Very nice. We stayed in the apartment and was large. Facilities good and clean. Cookies and milk when we arrived to the room. Breakfast was excellent and local sourced and Irish food. We had laundry done and was all done by them and returned to our room and done well and not pricey. Our room was essentially in the Castle courtyard. We also went up in castle. It was fun and staff made it easy for us. The farm was pretty too. I would definitely recommend for service and rooms and being historic.

We had a fabulous time at Kiliane Castle. It was beyond what we hoped or imagined. The grounds were fun to explore and the castle ruins were interesting. The hotel portion is attached to the castle and was built in the 1700’s. It is well taken care of and had all the amenities of an expensive hotel. The breakfast was amazing with a buffet of homemade granola, jams and toast and a very extensive menu with made to order items, including oatmeal with Baileys Irish Cream! Everything was delicious! We also enjoyed conversing with the friendly owners throughout our stay. This is a top notice establishment, truly a highlight of our time in Ireland. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer!

Delightful stay in Killiane Castle Hotel. It's a short taxi journey from both Rosslare harbour and Wexford, and we were thrilled to be accommodated in one of the apartments. It had a fresh and contemporary feel to it, with a welcoming living room-diner area, and a comfortable, immaculate bed. All the facilities needed, including a radiator for chillier days, iron, hairdryer, and kitchen equipment. Towels in the bathroom were a bit dated, but aside from that it was perfect.

We stayed here for 1 night and wished it could have been longer. Rooms were elegant, food was delicious and the hosts were so welcoming. We walked the property and climbed the castle turret. Very memorable stay!

Loved having donkeys & chickens close by. The snug & self serve adult refreshments were a very homey touch. Breakfast was delicious. So nice to have a little later checkout so we could enjoy the castle & grounds in the morning.

Friendly welcome & we were told where our room was and that we could make use of the lounge and the honesty bar in there. There was also a little area which had tea/coffee and homemade cake which was complimentary, a lovely touch and the cake was delicious! Our room/bed was very comfortable, we didn’t have breakfast as we had to leave really early for the ferry.

This property is immaculate. The hosts are the best I have met in a long time. The bedroom and bathroom were so beautifully set out for all things required. The history of the castle is very impressive. Definitely a 5 star stay.

Very convenient for the Rosslare Harbour and a very pleasant stay at the end of our journeys to Ireland which I now look forward to. The room was perfect with such quality fixtures and furniture. The bed was comfortable and everything so clean. The breakfast was out of this world. My wife had the porridge to start with a dash of Baileys, and then the best scrambled eggs ever.i had the most amazing selection of fruits followed by a gorgeous cooked breakfast. Will definitely be back.

Very cosy and relaxed country house. Our deluxe room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Lighting was good. The breakfast is really good except for anaemic, American style coffee. The offer of a decent double esspresso or americano would make it perfect. This is an ideal one night stop before or after a ferry sailing.

The hosts of this bed and breakfast were so welcoming and hospitable. Rooms very luxurious and breakfast was sensational. Very attentive service and comfortable stay. Beds also very comfy. They made our first night in Ireland incredible experience.

This is my third stay at Killiane prior to travelling on the ferry and the experience has been consistently good. A friendly and helpful welcome. Comfortable and pleasant surroundings. Delicious breakfast and home-made cake on arrival. Highly recommended.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating, giving lots of information about Killiane Castle and the Wexford area. The house was beautiful with lovely surrounding grounds. The room we were given was perfect for us and the breakfast was delicious served fresh from the kitchen. A wonderful place to stay.

Country castle for sure. Loved walking around the property as there were many animals, gardens and neighboring properties to explore. Hosts were not welcoming at all! They seemed rather rude, stressed, too busy to be friendly. When I checked in there was only one other car in the parking area and I only saw one couple arrive while I was there. $15 euro for breakfast which I did not partake off. Only stayed one night as I was just needing a place to sleep.

This is a great place for an Irish country holiday. It is conveniently located between Saltee Islands and the Wexford Waterfowl Reserve. The breakfast is fantastic.

This is a great place for an Irish country holiday. It is conveniently located between Saltee Islands and the Wexford Waterfowl Reserve. The breakfast is fantastic.

Lovely old house inside a castle ruin. In same family for over 100 years, and a lot of care and attention to detail. The best breakfast ever. And so quiet and peaceful as it is not in a town, but only a 5-10 minute drive to Wexford.

A great experience and the couple running the hotel were very accomodating. The only down thing was the lack of good restaurants around - very mediocre. It is also a long way from nowhere, you have to drive, too far to walk

Very convenient for the Rosslare Harbour and a very pleasant stay at the end of our journeys to Ireland which I now look forward to. Very well appointed property, delicious cake for afternoon tea, and comfortable, well-heated bedrooms. The Mernagh's are delightful hosts and go the extra mile to make one feel welcome and to be of assistance

This was such a picturesque and pleasant stay. I needed something close to Rosslare ferry for the night and this was a delight. Loved seeing cows and ancient castle remnants.

We had a fabulous time at Kiliane Castle. It was beyond what we hoped or imagined. The grounds were fun to explore and the castle ruins were interesting. The hotel portion is attached to the castle and was built in the 1700’s. It is well taken care of and had all the amenities of an expensive hotel. The breakfast was amazing with a buffet of homemade granola, jams and toast and a very extensive menu with made to order items, including oatmeal with Baileys Irish Cream! Everything was delicious! We also enjoyed conversing with the friendly owners throughout our stay. This is a top notice establishment, truly a highlight of our time in Ireland. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer!

Very cosy and relaxed country house. Our deluxe room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Lighting was good. The breakfast is really good except for anaemic, American style coffee. The offer of a decent double esspresso or americano would make it perfect. This is an ideal one night stop before or after a ferry sailing.

Country castle for sure. Loved walking around the property as there were many animals, gardens and neighboring properties to explore. Hosts were not welcoming at all! They seemed rather rude, stressed, too busy to be friendly. When I checked in there was only one other car in the parking area and I only saw one couple arrive while I was there. $15 euro for breakfast which I did not partake off. Only stayed one night as I was just needing a place to sleep.

The room was perfect with such quality fixtures and furniture. The bed was comfortable and everything so clean. The breakfast was out of this world. My wife had the porridge to start with a dash of Baileys, and then the best scrambled eggs ever.i had the most amazing selection of fruits followed by a gorgeous cooked breakfast. Will definitely be back.

Great little place. Make sure you double check if you are in self catering (need to take your rubbish to the bins) vs traditional B&B room. Our room was musty, and glad we stayed when the weather was good so we could keep the windows open. An electric blanket was a random addition and made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Of all the places we've stayed in the world, Killiane Castle is my current favorite by far. Coming down the long, shaded lane, getting our first glimpse of the place and the friendly resident dog is something we won't forget. We seek out beautiful old places to stay, and there is an abundance of rich history and story attached to the castle towers and dwelling. If you don't care about that, it's just an incredibly serene and beautiful place to walk around and notice the man-made details and the natural world—wildflowers, birds, resident donkeys and cattle, and so on. Inside are the gorgeous but still cozy public rooms and private suites. The hosts have a fine sense of what guests might need, including the glass bottles of well water and fresh baked goods available most of the time. The breakfasts might be most memorable. You feel a bit like royalty with the elegant place settings and soft music, but the experience is a rare combination of elegant and relaxed. Most important, the food is abundant, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Paul and Patrycja, thank you so much for a restorative and unforgettable stay.

This was delightful. Beautiful architecture and interiors. Softest sheets ever. Outstanding breakfast. Friendly team. Great base location for exploring the south east or lots to do or see locally, rural yet so close to Wexford too. Fabulous. Thank you.

This is our venus of choice in Rosslare when we are catching the ferry back to England. Beautiful surroundings, a delightful old house well maintained and very friendly welcome. The breakfast is excellent and the afternoon cake and cookies very welcome at the end of a long journey. The room we usually stay in has been tastefully refurbished and we were very impressed with the pleasant temperature of the bedroom during very hot weather. It is this type of attention to detail that makes staying at Kiliane so pleasurable and reliable.
