I love that its in the same town as my Granddaughters. They love spending time with us . What I dont like is the run down, not inviting area for swimming pool, hot tub, restroom not near pool.. it needs a renovation.

The property was okay and the room well laid out. The location was off the highway and quiet. A few things bothered us. The automatic front door entrance was not working and you had to pry the door open to get in and out with your luggage. The wifi was not working. The hot tub was closed. There was a terrible smell in the hallway on the first floor in the evening of our checkin The gas fireplace in the lobby was not turned on which would have made it more inviting.

Mold on the celing in the bathroom. Room smelled, doesn’t help when there is no fan in the bathroom. Hot water, doesn’t get hot. Ok to take a shower but nothing more. Left it running for 10 min before it even started getting warm. Bed’s are very warm, lots of lumps, bumps and can feel the springs. Walls are thin, can hear conversations and the tv going next door. The lady at the front desk was very friendly.

The property was not what I expected. The room door was broken, the entire hotel smelled terrible, the carpets were dirty, the toilet had mold growing in the bowl…I checked out within an hour because there’s no way I could stay there. The staff was rude when I turned in the key cards.

The price was fair and the amenities were good, however found bed bugs. At check out found out there were other complaints and an exterminator was coming but not helpful to amount of washing and sanitizing I had to do once home to ensure I didn’t bring them home.

Yuck. We had an awful stay. Paid for an upgraded room but it was really dirty. Smelled like a pet room, the bathroom door was super dirty of but sides with visual spots and crud, was gross to the touch. Made the mistake of letting my 9yo son(blonde) use the jetted tub in the room and when we drained the water, the tub was lined with tons of black hairs and some sort of disgusting scum. Didn’t feel comfortable taking my shoes off in the room. Pool area was very dingy and dark and reeked of over chlorinated water. Floor in the breakfast area was very sticky and made audible sounds while walking. All of the breakfast food was cold. Never again.

Staff was fair considering we found bedbugs in our bed. We were in town because we suffered a loss, and this was the last thing we needed to deal with. I would not reccomend staying here until they get the place fumigated.

Room stunk, and was sticky..,no internet for 2 days, food area was dirty and food was cold and gross (except for waffles and yogurt) hot tub jets didn’t work and Debbie was rude. The other front desk ladies were awesome tho! Housekeeping was kind on second day.

Staff awesome. Bed comfortable. Clean. Breakfast good, albeit could have more healthier choices. Wi-fi down our entire stay. Electric outlet in Bathroom non-functional. Recumbent bike in gym and jacuzzi jets broken. Motion detector lights in exercise room and public bathroom turn off in about 10 seconds. Very inconvenient and unsafe.

The room initially assigned had a terrible odor that management knew about but was remediated with the assignment of a different room. No WiFi was available during stay, inconvenient and in this day, is expected to be available, especially if advertised as having it. Would not recommend a stay at the facility.

I was a bit concerned about being near I5 but the hotel is set back a ways and I got a room on the backside, noise was minimal. Except, the heating unit in my room occasional made a LOT of noise during startup. So, not so good.

Not very good wifi. The Lamps by the bed were not plugged in. A plastic sweep on the bottom edge of the bathroom door that makes loud noise when you open it and close it. The breakfast was good. Awesome cookies.

This place is great, the clerk was excellent and helped me fixed what EXPEDIA messed up with my reservation… I actually called EXPEDIA to fix my reservation and they charged me $37.70 and said they fixed it and was not true…I end up calling the hotel and found out it was not…I called EXPEDIA again and the guy even called the hotel to wave the penalty and he said everything was fixed…I even got an email stating that change but it was all a lied.. Very, very disappointed with the service EXPEDIA provided… At the end the lady from the hotel fixed everything My hero EXPEDIA SERVICE DUCKS

Pros - fairly clean Cons - run down and in need of major renovations, service sucked, unprepared Story - They were out of room keys when we checked in so a staff member had to walk us and let us in the room. I almost laughed when the guy explained they had run out and the spares were locked in the safe and he couldn’t get to them. It took an hour to get linens for the pull out couch the night we checked in. My little one was ready for bed and this really sucked. The pull out mattress was so bad that the second night she came in bed with me. The most annoying part of the whole thing was getting my late check out issue (I called and the front desk told me I could check out at 12:00 and they would make a not of this). I came back at 11:00 and they room door was wide open and they had taken my ice cream out of the freezer and left it out and it was all melted. Literally the whole reason why I asked for late check out was so we could come back from my kids game, grab our ice cream from the night before and eat it on the drive home. Those Ben and Jerry’s cartons are not cheap and it was a special treat for the kids. Anyway I go to the front desk person and she says let me check and sees the note but explains that whoever took it down wrote it in the wrong place. She didn’t apologize, ask how she can make it right, or do anything other than make it sound like it was my fault. So I checked out and asked for a $12 credit to cover the cost of the ice cream. They wouldn’t give it.

Staff was incredibly nice and room was good. We had to use the pull out couch and it was so uncomfortable we put the sofa mattress on the floor, but otherwise it was excellent. Roomy, clean, great staff, super convenient location to shopping and highway. Price was also very good for a room that slept 5.

I arrived after a long days travel, the hotel staff said they had been out of power for about 6 hours and it just came back on about 30 min. Ago. The staff was so very UNFRIENDLY I felt like trying to cancel my reservation and go somewhere else as I felt so unwelcome, It took almost an hour to check in even though I had Already prepaid for the room. They would not give me a room until they could put a hold on my credit card for damages, their computers were down. I told them I would be more than happy to come back down with my card when they were up and running again, but they said NO.

Registered with expedia..at a pet friendly hotel..indicated i was bringing my pet..checked in..and manager..came my room and threatened to lock me out of my room if i didnt get down to the front desk and pay a pet fee..outside area is not light well..and room is not the cleanest..i do like that the bed is on a box..that doesnt allow crap to bed left under the bed..and breakfast is nice..not sure if i will come back after the way i was treated

Registered with expedia..at a pet friendly hotel..indicated i was bringing my pet..checked in..and manager..came my room and threatened to lock me out of my room if i didnt get down to the front desk and pay a pet fee..outside area is not light well..and room is not the cleanest..i do like that the bed is on a box..that doesnt allow crap to bed left under the bed..and breakfast is nice..not sure if i will come back after the way i was treated

Our check-in was easy, the room clean, quiet, & comfortable. It was convenient with a restaurant nearby. We had two dogs and were relieved that it was not a problem. The breakfast had many options.

To get to the location is off the 5 but very confusing in getting to the location....which is hidden behind a business after you've done a turnabout twice and driven thru country road....the breakfast is okay ...other Best Westerns have been better, 50 percent of breakfast is Walmart brand....really.....the beds are hard ...pillows really firm....room large enough and comfortable....lobby great to relax...traffic off the 5 all night....the associates are all friendly and welcoming .....stay again probably not as I'm just traveling north....

Location was good. There was no where to park with our trailer. The pool area was not ventilated and hard to breathe in. Took forever to get someone for the bedding on the sofa bed.

The property was okay and the room well laid out. The location was off the highway and quiet. A few things bothered us. The automatic front door entrance was not working and you had to pry the door open to get in and out with your luggage. The wifi was not working. The hot tub was closed. There was a terrible smell in the hallway on the first floor in the evening of our checkin The gas fireplace in the lobby was not turned on which would have made it more inviting.

In addition to answers above, the breakfast was excellent, and the cookies and coffee bar were a very nice touch. I have stayed before and returned because of all the answers I have provided. The lobby, the decor in the hallways and rooms is just very welcoming and pretty, and the entire building is in excellent condition, no damage or visible repairs. Still looks like new.

The front desk service was top-notch, and the hotel rooms were immaculately clean and well-appointed. However, the breakfast was a letdown. The egg discs and paper-thin bacon were cold and greasy, and the selection was limited. Despite the breakfast issues, the rest of our stay was fantastic.

Our stay was pleasant. Staff was very nice, Room clean. Only complaint was they ran out of the main breakfast like eggs, sausage, bacon and ham. Seemed all the guests wanted tbreakfast at 8am. They were replenishing as we were leaving.

The hotel is rundown and dirty. The common areas were especially dirty - chicken on the floor in the hallway - all floors needed serious cleaning. All the vents were covered in dirt and dust and everything felt icky. The breakfast was not great either.

Front desk clerk was very nice & very efficient. Lobby was “nice”. hall to our room was dark & musty. Our room was spacious, and clean. Bed linens were clean, pillows were very lumpy. The bedside outlets wouldn’t hold a plug. The room was very dark. The fridge/freezer didn’t work at all. Shower pressure was low. Bath was clean & plenty of towels. Breakfast was terrible, bacon floating in grease & scrambled eggs cut into squares. Off the beaten track!! Would not stay here again.

Check in took a long time. The key machine was not working. At first the toilet was not working but my husband fixed it. The room and carpets could use a really good cleaning. We stayed 4 nights and never had our room cleaned. We emptied our own garbage daily and had to track down clean towels each day. The breakfast had artificial eggs and bacon. No rolls or muffins. I never saw anything refilled when items were empty. We will not stay there again when traveling to Woodland. Not worth the money we paid.

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. The biggest issue was cleanliness. I saw cockroaches on the bathroom floor, and the white bed sheet was visibly dirty with what looked like shoe or foot marks on it. It did not appear that the sheet had been properly changed. The blanket and bath towels were also not clean, and I even found someone else's hair on the towels. The carpet in the room was dirty as well. The room itself had several other problems. It took about five minutes of running the shower before I could get hot water. The trash can was so small that it became full after putting only a small amount of trash in it. The building also felt quite old and poorly maintained. The back entrance near my room did not work with my room key—the card reader remained red and would not recognize my key card. There are also very few amenities. There was no fitness room, hot tub, or swimming pool. I do want to give credit where it is due. The hotel staff were nice and seemed hardworking. I regularly saw the service and maintenance staff working in the mornings, and the breakfast was decent, with hot food available for guests. Because of that, I don't think the staff's attitude was the problem. However, I simply cannot understand why the room was allowed to be in such an unsanitary condition. Finding cockroaches, dirty bedding, hair on the towels, and dirty carpet is unacceptable for a hotel room.
