The property is centrally located The only downfalls are that parking can be tough unless someone is patrolling the parking lot. Too many people not staying at the property use the parking lot. And the electric lines and other power lines are too low which distorts the views from some rooms. The staff is great and the tavern food is delicious. A great stay overall.

Easy check in, beautiful view and bed was very comfortable. AC worked great! Shopping and food within steps on hotel. Parking staff were great and took care of us. Close to some great places such as the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Bar closed a bit early for us, but Boothbay Harbor as a whole, closes up by 9pm.

This was the perfect location to stay for our early morning Puffin cruise! They were able to accommodate a second car and allow for our ship‘s return timing. We enjoyed eating at the tavern and drinking some of their craft cocktails!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for shopping, boating, with beautiful scenery. The property seems a little tired and could use some updating. Our bathroom sink drained slowly, and the toilet was tilted and creaky. Internet access was extremely spotty. Nothing was bad enough to spoil our mini vacation though, and we will probably visit again.

Perfect location. Walk to all the restaurants and shops. Sightseeing cruises and Harbour views. Hotel is old and very clean, our bathroom really needed an update and sink would not drain. Walls are paper thin, we were woken at midnight to our drunken neighbors coming in. Spent the next hour listening to inappropriate talk, laughing and TV at full volume. We knocked on the wall and they knocked back and carried on with the noise.

Excellent location to stay. Older hotel but very clean & well maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. There is no housekeeping but fresh towels etc can be retrieved at front desk. I will definitely stay here again.

Rooms need to be updated and bathrooms. Beds were very uncomfortable. But the view was amazing. And they still have metal keys for rooms?! Should upgrade to keyless entry.

Great location, amazing AC! Bed a bit uncomfortable and worn, but clean. Internet access could be spotty at times but we were probably farthest from router. Appreciated the large ice bucket, fridge and roomy bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and spacious and had a balcony overlooking the harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is free parking.Unfortunately the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday, but there were other places to eat within easy walking distance. The breakfast sandwich from just across the street was delicious and we enjoyed it while taking in the view from the balcony. We would love to stay here again, our only regret is that we could only stay one night.

Wow what an incredible view of the harbor, we were basically on top of the water in room 222! It was a huge room with a great private balcony, new bathroom, new carpet, comfortable beds, blackout shades, and windows that actually open onto the ocean. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.

The location was amazing-- a great view of the harbor and walking distance to everything. Parking and check in was very easy. We had a room for 6 with 3 beds (one was in a separate room) and plenty of space. Much more spacious than a typical hotel room.

The front-desk staff folks were all absolutely fabulous - very helpful and accommodating. Location was perfect - a literal stone's throw away from restaurants, shops, and the pier.

We loved the location, being down on the water and close to everything was great. The young lady who checked us in wasn’t rude but certainly wasn’t overly helpful. I went back down to the desk to get clarification on something and another employee was there along with the one who checked us in. The other employee was much more engaging & helpful. The hotel itself is old and in need of some updating. The bathroom in our room had been partially redone. New shiplap was on the walls but had not been painted, not sure if that was on purpose. No hooks or towel bar in bathroom. The new mirror and sink in bathroom were great. The actual bedroom was huge and the outside balcony was also large. The bedroom really needed some updating. All and all we enjoyed our stay. I hope that by our bathroom being updated that means they are going to do some additional updating on the rooms. It is a great location and we really enjoyed our time in Boothbay.

It is an "OK" hotel, with very unpleasant staff except one younger girl. No service to rooms, so you take your used towels to reception for replacement. No microwave in room. We reserved a harbor view room, and it would have been except for the thick tree in front of the balcony.

No Hot water in the morning for a shower, no room service, you had to go to desk. Restaurants were closed, Fire alarm was going off all night. Wifi service was in and out. Was no one for checkout in the morning, and never received last checkout bill. Will not be returning.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Boothbay Harbor! Great bay views from one side of the hallway, super convenient to great eating spots right on the water, and cute shops - everything was walkable. If we come back to Boothbay Harbor, we would definitely stay here again!

This is a perfect spot to stay in Boothbay Harbor! Great bay views from one side of the hallway, super convenient to great eating spots right on the water, and cute shops - everything was walkable. If we come back to Boothbay Harbor, we would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for shopping, boating, with beautiful scenery. The property seems a little tired and could use some updating. Our bathroom sink drained slowly, and the toilet was tilted and creaky. Internet access was extremely spotty. Nothing was bad enough to spoil our mini vacation though, and we will probably visit again.

Main feature is a waterside restaurant and pub, the only real reason to stay there. Both were closed during our stay. Making it worse, staff told us the waterside seating area was not available to hotel guests. Very disappointing. Make sure their restaurant and pub will be open during your stay, other than that things were fine, a bit worn, but ok

This vintage seaside hotel is a jewel. Old Maine charm oozes everywhere! If you are looking for a vacation getaway that gives you authentic area feels, this is absolutely your place. The rooms were comfortable - be sure to ask for a water view! These rooms have a small deck with lovely chairs to watch the boats come down the harbor. They don’t have a free breakfast, but they do have a really lovely coffee bar in the morning where you can fix yourself a pumpkin latte and enjoy the brew on their waterfront porch. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in this area, but be sure to have dinner or lunch at the hotel at least once. The venue is perfect, the food was top notch and the bartender makes a mean painkiller! Our family was very glad that we chanced upon this gem for our stay at Boothbay Harbor.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and spacious and had a balcony overlooking the harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is free parking.Unfortunately the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday, but there were other places to eat within easy walking distance. The breakfast sandwich from just across the street was delicious and we enjoyed it while taking in the view from the balcony. We would love to stay here again, our only regret is that we could only stay one night.

We have stayed here many times. Disappointing that the dining area is gone. There are small plate items available in the bar area. The bartender was very friendly.

This was the perfect location to stay for our early morning Puffin cruise! They were able to accommodate a second car and allow for our ship‘s return timing. We enjoyed eating at the tavern and drinking some of their craft cocktails!

Room was nice. I loved having the balcony overlooking the harbor. Parking was on site and convenient. We were right in the middle of town walking distance to everything BBH has to offer.

We paid for a room that overlooked the harbor, and the view was amazing. We ate at the tavern one night and the service and food was good. The hotel is in a super convenient spot to walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Room was clean, beds were very comfortable. This is an old building so corridors were very narrow and bathroom was just okay although clean. Had no interaction with staff except for desk clerk and parking lot person who were both very nice. No breakfast on site but close by.

Fisherman’s Wharf is, overall, a very convenient, self-contained property. You can eat at the tavern without ever leaving the grounds, and once you’re there, you can easily walk just about anywhere you want to go in Boothbay Harbor. Our room had a small deck with a partial view of the harbor, which was lovely. We could see the public dock, which was always full of activity, and we were right next door to the Applejack Schooner. It was a great location for simply sitting back and watching everything going on around the harbor. My only real negative would be the condition of the room itself. “A little beat up” is probably the best way to describe it. The bathroom seemed quite outdated, particularly the bathtub, and the room itself could definitely use a fresh coat of paint and some updating. That said, it was very clean, which is certainly important and worth mentioning. Parking was interesting! There is a parking attendant who parks your car for you, which I assume is at least partly because the parking area is somewhat limited and awkward. It worked fine, but it was a little different from what we expected. Overall, the location and convenience are really the selling points of Fisherman’s Wharf. Being able to park the car, walk everywhere, enjoy the activity of the harbor and have a restaurant right on the property made it a very convenient place to stay.
