Otroligt bra läge på hotellet med trevlig personal. Men två stjärnor innebär dåliga sängar, unken luft på rummet. Kan man ju stå ut med i ett par dar, men inte mer tycker vi.

This older hotel has rooms that were last updated in the 1970's by the looks of the materials and decor. Thoughts of the cold war era permeate. The decades old 12" tile floor seemed to be giving off a white powder evident on the bottoms on one's socks. Pillows stuffed with dryer lint. The bathroom was tiny at 5' x 5' and somewhat disturbing as the entire inside of the room is clad in a floor-to-ceiling plastic. The phone-booth shower has only two walls with a wispy curtain to contain the water, which escapes onto the remaining bathroom floor. The floor above our room hosted guests who stomped around in hiking boots, talked at outside volumes, and dropped heavy objects for a full hour at 1am for two nights. The hotel was advertising free breakfast on Google the day we checked in. Even though we had reserved the room two months in advance and were paying a higher price than the currently offered price on Google, the hotel manager informed us that the breakfast would not be included with our stay, and to speak up if we were opting in for an extra cost. Surely you can find something better in the tourist trap known as Rudesheim.
