Some might find it confusing and/or slightly unseemly, especially late at night. But I never felt unsafe.

Tout était parfait, le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins et nous avons adoré séjourné dans ce riad. Le seul bémol c'est que le bain à remous n'était pas assez bien entretenu, la propreté de l'eau nous a dissuadé de nous baigner.

Amazing find in the Medina. Easily walkable to the main square and surrounding souks as well as local sites of interest Rooms were gorgeous Breakfast was fabulous Noting too much trouble Roof terrace has a small hot tub, heated by the sun. Stayed with my 12yo son. Would highly recommend

The service is above and beyond expectations. Thanks to Khadija, Abdou and the rest of the staff who took care of us. They provided good tips and tricks to make sure we feel comfortable to navigate through the city and provide excellent service at the Riad. The breakfast is very generous and delicious. The location is great if you want to be in the heart of the medina, walkable distance from the main square and other main sights. Nice view of the city from the rooftop, beautiful sunset. We will definitely come back.

Simplemente hermoso! Sólo estuvimos un par de noches, pero el staff hizo todo lo posible por hacernos sentir especiales y en casa. Nos ayudaron a arreglar el traslado de ida y regreso al aeropuerto, lo cual facilitó muchísimo nuestra estancia. Las instalaciones son hermosas y con un poco de sol, se puede aprovechar la terraza y el jacuzzi. Definitivamente regresaré la próxima vez que esté en Marrakech.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Ilayka. The riad is beautiful - in particular the rooftop and pergola - and is perfectly located in the centre of the medina. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommended staying here to anyone!

Such a wonderful property and such a fantastic location. The rooftop at sunrise and sunset is stunning. The staff were impeccable; I’d especially mention Abdul who was so attentive. Thoroughly recommend getting the Riad to arrange your transport to and from the airport as they will meet you and guide you through the maze of streets - we saw lots of tourists being taken advantage of when they hadn’t done this.

Abdul was an excellent host. The Riad was well maintained and clean and the breakfast was fantastic. If you are looking for an authentic morrocean experience, this is the place to stay in the heart of the medina. It can be confusing to get to the Riad and it's dark on the walk up to Riad at night so best off staying there in a group, not on your own.

We spent three wonderful nights at Riad Ilayka and absolutely loved it. The riad is a beautiful historic home tucked away in the Medina — super quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to everything. Our room was huge, and the bathroom was enormous with the most amazing Moroccan tile work. Every detail made us feel like royal guests! The staff were so kind, gracious, and spoke great English. We felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. Breakfast on the patio was a lovely way to start each day. It’s no surprise this place is often fully booked — we feel very lucky we managed to get a room.

The room was a bit small but very nicely presented and service was very good. Abdullah carried one of my luggage with me until the medina market close to taxi, very nice and helpful person. Generally, everyone was nice from cleaning staff to service etc. Amenities were great, would definitely stay here again.

Amazing. Everything was beautiful. The riad was so calm with us having a private terrace. Staff were lovely and I would highly recommend having dinner there one night. The food was sensational - some of the best we had while in Marrakesh.

Je ne recommande pas ce type d hébergement pour un voyage d affaires . Le Riyad n est as accessible en voiture et il faut marcher dans des ruelles salles et assez désertes pour y arriver . J e n étais pas du tout à l aise voyageant seule pour le travail. Ma chambre donnait sur la cour intérieure je devais donc laisser tout fermer pour être tranquille sinon tout le monde me voyait . Le personnel a été vraiment très gentil c est le point positif de cet hébergement.

I can completely understand why this property has such high ratings! We were so well taken care of while we were here and Azeddine went above and beyond anything that was required to make our stay as comfortable as possible! I was so tired when I came in that I felt too weak to even go back out and get food and he went and picked up takeout for us! He arranged a taxi tour around the city for us because we had a limited amount of time. Truly above and beyond! The breakfast was stunning, and the accommodations were magical. My only regret was we didn’t have more time in this amazing and unique city. I can see why people move here and stay forever.

The staff was amazing! And the whole property is beautiful, including the rooms. Note: it is not easy to arrive by taxi. The riad is through the Medina so it was a half-mile walk with our luggage though the market and narrow streets. The hosts always made us feel appreciated, safe, and welcome.

The entire team was so helpful and and accommodating to all of our needs. They assisted in travel transports, laundry, communication with excursion teams, escorting and directing to desired destinations, helping with dinner reservations, providing snacks/drinks on demand, daily room service and personal item requests were timely and most of all ensured us of room security within the road. We truly felt at home!🤗. We would love to visit again Riad Ilayka.

Very attentive staff, especially Abdul who was very helpful. The property and the rooms were beautiful. Location was convenient and only 10 minutes walk away from the main square, although the path to the main square can be a bit difficult to navigate - luckily Abdul kindly showed us the way so we didn’t get lost. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

The Staff! Azzedine and Abdelhak represent the Moroccan hospitality the world comes to enjoy. I am sorry for not taking the names of all the staff including the ladies but everyone was top of line in customer service and kindness. The breakfast was amazing and delicious. The room was a dream of the ancient books from 1000 and one night. Make sure you call the Riad so someone can meet you at the entrance of Bab Ftouh. The setting and everything was magical. Hoping to come back again. Thank you all for having us.

Abdul was excellent. He was very attentive and kind. We had a very early start to our day and he packed us a breakfast to go. He also was kind enough to help us carry our bags on our 10 minute walk to get to our pick up point for a tour that we were going on. The Riad was beautiful. Excellent service overall. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Marrakech.

Staff could not do enough to help - they are truly wonderful! A beautiful riad with exceptional interiors. Excellent attention to detail and the whole stay felt very special. Would recommend booking the airport transfer with the hotel as you are likely to get very lost without it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Ilayka. While we were only there for one night, the staff made us feel completely welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us. We arrived at 9 PM to check in, as we had just come off of a desert tour. The staff swiftly showed us to our room and helped us with our bags. We had to check out at noon, but our flight wasn't until later in the day so the staff stored our luggage, so we could go out and explore before our flight. The location of the riad is a little hard to get to, but I would recommend just calling the staff once you are in the general area and they will come and guide you back to the riad. All the facilities were just perfect, and the riad itself is beautiful. It is probably the best hotel we've stayed at and we will likely be coming back to stay, if we ever came back to Morocco. We wanted to give a special shout out to the night manager (I believe his name is Mohab, but please forgive me if I'm wrong). He was very warm, inviting, helpful and generally just made our short stay extremely pleasant. Thank you, Nadia and the rest of the team at Riad Ilayka for an unforgettable hotel experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Ilayka. While we were only there for one night, the staff made us feel completely welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us. We arrived at 9 PM to check in, as we had just come off of a desert tour. The staff swiftly showed us to our room and helped us with our bags. We had to check out at noon, but our flight wasn't until later in the day so the staff stored our luggage, so we could go out and explore before our flight. I had a wonderful stay at Riad Ilayka. The riad itself is charming, with a lovely courtyard and rooftop terrace, and my room was very well-appointed, attractive, spacious and cozy. The staff were extremely communicative and helpful in every way. The location is great for those wanting close access to the souks and a feel for the old medina. Some might find it confusing and/or slightly unseemly, especially late at night. But I never felt unsafe.

The staff was amazing! And the whole property is beautiful, including the rooms. Note: it is not easy to arrive by taxi. The riad is through the Medina so it was a half-mile walk with our luggage though the market and narrow streets. The hosts always made us feel appreciated, safe, and welcome.

Very attentive staff, especially Abdul who was very helpful. The property and the rooms were beautiful. Location was convenient and only 10 minutes walk away from the main square, although the path to the main square can be a bit difficult to navigate - luckily Abdul kindly showed us the way so we didn’t get lost. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Ilayka. The riad is beautiful - in particular the rooftop and pergola - and is perfectly located in the centre of the medina. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommended staying here to anyone!

Everything was amazing! Breakfast with basic, but it’s all you need to start your day to enjoy all the wonderful food of the city. Service was 5*. Mouaad is there any helpful in making sure I did not get lost each time I left the property.

This is a traditional Riad with very attentive staff. The breakfast was excellent and the furnishings I. The room very Moroccan. Excellent internet and right in the centre of everything- souks, restaurants. The staff were exceptional. Nothing was a bother.

Amazing. Everything was beautiful. The riad was so calm with us having a private terrace. Staff were lovely and I would highly recommend having dinner there one night. The food was sensational - some of the best we had while in Marrakesh.

Abdul was an excellent host. The Riad was well maintained and clean and the breakfast was fantastic. If you are looking for an authentic morrocean experience, this is the place to stay in the heart of the medina. It can be confusing to get to the Riad and it's dark on the walk up to Riad at night so best off staying there in a group, not on your own.

My first visit to Marrakesh was as a solo traveller, and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Riad Ilayka is a real gem hidden in the Medina. After an early start and a long journey, it was much appreciated. They were always happy to help with recommendations, from hammams to places to visit, and their suggestions were spot on. Thanks to them, I visited Jardin Majorelle and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, which ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The riad is beautiful, full of character, and very well looked after. Its location is perfect for exploring the Medina and souks, with everything within easy reach. The friendly and welcoming staff made a big difference and helped make my stay such a positive experience.
