The building is old which can be charming and the suite was interestingly laid out. Fine for one night. I can get used to a bathroom with two doors with two sinks in the living/bedroom space but what I found frustrating was the check in process. There are no employees on site. You have to obtain a code to get into the building and another to get to your suite. This was not sent in advance. We called the number on the door without exaggeration 12 times and kept getting voicemail. Finally someone called back. Because I paid through Hotels.com they wanted to get my credit card number directly for incidentals. That's all fine if you ANSWER THE PHONE. We were hoping to have time have a nice dinner before the play but this delayed us just enough to have a very very rushed experience. To me this is not valuing or respecting your clients. All the other guests that we met said they had the exact same experience.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, nice having a 2nd space for relaxing. Self check in, easy instructions, overall a good experience. A few little things that weren't ideal. The deadbolt on the room, when leaving, didn't catch well. As the door was keypad to lock it took 3 or 4 tries to get it to lock. The jacuzzi was nice but there was no shower. There was a hose attached to the jacuzzi that extended up, but nowhere to set it up. So it was basically a handheld shower. With nothing to stop the water around it. Last, the light on the fan in the living room didnt work. Those small fixes aside, good experience.

The decor is tired. No front desk even though they offered on-line or in person check in (until 5pm). I stood outside the door giving my credit card over the phone and was then given 2 entry codes — one for the front door; one for the room — to be used every time you return. No elevator. The corridor and the room are both tired.

When we booked this room, the picture led me to understand it was a junior suite. But, it turned out to be the ‘cozy fireplace’ room, which was not at all good value: very small for the price. No one at reception to check us in, as promised, and we had to phone for a parking pass for our car to prevent being towed from the parking lot. Poorly managed and definitely not a place we would recommend or visit again.

I’m very disappointed! The photo presentation did not show the jigsaw breakup of the room!I expected more from this reservation… For instance, the room was very difficult to maneuver through….the room split the toilet area from the shower area. There were wash basins at each location in separate parts of the odd configured room. Two large pillars( ceiling support) made it difficult to get to the toilet and also, to move out of bed on the right side the headboard. In addition, I was totally surprised with having to pay for parking after paying what I paid for this room! The price paid for this room was twice as much as it should have been.😟 Anyhow, I enjoyed the location but will think twice before booking with your group,again. A Very Disappointed Client😟
