Easily accessible & prompt access with phone call as reception not open when we arrived. Room very clean & tidy. Although there were drinking glasses & mugs, we had to request plates. We used our own knives & forks. When activated, the two 'touch' lights would turn off & on repeatedly, the owner stated he would rectify this in the morning. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Pretty ok hotel, but had to get crockery/ cutlery from reception apart from mug and teaspoon, problem was reception closed before 4.00 and before I arrived. Was toaster/microwave.

I looked under the bed and chairs because I like to see if the staff care. There was a cigarette but and a lolly and some other stuff so the cleaner doesn't bother. Fixtures were loose on towel rack and power points which was a bit concerning. There were no soap bars which was weird, just a shampoo container in the shower and a liquid soap attached to the wall near the sink. The cup was dirty around the rim, looked like spilled coffee was stuck to it. Other than that it was fine. Simple fixes if people cared.

What a lovely little surprise! This was the cleanest and freshest motel room I’ve stayed in for a while. Even the remote control was spotless! Highly recommended if you’re passing through.

Stayed here quite a few times over the years, when visiting Benalla. Great place to stay, handy to where we need to go but could do with a bit of an update. Beds were hard, and pillows needed replacing. Overall not too bad just needs a spruce up.

A nice family on-the-road stop. Highlights: easy access, quiet through the night, comfortable bed. Lowlights: 2 minute noodles were in the kettle from the last client, and the adjoining brick wall had about 4 or 5 finger-sized holes drilled into the brickwork, which were really a bit odd/creepy. We blocked them up with paper in case they were cameras? More likely just nail holes for artwork, although a bit low for that… but surely there’s a reasonable explanation. Other than that, would book again.

There wasn't anyone to check us in or out. We had to leave a phone message and go elsewhere after being told we could check in anytime after 12.30 pm. When we were called back, it was arranged how we could access our rooms. There wasn't anyone to check us out either, the office was locked. Being a long weekend, I would have thought there would have been more customer service. Having said this, the rooms were clean and comfortable but the traffic noise was a little loud for my liking.
