Ewings Bar & Self-Catering Accommodation

Room & shower very clean and kitchenette & surrounding in pristine state.

Room was quite central for shops & river & the attached pub was pleasant. Adequate for short stay but very basic; beds, bathroom & tv. There is hanging space but unless you are 7ft tall you won't reach. More care needed with cleaning, dust on ridges of doors and floor in bathroom corners and around shower need some extra attention (ie a scrubbing brush).

We stayed one night in a small twin room. There was no concern with noise from the bar as the rooms are in a separate building. The room is basic, but clean and great for a quick stay. It could definitely use some maintenance and upgrades due, but reasonable for the price and you can't beat the location. No amenities except a shared kitchen and parking is paid across the street or at the town hall. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Checking in and out was smooth, nice stay.

Das Zimmer war generell sauber, allerdings mangelt es an Kleinigkeiten die aber durchaus nicht unwichtig sind. Nachttischlampen und die Fernbedienung vom Ferseher fehlten komplett. Außerdem war der Schlauch der Duschbrause undicht. Das sollte nicht nur uns als Gästen sondern auch dem Personal beim saubermachen auffallen.
