The address is currently incorrect, but the correct address is a few doors away. There is a somewhat narrow time window when staff are present to receive you, between 2:30 pm and 7 pm, unless you make specific arrangements with them. The room and bathroom were fine and there is a common area kitchen. If on foot, the location of the hotel within the walled historic city is fine, not far from the central square but up a hill. Restaurants are also nearby. The bus stop to the nearest train station in Poggibonsi is at opposite end of San Gimignano's walled historic area from the hotel, but still within 1 km. Cars may approach via limited routes but only to drop off and pick up luggage, not to park.

Very helpful and friendly service during check in. Bad smell coming from bathroom but resolved after leaving windows open for an hour. The parking at 91m is NOT free as stated in the description. It is a paying public carpark. The free parking is 10 mins walking distance from the hotel.

Notre séjour s’est bien passé mais l’arrivée a été laborieuse,le gps nous amenait dans les rues piétonnes,il serait bien que la propriétaire donne un peu de renseignements pour arriver dans l’hôtel.autre point négatif il est mentionné parking sur place gratuit,il faut le supprimer sur l’annonce car il faut se Parker sur un parking payant 15€ pour la nuit !

Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Irreführender Beschreibung auf Expedia!! Sehr inkompetenter, ungeduldiger und unfreundlicher Gastgeber. KEIN PARKPLATZ, KEIN Parkmöglchkeit. Der Gastgeber kam geeilt an und machte Check In und alles in Eile. Er führte parallel Telefonate und konnte nur floskeln in Englisch. Auch wenn ich ihm darauf aufmerksam machte dass wir Ihm nicht verstehen redete er Italienisch weiter. Um fair zu sein muss ich noch sagen dass, die Zimmer in Ordnung waren. Diese sind sauber, schön, kühl. Die lage ist sehr gut. Es liegt praktisch in der Innenstadt wenige Schritte von der Trubel entfernt, somit auch ruhig. Uns war es wichtig ein Parkplatz in der Nähe zu haben, deshalb haben wir diesen Unterkunft gewählt. Nach der Ankunft stellte es sich heraus , dass weder zu dem Unterkunft gehörend noch Öffentlich Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden sind. Der nächste Parkplatz ist Kostenpflichtig (ca. 15 Euro/Tag) , liegt in Fußläufiger Entfernung ca. 10 Min. Entfernt. Wir hatten Glück, weil wir noch ein Kostenfreier Parkplatz gefunden haben. Dies liegt noch weiter Entfernt. Zum ausladen des Gepäcks ist schon ein kurzer Halt vor der Unterkunft möglich. Auch hier Vorsicht, Google Maps führte uns durch der Menschenmenge des Altstadtes durch. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wegen der irreführender, aus meiner Sicht unehrlicher Beschreibung, wegen unfreundlichkeit und fehlender Parkplatz nicht weiterempfehlen. Die Entscheidung bleibt jedem überlassen. Ich hoffe meine Meinun

Struttura in stile col paese, stanza con il soffitto con le travi. Vicinissima a tutto: parcheggio (100 metri), Duomo e torri (2 minuti). Stanza abbastanza accogliente con letto e cuscini sufficientemente efficienti. Tutto pulito, bagno completo con necessary. Utile l'uso della cucina. Personale accogliente. Esperienza positiva. Da usare anche come base per escursioni nei ricchissimi dintorni.

We rented two rooms and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and we had a common area with a kitchen and dinning area joining the rooms like a little apartment. The city is very hilly and to reach it from the hotel is an uphill walk but it is very close to everything. Rooms were clean and everything worked well. We parked in the P4 lot and you can walk but it is a bit far with luggage.

This is not a hotel but a bed and breakfast. We booked two rooms, which had a shared kitchen area. That’s fine but there was no way to lock the entrance into our area so anyone can and did enter our private area. There is no parking on site. The paid parking is a good three block home away. The person that checked us in did not explain or answer our questions regarding the rooms or parking.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Shower access painfully tight. Some lights in the lounge flicker for a long time if turned off and on again. light globes missing in range hood. The microwave oven power cord runs over the induction cooker to wall socket. The smallest tv ever is provided. No tea or coffee. Host helpful in giving our friends a lift with their bags, and recommendations for eating out. Location is fine. Apartment is clean.

Location was good. However, the air conditioner did not work in the room and when we went to find the manager (she was very difficult to get a hold of) she basically shrugged and said they had no fans available. My older son and I couldn’t stand the lack of airflow and ended up walking around the city at 4am just to cool off. The beds are basically roll away and collapse easy so be careful if you stay here. In addition parking is not free as described. Basically they say to take your car to the city’s free parking lot which is not close to the property and was full when we were there. We ended up paying $15 to park overnight. We would never stay here again.

In centro storico a San Gimignano, quindi non si può parcheggiare ma si può arrivare lì davanti per scarico e carico bagagli. La stanza (la mia la #7) è spaziosa, silenziosa. Da sapere (per non avere sorprese) che il bagno è diviso in 2 piccoli spazi: da una parte w.c. e lavandino in vano con finestra, da un'altra parte la doccia ed il bidet, in vano cieco. Non c'è la colazione.
In centro storico a San Gimignano, quindi non si può parcheggiare ma si può arrivare lì davanti per scarico e carico bagagli. La stanza (la mia la #7) è spaziosa, silenziosa. Da sapere (per non avere sorprese) che il bagno è diviso in 2 piccoli spazi: da una parte w.c. e lavandino in vano con finestra, da un'altra parte la doccia ed il bidet, in vano cieco. Non c'è la colazione.

We were somewhat disappointed at our arrival at Donna Nobile. The check in was just a desk in a bare room and a very perfunctory welcome given. The room we were sent to had no decoration and did not look like the photos. The toilet seat was cracked, the shower area leaked quite badly, and we were given paper cups for our cups of tea. It did sour our enjoyment of San Gimignano.

In a great location, with very easy check in and knowledgable staff. Reccommendations given for food and drinks and even a wine tasting- the lady couldn't be happier to help. Room had everything we needed, towels, toiletries, wifi and hairdryer. Spare pillows and blankets. Room also had a feidge, but no drinking water. Perhaps a little dated and no warning signs of steps or low celings! Overall, for a budget hotel it was perfect!

The microwave oven power cord runs over the induction cooker to wall socket. The smallest tv ever is provided. No tea or coffee. This hotel has several rooms and apartments, some nicer and bigger than others. The pictures on Expedia show many different rooms, so it wasn’t that obvious what ours looked like from the photos. As it turned out, the room did have everything that was promised in terms of beds and amenities, but it was smaller and simpler than we expected from the photos. The location was wonderful, on a very quiet street but only a 2 minute walk from the main street through town. Our room was not very sound proof. It wasn’t a problem because the street was so quiet and our neighbors were not loud, but we could hear a pin drop in the room upstairs.

There is a somewhat narrow time window when staff are present to receive you, between 2:30 pm and 7 pm, unless you make specific arrangements with them. The room and bathroom were fine and there is a common area kitchen. If on foot, the location of the hotel within the walled historic city is fine, not far from the central square but up a hill. Restaurants are also nearby. The bus stop to the nearest train station in Poggibonsi is at opposite end of San Gimignano's walled historic area from the hotel, but still within 1 km. Location was good. However, the air conditioner did not work in the room and when we went to find the manager (she was very difficult to get a hold of) she basically shrugged and said they had no fans available. My older son and I couldn’t stand the lack of airflow and ended up walking around the city at 4am just to cool off. The beds are basically roll away and collapse easy so be careful if you stay here. In addition parking is not free as described. Basically they say to take your car to the city’s free parking lot which is not close to the property and was full when we were there. We ended up paying $15 to park overnight. We would never stay here again.

The property is close the center of the town. The person in charge of the check in was not very welcoming. She did not want to do the check in until 3:00 o’clock, and I approached her at 2:50. Expedia has the check in at 2:30 pm. She told us that Expedia has the wrong information including that there was a garden view when there isn’t. Please update the information on the site. Thank you!

Very helpful and friendly service during check in. Bad smell coming from bathroom but resolved after leaving windows open for an hour. The parking at 91m is NOT free as stated in the description. It is a paying public carpark. The free parking is 10 mins walking distance from the hotel.

We were somewhat disappointed at our arrival at Donna Nobile. The check in was just a desk in a bare room and a very perfunctory welcome given. The room we were sent to had no decoration and did not look like the photos. The toilet seat was cracked, the shower area leaked quite badly, and we were given paper cups for our cups of tea. It did sour our enjoyment of San Gimignano.

Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Irreführender Beschreibung auf Expedia!! Sehr inkompetenter, ungeduldiger und unfreundlicher Gastgeber. KEIN PARKPLATZ, KEIN Parkmöglchkeit. Der Gastgeber kam geeilt an und machte Check In und alles in Eile. Er führte parallel Telefonate und konnte nur floskeln in Englisch. Auch wenn ich ihm darauf aufmerksam machte dass wir Ihm nicht verstehen redete er Italienisch weiter. Um fair zu sein muss ich noch sagen dass, die Zimmer in Ordnung waren. Diese sind sauber, schön, kühl. Die lage ist sehr gut. Es liegt praktisch in der Innenstadt wenige Schritte von der Trubel entfernt, somit auch ruhig. Uns war es wichtig ein Parkplatz in der Nähe zu haben, deshalb haben wir diesen Unterkunft gewählt. Nach der Ankunft stellte es sich heraus , dass weder zu dem Unterkunft gehörend noch Öffentlich Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden sind. Der nächste Parkplatz ist Kostenpflichtig (ca. 15 Euro/Tag) , liegt in Fußläufiger Entfernung ca. 10 Min. Entfernt. Wir hatten Glück, weil wir noch ein Kostenfreier Parkplatz gefunden haben. Dies liegt noch weiter Entfernt. Zum ausladen des Gepäcks ist schon ein kurzer Halt vor der Unterkunft möglich. Auch hier Vorsicht, Google Maps führte uns durch der Menschenmenge des Altstadtes durch. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wegen der irreführender, aus meiner Sicht unehrlicher Beschreibung, wegen unfreundlichkeit und fehlender Parkplatz nicht weiterempfehlen. This is not a hotel but a bed and breakfast. We booked two rooms, which had a shared kitchen area. That’s fine but there was no way to lock the entrance into our area so anyone can and did enter our private area. There is no parking on site. The paid parking is a good three block home away. The person that checked us in did not explain or answer our questions regarding the rooms or parking.

In centro storico a San Gimignano, quindi non si può parcheggiare ma si può arrivare lì davanti per scarico e carico bagagli. La stanza (la mia la #7) è spaziosa, silenziosa. Da sapere (per non avere sorprese) che il bagno è diviso in 2 piccoli spazi: da una parte w.c. e lavandino in vano con finestra, da un'altra parte la doccia ed il bidet, in vano cieco. Non c'è la colazione.

We rented two rooms and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and we had a common area with a kitchen and dinning area joining the rooms like a little apartment. The city is very hilly and to reach it from the hotel is an uphill walk but it is very close to everything. Rooms were clean and everything worked well. We parked in the P4 lot and you can walk but it is a bit far with luggage.

In a great location, with very easy check in and knowledgable staff. Reccommendations given for food and drinks and even a wine tasting- the lady couldn't be happier to help. Room had everything we needed, towels, toiletries, wifi and hairdryer. Spare pillows and blankets. Room also had a feidge, but no drinking water. Perhaps a little dated and no warning signs of steps or low celings! Overall, for a budget hotel it was perfect!

Entramos por error en la zona ZTL porque leímos que era posible aparcar frente al hotel a descargar las maletas pero no es posible. Ellos pueden pasar una nota de tu matrícula por el sistema automático pero no garantizan evitar la multa. El chico fue muy directo. No se puede acceder, está prohibido y ellos no se hacen responsables si la multa te llega

We have stayed at various places in Italy during our recent trip. This place was comfortable enough. Small rooms hut adequate. No breakfast but there are plenty of places to have breakfast locally My biggest problem was that they never mentioned that this location is Ina ZTL restricted area or ask for us to provide a license plate to register. So without knowing anything we just drove up to the front and unpacked. It was only after a rather unfriendly woman at the hotel told us that we were not allowed to park there did we find out our error. This hotel needs to send a message to every guest (especially non-Italians) telling them the situation and where they can park. Another hotel in Florence sent this message to us with full details on how to navigate this aituation and asking for our license plate. I am sure that we will be fined for our error and have to pay perhaps 100s of Euros. Perhaps this review will force them to change their practice. Otherwise I would be fine staying here again.
