Upon arrival the owner was on hand to help us with checking in and showed us straight to our lodge. The facilities are of the highest quality and you feel right at home straight away. Our 3 year old daughter loved all the toys in the garden especially the big trampoline. There is a grocery shop 4 minute drive away so whilst my wife and daughter enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the sounds of farmyard animals I was able to run off and pick up dinner. Will certainly be looking to comeback. Even if they are fully booked we may bring a camper van as they have a great looking setup for campers. The nights sleep was also top notch.

Really lovely place to stay, which is a hybrid of B&B and self catering, depending on which apartment you stay in. You essentially get the benefits of both! We had the family room which was equipped with a kitchen, which was perfect for our needs. As a result, we didn't sample the breakfast, but it looked good. Lots of nice touches in the apartment, including decor and toiletries. We stayed in November. I imagine the area might be alot busier in summer due to the adjacent campsites, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Fantàstico. Entorno tranquilo, precioso, la casita supercompleta y encantadora. Cama de matrimonio y sofa cama para 2. Lavadora y secadora. Menaje de cocina. Calentador de agua, cafetera de filtro, horno.. Cenamos en el pueblo, maravilloso. Un patio enorme para jugar las niñas. Una recepción acojedora y amable.

Staying in a part of a almost medieval stable of which the overall structure is still used. A box bed is part of the experience. Overall all needed amenities were there, including a cloth and dishwasher. The place was immaculate clean and well equipped. Well worth another stay.

We were made very welcome at Den Heijkant, our lodge was a converted barn with its own sheltered outdoor table and seating, comfortable kitchen/diner and hob/grill oven for cooking. It was very peaceful and quiet - only an occasional combine harvester & tractor to compete with the sounds of the wildlife and views of sunsets. The lodge is well situated for exploring the local area, castles, memorials, countryside, pancake restaurants and Eindhoven are all fairly close. We found the mattresses a little soft, but this was common all across the Netherlands. Breakfast was served in another beautifully converted barn - all fresh and tasty, and if you ask the current owners are happy to share the photos of how previous owners converted a set of (protected) ruins into the charming rural accommodation of Den Heijkant. We would love to come back!

Zeer ruime woonkamer en douche/toilet. Nr5 is ook geschikt voor rolstoelers. Alles schoon en compleet, ook de keuken. Wat tegenviel was het ontbreken van ontbijt, handdoek en privacy van het zitje buiten. Dat laatste omdat 5 kamers aan hetzelfde deel van het erf grenzen.

Die Unterkunft ansicht war super. Sehr Ländlich. Personal war sehr freundlich. Es war auch sehr sauber. Einzieges manko, darum auch ein Stern weniger. In der Beschreibung stand nichts von einem Schalfsofa. Da wir zu fünft mit 3 pupertierende Mädels unterwegs sind, war etwas übel.

The rental space was a great size. The bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom down. The stairs were a bit steep so care was needed if going down at nite. The farm surroundings were lovely. The restaurant cafe was only opened thur- Sunday. We did not realize this but just brought some food in from the local cheese and bakery shops and used local restaurants. You would want a car to rent here.
The rental space was a great size. The bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom down. The stairs were a bit steep so care was needed if going down at nite. The farm surroundings were lovely. Really lovely place to stay, which is a hybrid of B&B and self catering, depending on which apartment you stay in. You essentially get the benefits of both! We had the family room which was equipped with a kitchen, which was perfect for our needs. As a result, we didn't sample the breakfast, but it looked good. Lots of nice touches in the apartment, including decor and toiletries. We stayed in November. I imagine the area might be alot busier in summer due to the adjacent campsites, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The rental space was a great size. The bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom down. The stairs were a bit steep so care was needed if going down at nite. The farm surroundings were lovely. The restaurant cafe was only opened thur- Sunday. We did not realize this but just brought some food in from the local cheese and bakery shops and used local restaurants. You would want a car to rent here.

What a beautiful setting in the farm country surrounding the Dutch town of Moergestel. The 18th century barn was converted to complete apartment style rooms. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. Loved our stay.

We were made very welcome at Den Heijkant, our lodge was a converted barn with its own sheltered outdoor table and seating, comfortable kitchen/diner and hob/grill oven for cooking. It was very peaceful and quiet - only an occasional combine harvester & tractor to compete with the sounds of the wildlife and views of sunsets. The lodge is well situated for exploring the local area, castles, memorials, countryside, pancake restaurants and Eindhoven are all fairly close. We found the mattresses a little soft, but this was common all across the Netherlands. Breakfast was served in another beautifully converted barn - all fresh and tasty, and if you ask the current owners are happy to share the photos of how previous owners converted a set of (protected) ruins into the charming rural accommodation of Den Heijkant. We would love to come back!

Te duur ontbijt voor wat je maar krijgt. De drie bedden warren twee bedden en en bedje onder de trap met een slechte matras. Voor de prijs die we hebben betaald, hadden we toch beter verwacht.

A really lovely and charming place. We stayed in the studio, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The studio was very clean and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette. Nothing was missing, which made the stay very comfortable. The location is surrounded by nature, perfect if you are looking for a quiet place away from big cities and in the middle of the countryside. A big thank you for the warm welcome!

Die Unterkunft ansicht war super. Sehr Ländlich. Personal war sehr freundlich. Es war auch sehr sauber. Einzieges manko, darum auch ein Stern weniger. In der Beschreibung stand nichts von einem Schalfsofa. Da wir zu fünft mit 3 pupertierende Mädels unterwegs sind, war etwas übel.
