Staffs were hospitable. Checking in late could be a problem. No microwave or fridge in the room to heat/ store your food. Quiet place, good location and price considering it’s closer to Jackson. Smell of horses. My room key fell into the door crevice took long time to retrieve it back. Have dinner in Jackson before going here. Their stuff’s are as pricey as in the airport, one water and a soda bottle for $8.

No rooms have a tv. This should be stated in their written materials. All drives around property are dirt and muddy after rains. Our door had a window in it, but no window covering. The blinds over the other two windows did not fully shut. The wooden walk in front of our room had holes in it making a hazard. They advertise they have two restaurants, but really have only one. We ate in the restaurant and had 100’s of flies landing on us. No joke. Both our food orders were wrong and they acted like they could care less. It’s a horse ranch and horses draw flies. Horses are very close to rooms. They need a handy man to repair things, but it looks like they don’t care.

Large window on entry door had internal shutters sandwiched between glass and the closure mechanism was broken in the open position. No room privacy. Inadequate WiFi, no TV, no microwave or frig, 100% no lighting on stairs or near vehicle (dangerous situation). For the high price one would expect more.

Check in was very slow. Service in the restaurant was also very slow still charged 18% tip by default which is really annoying. Many flies and mosquitoes in the restaurant and property.

Definately needs a Ranch Makeover! Could make stay a little more enjoyable. No tv, internet was spotty. Room clean, but rustic. Mouse in room..was told they cannot control as in National park. View of Tetons awesome. Lodge was dark, dusty, and in need of attention. Walkways were uneven and tripping us up. Cafe was pricey and food not as good as you would expect....hamburgers absolutely a no go. We left for entire day to keep from being at the ranch until bedtime. Others were commenting same things I mentioned. Sorry but we would not rebook again.

It's important to note that my visit was in the off season. I can’t say what it would be like during the season with all activities available. I rented two rooms so my elderly father and I each had a place to stay. Lodging was essentially a bunkhouse split into six small rooms each with a bathroom. The room itself served it's purpose: it was warm and a place to sleep. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was in good condition. I had two major complaints. First, the doors did not seem very secure. While the doors shut fully, the doorknobs to both rooms seemed very loose and shaky like it wouldn't take much to break them off. There was no secondary lock (deadbolt, etc.). My bigger complaint was the lack of meaningful internet. Despite the listing saying "wi-fi available", the definition is apparently loose: it was non-existent in the rooms and I was only able to connect at all when I was right next to the main building/restaurant. With a lot of activities this may not have been an issue, but it was depressing in such a small room otherwise - not to mention that because cell service with a major carrier was also non-existent, I had no way to check on my father or for him to contact me if he fell, etc. When I asked about the wi-fi, the clerk shrugged and said, "yeah, it doesn't work around most of the rooms" and went back to reading his phone. In sum, an adequate but unrelaxing stay. Under different circumstances it may be fun, but I don't plan to stay here again.

The views from you cabin are spectacular with the Grand Tetons off in the distance. Also makes for a great location as you are only 10 minutes away from the north entrance to the Grand Tetons Park. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. However there was no mini-fridge, microwave, TV or dresser. Very disappointed since I was paying $279.00 a night. They had the space for these things but chose not to have them. There was no A/C but not that big of a deal as the weather was cool. The toilet was in the wrong place in the bathroom. There was a perfect spot by the sink but they decided to put it by the bathroom door. The Wi-Fi was spotty. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk they basically just shrugged their shoulders and said the further away you were from the server the worse the signal. The cherry on top was you needed a board to keep your window open. Definitely not worth the money.

There are NOt 2 restaurants, there is no bar, no wine no beer. No coffee creamer. The one restaurant was riddled with flies. Could be a very nice place with a bit more effort

Prior to check-in time, I asked if my room was ready. The desk person was like a cold robot, no early check-ins. While I waited, I wandered to the Heart 6 Western themed “Lodge”. Awful. It smelled of dust and mildew; the couches and rugs smelled like they hadn’t been cleaned beyond a vacuuming, forever. I went to the property bar and grill and ordered a beer. The nice bartender informed me that they had been out of beer for over a week. Once I checked-in, I walked to my room. The way crossed the property’s large wood deck on which one could sit and view the Tetons in the distance. On the deck periphery there were a few wood benches and a bunch of ugly red picnic tables packed together. And then I fell. The deck was constructed with a perimeter boardwalk and an interior circular wood construction, that formed the majority of the deck. The circular construction had collapsed in the middle, not recently I believe. In any case, as I walked across the deck, when I reached the circumference, the collapsed boardwalk angled down and caused me to misstep. I fell. From my backside, shockingly, I saw wire running on the deck floor to power lamps on the periphery of the deck. Not too happy, I arrived at my room. It smelled sickeningly and strongly of room scent cover-up. I walked from the room. There were no chairs by the room door, only a picnic table a way away. There is no cell service in the area. Heart 6 claimed wi-fi service, but there was none in my room ...

The place could be cute, but it has so many problems it doesn’t make up for anything. We stayed for 4 nights, in 2 rooms. One ran out of water when too many people used it, one had no hot water, one had marginal internet, the other had none. There is ZERO cell service, so this is an issue. The walls are paper thin, we could hear when people used the toilet, not to mention entire conversations. No screens in the window, no fan or circulation in the bathrooms, paint peeling off the walls, flies everywhere since it’s next to horses but they don’t try to manage it even in the restaurant which is super expensive. $85 for two burgers, fried pickles & one soda (the food was excellent though, when you weren’t swatting the dozens of flies). There were no lights outside the doors to get to your car and there were broken steps and ones that definitely aren’t up to code (too skinny). It had one nice shower, when the water was available and hot. We stayed in 5 places in the Yellowstone & Tetons area. This was more expensive than some and the only one that was totally unacceptable on every level. Again it could be cute, the area is spectacular, the places could be fixed up and managed better. But as of right now I highly recommend people avoid staying unless you just need a bed for the night and can sleep through other people using the bathroom and don’t need to communicate with anyone while your there!

One staff member was particularly rude and disrespectful. While other staff members witnessed this and seemed not to care. We were given one room by mistake and after moving everything in, they called and asked us to move to another room. Both rooms were filthy dirty, cobwebs, broken blinds and dust. The rudeness was unforgivable.

This hotel is one of the worst that we have ever stayed in. The check in person did not think that the two national parks surrounding the hotel were still open, which we knew was incorrect since we had just driven through one from the airport to get there. The room was filled with flies, had broken blinds, very stained bathtub, stained and torn carpets, one very tiny tube of shampoo and conditioner, a big closet with no hangers and so on. The topper was when a mouse ran out of a furnace closet into another unknown closet where the doorknob fell off. Their so called restaurant has a very limited, very expensive selection and we had to fight the flies for our food. I am surprised the health department hasn't shut them down. We canceled our second night stay and the hotel would not issue a refund.

The location is beautiful but the rooms are run down and in need of repairs. We rented a cabin and one of the bedrooms and the bath room did not have any working electrical outlets. The bathroom smelled like sewage and was very old and nasty.

This is an absolutely gorgeous location that overlooks a beautiful river and the Grand Teton mountains. However, this might have been the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was food and food wrappers on the floor. A mysterious substance that looked like coffee grounds on the bathroom floor. The shower and sink looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. And worst of all, a dead mouse on a sticky trap in the corner of the room. Very sad that it’s so poorly ran because it’s a truly gorgeous place.

This is the first time I’ve ever left a hotel for an issue. Our room was dirty with dead flies. There were more than 30 dead flies on the window sill and more on the floors of all the rooms, and piles of them in the lights. There was fly paper on all on the windows. I have pictures of this all. BEWARE. Please consider the negative reviews before booking. We spoke with the woman at the front desk, who said flies are normal. No offer to refund or move to a different room.

I just discovered I only have 1500 characters. Although quick, unfriendly and impersonal checkin (no, it was not busy). Arrival to my room, the door was unlocked - bathroom was dirty (garbage in can, hair in and around sink, no towels, shower wet). I returned and was told that she would send housekeeping right over. (After 20 minutes, I had to go to an appt, locked it and headed out) Upon my return 3 hours later, door wide open, man in bathroom saying he was housekeeping. (Hair still in sink, btw). No phone or cell service so couldn't call... and didn't want to walk across road that late (disablity)... NOT ADA by the way! Bedding had debris in the sheets. Stained sheets. I BROUGHT MY SLEEPING BAG IN FROM THE CAR because it was too dirty... looked like rice or worms on the fitted sheet. Rug had grass (won't guess what else as it is a "dude ranch") Floors, unswept. No smoke detector, no deadbolt, no secure windows (top window came down every time I tried to lock it), flies everywhere, broken window pane, screen dangling, no fan, no ammenities (like kleenex or anything for ice), window so dirty couldn't see out of it, toilet paper stufffed in holes in logs/wood, and the list goes on. The "lobby" had wrapped mounted elk head on the floor, carpets, lopsided table, dust covered. At check out, I mentioned it and didn't get any response - except a receipt for over $200. The place was beautiful in the past - but they must have had people who cared. THIS IS A NO GO

(After 20 minutes, I had to go to an appt, locked it and headed out) Upon my return 3 hours later, door wide open, man in bathroom saying he was housekeeping. (Hair still in sink, btw). No phone or cell service so couldn't call... and didn't want to walk across road that late (disablity)... NOT ADA by the way! Bedding had debris in the sheets. Stained sheets. I BROUGHT MY SLEEPING BAG IN FROM THE CAR because it was too dirty... looked like rice or worms on the fitted sheet. Rug had grass (won't guess what else as it is a "dude ranch") Floors, unswept. No smoke detector, no deadbolt, no secure windows (top window came down every time I tried to lock it), flies everywhere, broken window pane, screen dangling, no fan, no ammenities (like kleenex or anything for ice), window so dirty couldn't see out of it, toilet paper stufffed in holes in logs/wood, and the list goes on. The "lobby" had wrapped mounted elk head on the floor, carpets, lopsided table, dust covered. At check out, I mentioned it and didn't get any response - except a receipt for over $200. The place was beautiful in the past - but they must have had people who cared. THIS IS A NO GO

My group of 6 adults stayed at the Heart 6 Ranch Jul 15,2024. I feel misled by the pictures and descriptions on Expedia.If you're looking for wide-open spaces and horses in Wyoming, this might be the place for you, but for us, it over-promised and under-delivered.Granted, we were only looking for somewhere to spend the evening and overnight.It was the dirtiest place we stayed(despite 5/6 of us having grown up on farms with animals including horses in Canada)It was dusty everywhere outside due to about 40 horses running through the ranch’s numerous sleeping accommodations and guest cabins twice a day, leaving manure where guests need to walk. The rooms had hair in the shower drain and mouse poison on the floor. The ranch lacked hospitality. We were briefly told how to get to our rooms in a six-room bunkhouse but were not told that only one of the two restaurants was open, and it was the bar, not the restaurant in the Lodge. There was no explanation of activities available for the evening. We walked around after putting our things in our rooms and saw a busy crew of guides taking a group on a horse ride tour that included a meal. I’ve seen good reviews about that experience. However, if you are not signing up for one of the activities offered on the ranch($100ea) you are on your own. This was the most expensive place we stayed in our road trip. We had a queen bed and a bathroom. There was no fridge, microwave, TV, air conditioning, phone, ice, or continental breakfast.

This is quite the experience. We were having trouble navigating to our cabin and then as we’re driving they roped off the road and drove about 50 horses down to the pasture. Found the room and it was clean and roomy for 2. No ac but ceiling fan kept it somewhat comfortable. Staff is friendly. Not many amenities but it’s a ranch so expect as such.

This property is very cute and views are awesome & serene. My only concern was how thin the walls are in hearing your neighbor. But they are old cabin style, and very quaint. Quiet time is 10pm-6am but our neighbor was showering at midnight which we heard. Beds were very comfortable. I did think the food cost was a tad high & did not expect to pay $100 for 3 burgers, fries & drinks. Gratuity is automatically added despite it being order at the counter and they bring it to you, but the food was good. I would stay again however. They do offer a few activities for purchase which is great for families!

Rooms have no airflow. Our room only had one working window. Floors were very dusty. There is no television and no clock. Walls are very thin. You can hear the neighbors in regular conversation. Scenery is beautiful and location is fairly convenient. On site restaurant provides below average food at very high prices. Tip is automatically included, but not listed below the subtotal. Very noisy rooms. No privacy. I could hear the other guest snore, cough, use the bathroom ,entire conversations. I wouldnt flush to toilet at night so i didnt wake any guest. No handsoap, microwave, fridge, tv in room. Only one small light not near bed. Had to go into bathroom to read a map. They charge for everything, even a cup of water.

It was an amazing trip! The grizzly burger was the best burger I’ve ever had! Only small complaint is I wish the walls weren’t paper thin! I could hear our neighbors speaking and if it wasn’t a foreign language I definitely could have heard every word! I could hear them singing to their baby early in the morning to calm the baby down! But that was still sweet and still a great stay! Definitely would still recommend and would still stay again!

Cabin was in bad shape. You could see through the walls to the cabin attached to mine. The blinds were broken so you couldn’t turn them up or down, the shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower had fallen off and broken in the tub. Food at the bar was excellent and views from the ranch were beautiful. Way over priced for the stay.

The views from you cabin are spectacular with the Grand Tetons off in the distance. Also makes for a great location as you are only 10 minutes away from the north entrance to the Grand Tetons Park. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. However there was no mini-fridge, microwave, TV or dresser. Very disappointed since I was paying $279.00 a night. They had the space for these things but chose not to have them. There was no A/C but not that big of a deal as the weather was cool. The toilet was in the wrong place in the bathroom. There was a perfect spot by the sink but they decided to put it by the bathroom door. The Wi-Fi was spotty. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk they basically just shrugged their shoulders and said the further away you were from the server the worse the signal. The cherry on top was you needed a board to keep your window open. Definitely not worth the money.

The guest ranch advertises AC but there is no AC. If the Ranch would close the windows in the morning and pull the blinds down the rooms would stay much cooler and you can get away without the AC. The bed was comfortable.

Ok. This is a hard one to rate as it is a ranch so many things are as expected of a ranch and not necessarily of an accommodation like a hotel, motel, or resort. The 3-stars reflect an overall opinion. We had two rooms in different areas of the ranch. Both were very clean and comfortable. One of the rooms (the one away from the lodge) had wireless issues and a fan/light that needed repair, but other than that, no complaints. The complaints were (1) staff, and (2) restaurant. Regarding the staff, they were not friendly or helpful and made the stay much less desirable than it should have been. For example, my wife went down for breakfast, and she was the only one in the whole place (it was early). After the staff member messed it up, she was going to correct it without making a fuss and asked for a second empty cup (paper cup). He told her "No" and walked away. She thought he was joking, but he wasn't. Wow! For dinner the night before, they were out of more things than they had. They were even out of beer and wine and what seemed like 1/2 of the menu items. Checking in, the person was not friendly at all. This all just detracted from our experience. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the stay due to it being a ranch and the beautiful views. As my wife put it as we were leaving, if they don't want you to come, they should just take down the website.

My husband and I stayed at the Heart Six Range as one of our accommodations on a cross country road trip and used it as our base as we explored Yellowstone. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. I appreciate the novelty of the ranch as it is a working horse ranch, but overall we didn’t feel it was worth the price. The guys who checked us in we’re friendly and welcoming and I’d love to give a five star rating for staff and service based on our interaction with them but the staff at the restaurant were clearly stressed and it seemed like we were bothering them. The cafe is more self serve style and the food was okay, but again seemed over priced. Maybe we missed the other restaurant during our stay but the pictures on the site are not what the restaurant that we went to looked like. The heat was on in our room when we arrived in the middle of July and there is no air conditioning. We couldn’t open the window and the screen was duct taped to the frame. The fan also made a noise which woke us up throughout the night. If we had, had air conditioning or even a way to open the window I think we would have had a better experience and would have skipped the restaurant.

The room we planned to stay in 2 nights was filthy. Told manager we were leaving the next morning and that he should refund our second night’s charge. He said he would ask his boss. The next morning At checkout he said he never said that and refused to refund 2nd night charges. So a filthy room with an unprincipled GM.

I arrived and was confused on where to even go to check in. There was no parking so I had to park over where they give horse back rides and walk over to the largest building that I thought may be where I check in. Nothing had signage until I walked up to the door and it said lodge. Then there was a paper sign that said chrckin at gift shop which I could never find so I left because I couldn’t even call them to ask directions because of no phone service. I didn’t stay because I couldn’t even check in. Plus the staff hit my car with a basketball while they were playing in the corrals

We had one night here to visit the GTNP. This was just an off visit. I don't think I would return. The only reason we stayed was location. More details: It was hard to find the office to check in. Once we did, it seemed we were interrupting the guy to check us in. It was awkward and I don't think he wanted to be there. I asked about a few things and he didn't want to share additional information about the place. Example, there was a sign taped to the desk about the chili. When I asked how it was, it was like I asked his social security number. He didn't understand why I would ask him. IT was weird. There is a ton of papers you need to sign so you know not to steal anything and the additional fees. The room wasn't fully clean. The parking is tight and stairs to the room we were in. Glad we didn't have a lot of bags or a wheel chair. There are limited plugs in the room near the bed. Not trying to bash, but customer service was not really a thing here.

We had a reservation for June 6th. I called and let the staff know it would be after hours when we arrived. I was told to take our time, the envelope with key and instructions would be in the basket. When we arrived we located the envelope and upon entering the assigned room, we were surprised to discover that the room was occupied! We had to drive back to Jackson and find an available room. Today is June 15th. After emailing and calling a number of times, I still do not have a refund. The property manager has not reached out or made any effort to rectify the situation. The level of customer service I’ve experienced is truly substandard. I could not in good conscience ever recommend Heart Six Ranch to anyone.

Prior to check-in time, I asked if my room was ready. The desk person was like a cold robot, no early check-ins. While I waited, I wandered to the Heart 6 Western themed “Lodge”. Awful. It smelled of dust and mildew; the couches and rugs smelled like they hadn’t been cleaned beyond a vacuuming, forever. I went to the property bar and grill and ordered a beer. The nice bartender informed me that they had been out of beer for over a week. Once I checked-in, I walked to my room. The way crossed the property’s large wood deck on which one could sit and view the Tetons in the distance. On the deck periphery there were a few wood benches and a bunch of ugly red picnic tables packed together. And then I fell. The deck was constructed with a perimeter boardwalk and an interior circular wood construction, that formed the majority of the deck. The circular construction had collapsed in the middle, not recently I believe. In any case, as I walked across the deck, when I reached the circumference, the collapsed boardwalk angled down and caused me to misstep. I fell. From my backside, shockingly, I saw wire running on the deck floor to power lamps on the periphery of the deck. Not too happy, I arrived at my room. It smelled sickeningly and strongly of room scent cover-up. I walked from the room. There were no chairs by the room door, only a picnic table a way away. There is no cell service in the area. Heart 6 claimed wi-fi service, but there was none in my room ...

If you are looking to get away, this is an excellent choice. The views are spectacular. This is not a five star hotel, but a working ranch. There is no TV and cell service is scarce. Horseback riding and fishing, among other fun things to do. You are less than an hour from the main entrance to the Tetons. If you're into camping, they have tepees and covered wagons. Cafe on site or drive into Jackson.

I booked this property for its remoteness and on-site cafe. I checked the menu before arriving because I knew we would need to eat their food for all meals for three days. When we arrived, after receiving a call from front desk that our room was available, we learned the cafe was closed for the season. There was no food available and the room was not equipped to keep anything cold or warm anything up. There was no indication on Travelocity or the ranch website that no food was available. The nearest food was 40 miles away. We left a day early. Side note, we could also hear through the walls. Both neighbors had loud loving the two days we were there-super cool experience with my 14 year old son.

The heart six ranch is a perfect location for touring the grand Teton national Park and Yellowstone National Park. It’s a bit of a drive to Jackson hole, but the drive is all about the view.!

This is a unique property for those that want to get away from the normal motel in the city. Very nice if you want to do a trail ride with the Heart 6. Quaint accommodations but manageable. Much cheaper than Jackson.

Very unique experience. Secluded and quiet. Will return and make use of covered wagons available for overnight rental. Definitely very remote from any other towns. Jackson Hole is 40 mins away and closest town we know of for other food options. Cafe on site available.

Stayed in a cabin. No wifi or cell. The router was broken, but replacement on order. Lots of activities for extra fees, however. Very clean, nice staff. Limited dining options in immediate area. Could hear everything in the cabin next door.

The views from you cabin are spectacular with the Grand Tetons off in the distance. Also makes for a great location as you are only 10 minutes away from the north entrance to the Grand Tetons Park. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. However there was no mini-fridge, microwave, TV or dresser. Very disappointed since I was paying $279.00 a night. They had the space for these things but chose not to have them. There was no A/C but not that big of a deal as the weather was cool. The toilet was in the wrong place in the bathroom. There was a perfect spot by the sink but they decided to put it by the bathroom door. The Wi-Fi was spotty. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk they basically just shrugged their shoulders and said the further away you were from the server the worse the signal. The cherry on top was you needed a board to keep your window open. Definitely not worth the money.

Convenient location near Grand Teton, awesome views. If you are into horses, this is a great place. The smell of manure is all over the area, lots of horses, makes you know you are in a ranch (which we appreciate). The horses ran in front of our room every morning and evening from the field to their corral and viceversa, it was so cool to see them up close, so beautiful horses. Our room was like a small cabin. It had two bedrooms, bathroom, a living room with two couches and the only ceiling fan, full size refrigerator. The room was dusty inside and we had several bird nests on the awning of our entry door. If you are into nature this is an awesome place. They also offered tipis and wagons to stay in. There is no TV so we were able to disconnect.

The place could be cute, but it has so many problems it doesn’t make up for anything. We stayed for 4 nights, in 2 rooms. One ran out of water when too many people used it, one had no hot water, one had marginal internet, the other had none. There is ZERO cell service, so this is an issue. The walls are paper thin, we could hear when people used the toilet, not to mention entire conversations. No screens in the window, no fan or circulation in the bathrooms, paint peeling off the walls, flies everywhere since it’s next to horses but they don’t try to manage it even in the restaurant which is super expensive. $85 for two burgers, fried pickles & one soda (the food was excellent though, when you weren’t swatting the dozens of flies). There were no lights outside the doors to get to your car and there were broken steps and ones that definitely aren’t up to code (too skinny). It had one nice shower, when the water was available and hot. We stayed in 5 places in the Yellowstone & Tetons area. This was more expensive than some and the only one that was totally unacceptable on every level. Again it could be cute, the area is spectacular, the places could be fixed up and managed better. But as of right now I highly recommend people avoid staying unless you just need a bed for the night and can sleep through other people using the bathroom and don’t need to communicate with anyone while your there!

check in was good but the auto 20% for dinner should have had some one who could wait tables. Had to ask of basic things and ended up getting my own salt and napkin. No tea or coffee in room which may sounds petty but when you have such a beautiful view, why in the morning, do I have to get dressed go 100 m to the restaurant to get a tea and bring it back so I can have a read on the deck before breakfast? The room is good but w shall see how the night goes!

No rooms have a tv. This should be stated in their written materials. All drives around property are dirt and muddy after rains. Our door had a window in it, but no window covering. The blinds over the other two windows did not fully shut. The wooden walk in front of our room had holes in it making a hazard. They advertise they have two restaurants, but really have only one. We ate in the restaurant and had 100’s of flies landing on us. No joke. Both our food orders were wrong and they acted like they could care less. It’s a horse ranch and horses draw flies. Horses are very close to rooms. They need a handy man to repair things, but it looks like they don’t care.

The view was incredible. The bed was comfortable. There was only enough room for 1 tiny chair in the corner. Very uncomfortable to sit on. We never could get internet even outside our room. We had to drive down to restraunt and use it there. Very irritating since we run a business and couldnt get through. Shower pan needs to be replaced, you stand in a pool of someone elses shower water. View is incredible though. Restraunt issues: The cook refused to make the trout and fried chicken. She said she didnt want to deal with it. Chef said only thing you could order on menu was something fried or a burger. Ridiculous...

Check in was very slow. Service in the restaurant was also very slow still charged 18% tip by default which is really annoying. Many flies and mosquitoes in the restaurant and property.

Terrible check-in process. No one to check me in at midnight. Poor instructions for late check-in. Morning coffee was $8 a cup!!! Breakfast was really expensive $20 and the ham was deli sliced. Eat elsewhere.

The room itself was nice. However there were no cups or coffee in room and when asking for cups there was a rude response of how that was not possible. Coffee was $4 a cup and not available till 7am. You had to pay for tap water at dinner. Dinner was good but there are no servers and very expensive. You had to find your own silverware. Overall we couldn’t wait to leave and would never recommend. They don’t seem to care if you ever come back. The quote “turn them and burn them” comes to mind.

If you want to stay at a dude ranch, this is your spot. It has a western theme and offers activities for an extra fee. Our small room (Moose #2) held two beds, a dresser, a hall tree, and one night stand. There was no chair, refrigerator, or place to put your luggage. We were told not to leave food in unsealed containers in the room due to mice. Fortunately, we never saw a mouse. The bathroom was comparably large with a walk in shower. There was a step up to enter the bathroom. Sound goes through the walls so it can be interesting if you like to eavesdrop on other people’s conversations. It is made easier since there are no televisions. We did have wifi. There was a bench outside our room and other places to sit nearby. We had access to an adjoining building with couches and a pool table. The check in time seemed narrow to me (after 3 and before 4), but maybe if you call you can work something out. You check in next to a cafe and before you turn left into the ranch. There is a small gift shop in the front of the check in area. The view of the Tetons from outside our room was spectacular. The tiny town of Moran was 10 minutes away and the Moran entrance to Grand Teton National Park not far away. I was off put by a used towel left in our room but that view made up for a lot.

We checked in after dark and were given a room in the lodge. It was very difficult to find it was not explained to us that we were in a room inside of a communal building. I ended up wandering around the property with my flashlight trying to find our room for about 15 minutes before I figured it out. There was no coffee maker in the room, and no continental breakfast. But it was a beautiful property right in the heart of the Grand Tetons so overall we did enjoy our stay.

Over-all, a nice place to stay. Our room was tiny but our expectations were pretty realistic. This a dude ranch, not a spa. Don’t expect TV or much in the way of wi-fi. Bring your own snacks and drinks. A can of soda from the restaurant is $5 and a can of beer is $9-10. Food at the restaurant isn’t worth it, and is very expensive with a gratuity built in on top of it. That being said, the people were pretty friendly. The room was pretty clean. The views were the reason to come, worth it. I would stay here again, just need to plan correctly to have a great time.
