This paradise is situated 65 kilometers north of Salvador, in a protected area. The beach town of Imbassaí offers six kilometers of tranquil beaches, with coconut groves and sandy dunes behind. The Imbassai river runs parallel to the ocean on the main stretch of beach, forming a magnificent natural pool. Turtles come to lay eggs on the beach, and humpback whales also appear during periods of the year. Imbassai is an excellent location for surfing, fishing, horseback riding, diving,canoening,quadricycle, and hiking. The Lujimba Hostel is just a few hundred meters from the river and sea, with artistic construction, forming harmoniously with the surrounding natural environment of palm trees and fruit trees, often visited by small monkeys and tropical birds near the restaurant,police station,supermarket,etc.
