If you ever wanna stay in Downtown Juneau, this is the absolute best place in town. The host are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable of the area. There is a great assortment of snacks, and a wonderful breakfast every morning. We will stay again!

Perfect choice for a few days stay in Juneau. We could walk to our destinations including the tour bus pick ups. Breakfast held us until dinner. Several close restaurants. Comfortable to hang out in afternoon after wet hikes or walks. Staying in a restored historic home adds a bit to the Alaska experience.

Elizabeth and Bing love what they do and their magic and creativity are deeply felt. We had such a lovely time and adored both of them. You can’t find nicer people!! We loved our room, Bing’s cookies, and an awesome breakfast. It’s walkable to downtown but thankfully, far enough away find peace from the cruise crowds. It will be your highlight of your trip. Don’t stay anywhere else!

The inn was just lovely and well taken care of. The hosts, Elizabeth and Bing, were welcoming and very accommodating. Breakfasts were excellent and snacks and drinks were available through the day. Highly recommended!

one of the best B&Bs I’ve ever been in. Everything was pristine, lots of comfy chairs in the lounge area. The bed was the most comfortable I’d ever slept in. The room was a good size. I will say that a lot of people like claw-foot tubs but I’m not a fan but it was fine. The breakfasts were phenomenal. The cook should start his own restaurant. Would stay here again in the heartbeat.

We really appreciated the extra mile that the hosts put into making our stay welcoming and comfortable. The extra tea, coffee, and snacks were great! Our favorite had to be the breakfast to go goodie bag that was made up for us. Our weekend in Juneau was perfect. We are already looking forward to staying here again.

This is a beautifully restored building in a convenient location. The hosts are lovely; very knowledgeable about the area and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and served on a beautifully set table. The late afternoon wine was a real treat. While there was a slight mix up with rooms, it all worked out and we were quite comfortable where we ended up.

The property itself is an incredible find. The house has been impeccably restored to its original early-1900's style, but with all the modern amenities you could want. It's cozy and warm, plus the breakfast is AMAZING. Elizabeth and Bing (caretakers during our stay) were kind and friendly. Great spot!

The house is a beautifully maintained Craftsman home, with great bathroom upgrades and the bed is unbelievably comfortable! The breakfasts were amazing! Fresh fruits and vegetables, imaginative dishes, very tasty. The service was excellent. The house is across the street from the Capital, so perfect for our trip to meet with legislators.

Both of the hosts, Bing & Elizabeth, were wonderful! They made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable & very clean. The breakfast was GREAT each morning! They offered ideas of things to do and also shared a discount pass for the tram. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this B & B and would stay there again for sure!

This is a wonderful, comfortable place to stay. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the proprietor established a friendly relaxed atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. The breakfast was large and delicious. We would love to stay here again.

Gene and Elizabeth were amazing hosts. So inviting and friendly and helped with suggestions which all turned out to be great. Breakfast was top notch. Rooms are nice but walls are thin. Safe area and walkable into town. Highly recommend.

This was my second stay at the B B and I just love it. I love the great location and the breakfast is so beautifully put together. Elizabeth and Bing do a great job of making you feel at home. It's very close to a ton of hiking and you absolutely don't need a car. I always end my trips to Juneau here at Capital B B because I feel so relaxed here. I highly recommend booking this spot!!!

The best bed and breakfast experience we have had. The sweetest couple run it and both are so accommodating and hospitable. They think of things you don’t even think about that you may need. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was beyond amazing. Picture perfect and tasted as good as it looked. I highly recommend.

We stayed at Alaska’s Capital Inn during Christmas 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. The inn is steeped in Juneau’s history, offering a unique charm that makes you feel connected to the town’s past. The hosts, Elizabeth and Bing, are incredibly hospitable, professional, and friendly. They went above and beyond to provide us with excellent recommendations for exploring Juneau, all of which turned out to be perfect for our visit. The highlight of our stay was the delicious Christmas dinner they prepared and shared with us—a truly special and heartwarming gesture. The breakfasts were equally amazing: hearty, fulfilling, and the perfect way to start the day. Our room was cozy and full of authentic historic details that added to the inn’s character. Most hospital location we have visited in years. We had the misfortune to arrive in Juneau to find that our luggage had been transferred to a cruise ship …the ship had sailed with our four suitcases. The next day Elizabeth and Bing the proprietors of the Alaskan Capital Inn while looking after us also chased airlines/ transport companies to ensure that our four suitcases were located and returned to Juneau from Skagway where the cruise line had taken them! They then drove us to Juneau airport Cargo depot to collect the four pieces of luggage- when thanked their response ‘this is what we do’ …

Both of the hosts, Bing & Elizabeth, were wonderful! They made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable & very clean. The breakfast was GREAT each morning! They offered ideas of things to do and also shared a discount pass for the tram. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this B & B and would stay there again for sure!

We had a nice stay at this lovely house, within an easy walk of downtown, but away from the crowds of tourists. Breakfast was delicious! Our hosts arranged our transport to the airport and we really appreciated the “to go” snacks packed for our early morning departure.

This was my second stay at the B B and I just love it. I love the great location and the breakfast is so beautifully put together. Elizabeth and Bing do a great job of making you feel at home. It's very close to a ton of hiking and you absolutely don't need a car. I always end my trips to Juneau here at Capital B B because I feel so relaxed here. I highly recommend booking this spot!!!

The house is a beautifully maintained Craftsman home, with great bathroom upgrades and the bed is unbelievably comfortable! The breakfasts were amazing! Fresh fruits and vegetables, imaginative dishes, very tasty. The service was excellent. The house is across the street from the Capital, so perfect for our trip to meet with legislators.

Perfect choice for a few days stay in Juneau. We could walk to our destinations including the tour bus pick ups. Breakfast held us until dinner. Several close restaurants. Comfortable to hang out in afternoon after wet hikes or walks. Staying in a restored historic home adds a bit to the Alaska experience.

The best bed and breakfast experience we have had. The sweetest couple run it and both are so accommodating and hospitable. They think of things you don’t even think about that you may need. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was beyond amazing. Picture perfect and tasted as good as it looked. I highly recommend.

This is a wonderful, comfortable place to stay. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the proprietor established a friendly relaxed atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. The breakfast was large and delicious. We would love to stay here again.

one of the best B&Bs I’ve ever been in. Everything was pristine, lots of comfy chairs in the lounge area. The bed was the most comfortable I’d ever slept in. The room was a good size. I will say that a lot of people like claw-foot tubs but I’m not a fan but it was fine. The breakfasts were phenomenal. The cook should start his own restaurant. Would stay here again in the heartbeat.

Our stay at the Inn was an amazing experience. Lesley, the Innkeeper, has a heart of gold and serves her customers remarkably well. I, unfortunately had a bad flu, picked up on a cruise ship, after checking in. Lesley made hot chicken soup, offered liquids and even drove me to the local walk in clinic for a medical check. She carefully isolated my wife and I so that we would not affect other guests. Care beyond any expectation. The facilities and food are excellent. The customer care is exceptional. Thank you Lesley! The innkeeper is lovely and helpful. The house is charming. As I arrived in the middle of the night, they accommodated me with a late breakfast. And the added bonus was Wally, the fabulous resident dog. The only complaint is that he wasn´t allowed upstairs, so I couldn´t cuddle him overnight!
