CHECK IN REQUIREMENTS & RESERVATIONS CONDITIONS: -All guests must have a VALID driver's licence or passport, a credit card and $20 security deposit at time of check in. If you do not have these your booking will be cancelled and you will not be checked in. -All guests must be 18 years or older. Even if accompanied by an adult. -All our dorm beds are reserved for travellers aged between 18 - 35 years only. Guests over 35 years are welcome to book private rooms only. -Check In time is after 2pm on the day of arrival. -Payment can be accepted by cash, VISA, Mastercard. American Express is not accepted. -Booking modifications and cancellations are accepted up to 2 days before arrival. - Non-Refundable Reservations can make one booking modification up 2 days before arrival. No refund will be given for any non-refundable bookings regardless of the circumstances. - If guest do not arrive on the first day of their reservation without making contact with the hostel prior, then the reservation will be cancelled and cannot be reinstated. - No refunds are provided for early checking out guests. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: -Flinders Backpackers is in the heart of the busy CBD. As such, guests may be disturbed by noise due to trams, traffic, and people on the busy streets surrounding the hostel as well as the noise from the bar and basement nightclub in the building, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are a light sleeper, please seek alternative accommodation. -The hostel is not always able to accommodate groups of 2 or more guests together in the same dorm rooms due to available beds may be in different rooms. -The 14, 16 and 18 Bed Dorms do not have bathroom on the same level as the rooms. -The hostel has strict no alcohol hours between 10pm and 12noon. No drinking or storage of alcohol is allowed in the rooms. -Smoking in the premises is totally prohibited. This includes e-cigarettes. -Flinders Backpackers has the right to refuse stay at the time of check in, if the check in requirements is not met, and/or if any person has caused problems at the property or another property in the past.
