilet flush, etc. it is loud! Rooms need modernization. Location is amazing.

Great location, cozy atmosphere in a beautiful forest, the rooms are a little dated though and it was hard to reach a comfortable temperature even though there is a thermostat in the room. The bathroom sink and mirror in the sleeping area is very impractical (you can't avoid waking up your travel partners). Great location, cozy atmosphere in a beautiful forest, the rooms are a little dated though and it was hard to reach a comfortable temperature even though there is a thermostat in the room. The bathroom sink and mirror in the sleeping area is very impractical (you can't avoid waking up your travel partners). The property could use updating and there were added costs for “amenities” that aren’t appropriate in this day and age. Properties need to stop charging hidden fees. We booked via Expedia and it clearly stated “includes all fees and taxes” and then we were billed separately. We also had charges from “Facebook Pay” for “convenience store groceries” that turned out to be for charges at the Roadhouae but this stuff needs to be more clear to the guests. The folks at the front desk were extremely friendly and the property is in a quiet and peaceful location.

First, amazing service and super easy convenient transportation. Best part is the transportation and handling of the luggage. Our luggage from train was handled to our rooms from our rooms to the cruise ship without us touching them. Close to everything too. Only complaint is late check in 4 pm no room for sooner.

The lobby is AMAZING!, As are the front desk staff! They were so welcoming, helpful and kind. I handed them a twisted mess of reservations from 3rd party sites due to a change in plans, they ironed it out promptly and accommodated us to our liking. A big thank you to them! Our rooms are squeaky clean and new!!

I was on the bottom floor so you can hear everything from the floor above you. The room doesn’t have a/c so a fan would have been nice. The staff came in the room while we were out and after we had already checked in our room and dropped off our things. And they entered the room the following morning while we were in there - before checkout time. So- that was uncomfortable but overall, I loved the lodge and the cafe and I will still definitely come again. The staff was friendly.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely lodge which was built in such a beautiful setting a couple of miles out of town. Our spacious room was very quiet and was a quick walk to the restaurant/bar and lobby. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful and the shuttle bus to and from downtown, the station and the harbour was very reliable.

Great location - nestled in wilderness yet close to the town. Great shuttle service - drivers Jimmy & Mike were friendly, helpful and informative. Kathy at front desk arranged our Exit glacier tour when we were not able to get anything since it was the 4th of July. It’s definitely overpriced (400$+ per night) but at least the experience was great!

We left a small bag of souvenirs in the shuttle at the train station. They were found and mailed to us but we were charged for the inconvenience in addition to the postage. I am not sure if this is customary but the charge seemed unreasonable given the amount of money spent on the room and at the restaurant.

Received no help or extra information at check in, just the key. The room needs a serious remodel; who wants a sink next to their bedside. Nothing modern about these rooms. The next morning I went in search for coffee and a bagel and at the breakfast restaurant was informed if I wanted breakfast i should have asked at check in. A knock at our door at 9:45am to ask when we will be checking out? I thought check out was at 11am.

Front desk staff was amazing! Super friendly and helpful young staff, notably “Micha” coordinated a mess I dealt her with changes in 3rd party reservations. Hotel was super clean and updated with super comfy beds.

Windsong Lodge was great. It's close to the main city and Kenai Fjords national park Rooms are spacious and clean, although they didn't have a microwave. Would definitely stay there again. Staff was very friendly too.

Loved this property! It has a great lodge too. Heck I’m with coffee bar and store. The entire property is very nice and feels like your in the middle of the woods. The cabins are spread out in the property and each have 6 rooms. They have a guest shuttle to take you downtown ( about 7 minute drive ) and other stops. Highly recommend!

We had high expectations for the property based on past reviews. The rooms are spread out across the area of the property but we didn’t mind that. The room felt dirty and there was a dead fly with dried blood on the windowsill that looked to have been there for a while. We mentioned this to the front desk and the person didn’t seem concerned, but asked if we wanted house keeping and we said yes, but upon returning to our room we only found the bath towels had been changed, so we mentioned this issue and requested cleaning for the next day. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, only the towels were changed and I mentioned the dead fly still remained plus the beds untouched. Apparently the person at front desk explained that if there was any single item of clothing on the beds, staff wouldn’t touch the bed (we should’ve been told before, not after, the fact). The flu remained there at check out. The area around is beautiful so that’s the only reason to recommend. The restaurant next door was expectedly busy for breakfast, long wait time for pancakes and french toast (which was cold, even a table next to us had cold French toast). We couldn’t wait another 30 minutes for a fresh dish after having waited a while already, as we had a tour to get to, so we mentioned this to the staff who deducted 30% off the item from the bill. I would eat elsewhere as the value for money and quality of food isn’t great.

The room was clean and cozy. A bit pricey. Could’ve offered a cup of coffee in the lobby at no charge, but instead there was a little coffee bar that charged five dollars for a cup of coffee. They had a restaurant on the property, but also was pricey. $25 for the breakfast buffet.

We had a 2 night stay at the property. Helpful staff, restaurant onsite available for early breakfast buffet before lots of guests catch ships in town for excursions to national park. Property has a cafe which is nice and even fridges out front of rooms with ice bags for picnics, coolers, etc... Would stay again, conveniently located just 5 minutes outside downtown. The complimentary shuttle to downtown for activities & restaurants is very convenient too.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Seaward, the premium cabins are spacious and well appointed, with a good coffee maker, their is a good shuttle bus service to the small boat harbour and downtown which runs every hour. We would stay there again, should we every be lucky enough to come back to Seaward, Alaska.
